The Space:

Perfect for a few couples or a small family, this dog-friendly home provides standard conveniences such as a an outdoor firepit in a fenced yard and an excellent location in the heart of town. The spacious and well-appointed kitchen makes it easy to put together a tasty pre-beach breakfast. After dinner, spend some time around the backyard firepit roasting s'mores or just basking in the warmth of the fire. The enclosed yard is great for dogs who want to run around!



What's nearby:



Situated a quick quarter-mile from the beach and just a few blocks from the shops and restaurants of central Rockaway Beach, this home makes it easy to explore everything the area has to offer. Spend an afternoon combing the beach for interesting artifacts - if you head south, you'll eventually come across the highly photographed Twin Rocks, which lie just offshore. For those looking to go a bit farther, Lake Lytle is just over one mile to the north. Go for a hike in Twin Rocks County Park just under four miles away, or head 13 miles south to Tillamook and tour the famous Tillamook Cheese Factory.

Beautiful beach house

We were so happy that this house was bigger than we gathered from the pictures on-line. There was plenty of seating for everyone Everyone had a fabulous time staying here. We enjoyed time around the bonfire and grilled our dinners. Will definitely be back.

Convenient spot, cozy accommodations

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, cozy (love the decor!), and has everything you’d need. It was a perfect spot for a quick beach getaway, just a short walk to the main street in town and the beach. There was just enough room in one bedroom for our girls’ pack n plays for sleep, and liked having the fenced in backyard for our dogs. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay with my family. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms to go around. The place was tidy with everything we needed including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I will say the living room smelled like dog pee. I don’t know if an accident wasn’t properly cleaned up, but I would get a whiff of it while watching TV.

Excellent location and a well equipped home

The weather was lovely for a weekend at the beach. The location is so close to the beach and the train stop for the weekend steam train. We enjoyed s’mores around the fire pit and having a nice kitchen to cook in. Would highly recommend this property!

Lovely place

Great location- nicely decorated. Only complaint was a fan might have been nice as the weather was so warm, the house was a bit toasty. Kitchen was well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful house and location!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rockaway house. It is lovely and comfortable, the yard was great for the dogs, and the beach was so easy to access. Rockaway Beach is also easy access to all the neighboring towns. Our stay was 3 weeks and I would definitely pick this house for my next trip.

Wonderful Beach Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Calm Waters in Rockaway Beach and will definitely come back again in the future. The house had everything we needed for our family of four and our dog. It was so nice to be able to walk to the beach and everything else in town. We were also blessed with beautiful weather which made the stay even nicer.

Great Coast House

We celebrated a birthday here with 3 couples and it was a great stay. The house is laid out very conveniently and has most things you need from a vacation rental. The location is also perfect for a walk to the beach and restaurants/shops in Rockaway. I would definitely recommend it and would return in the future.

Family Vacation

Drove from Utah to Rockaway for a lovely family vacation. The location is within walking to the grocery, shopping, most importantly the beach! The house was clean and the backyard has a grill and fireplace we used multiple times. Strong recommendation! A great place to relax
