Spacious, lovely lakeside rental that accommodated our family. Beautiful view and short walk to the beach. We had a wonderful time and wish we could have stayed longer.

Our family met after a long few years apart due to Covid restrictions, this home met all our needs. Plenty of room, great location, and very beautiful! It was a wonderful family vacation!

Very clean home!

Beautiful property! We really enjoyed the large front patio with view of the lake. It was very relaxing. The backyard fire pit was a favorite of our trip as well. Well maintained and clean. Comfortable bedding. We appreciated that the check out instructions were simple.

Gorgeous home - best beds!

Not an exaggeration - most comfortable bed I've slept in vs my own. Great views, awesome location with proximity to other beach towns. The tv in the family room was hard to get cable but we finally figured it out. Maybe a little cheat sheet would help. Soaked in the large tub after a long hike - delightful.

The best beach house we've stayed in yet!

The property here is stellar, they have thought of every convenience and all areas are well stocked. All fixtures, furnishing and appliances are modern and in great shape, it was a fantastic place to vacation with my family. The layout of the house was ideal since we had two sets of adults and multiple children. I highly suggest this property for your family getaway to the beautiful Oregon Coast! Grocery stores and restaurants right down the street, beach a short walk away and lake just across the street. Excellent sitting areas in back and front and a fire pit and BBQ to grill and enjoy the outdoors. Plenty to do in either direction or just staying in Rockaway was nice too! The house is so comfy, we didn't want to leave!

Louver doors made privacy impossible to attain. Gorgeous house and property. Beautiful setting.

Why the louver doors? No privacy as the entire house can hear everyone one else cough, you name it. The house is gorgeous otherwise. The setting is lovely, on a lake with a 2 block walk to the beach. Crossing the highway must be done with vigilance for safety.

Good: Nice property/home. Not so good: >Ants seem to be infiltrating the home above the main entry door. Continued to through our 5 day visit. >One of the chairs kitchen table looks warn out and was not usable (sags deeply in the middle). >Every door (including all bathrooms) are lattes doors. Far less than private for frequent bathroom use.

beautiful lake front house

We loved this house for our family reunion. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals. The beds were comfortable with lots of blankets in every room. We enjoyed sitting on the porch with great chairs for front and back porch and used the firepit for making smores one night. It is true all the doors are slated so be aware all sound travels through the bathroom! I used a fan and white noise machine in the bedroom which blocked out noise from . This is by far the most comfortable we have ever been in beach house!. Crossing the 101 to get to the beach was not an issue. I just wish we had kayaks to use on the lake during our stay.

what we love and what would be nice

The attention to detail - creative and appropriate light fixtures, thoughtful design features. Open living - spacious areas, the lake is peaceful and adds surprise to this location, moonlight reflections in early morning paddlers moonlight reflections and early morning paddlers. Like the fact that this location is in the neighborhood but only 5 minutes from the ocean will be back! Nice to have: and ice cream scoop, a rubber spatula, books that illustrate local birds and plants, the electric mixer sounds dreadful, left front burner on stove not working, barbecue grill - needs to be clean check propane hookup caught on fire or buy a new one. Directions for dishwasher would be helpful.

Great Location, Some Weirdness

We absolutely loved staying here! Beautiful property and super close to the beach. There were only two real turnoff to this property. First: Cameras, basically everywhere we looked outside. Several members of our party were weirded out by this while we were hanging out outdoors, and we worried about indoor cameras, too. Second: There was a distinct and constant smell of gasoline. It seemed to be coming from the garage (locked) and filled the dinning area, part of the kitchen, and the base of the stairs up to one bedroom. We tried airing the place out, but the smell didn't go away or lessen. Overall: This was a great place to stay, but we probably wouldn't go back.

Great house, intrusive neighbor plus lots of cameras.

The good: the house was as described, perfectly clean and excellent. The downside is one, there is a camera secured in the tree that films the front porch, living area and the kitchen. These are all the common areas of the house. Our family reunion was being (presumably) filmed and watched from start. It was very intrusive. There is a next door neighbor that we had quite a bit of trouble with. To be fair to the house and neighbor, my uncle did show up with a small dog, which we told him and his girlfriend they couldn’t bring. They are in their late seventies and I’m sure they simply forgot. As soon as the dog got out of the car it was running around the front yard while I was talking to my uncle about the situation to come up with a plan for the dog. Not five minutes after my uncle and the dog show up, the next door neighbor is getting our attention from his front porch, claiming to be the property owner and insisting we remove the dog. Apparently this gentleman is not the property owner. I let him know, look this was unexpected, we’re working out a solution. Ultimately, I had to call Vacasa to have them contact the actual owner to tell this neighbor to stop videoing and watching us from his windows. I actually went out the front door, waived and then motioned that “I see you” to him. This guy spent a good 45 minutes creeping through his windows before he chilled out. I had three teens on that drip and they were weirded out by the ordeal. Nice house, not welcoming.

Beautiful Property

The house was exactly as described. It was comfortable and good for a group. Beautiful view, short walk to the beach perfect weekend. We had a few issues throughout our stay. When booking we asked for more information about the fire pit and did not get a response. 3 days prior to arrival we asked the same question as well as inquiring about the possibility of early check in. 24 hours after check in we got a response for no early check in. Still no response about the fire pit. Upon our arrival we sent another message for assistance in locating the outdoor furniture and how to turn on the fireplace inside. We never had a response. The lack of communication from the property management was frustrating. The house did not have a notebook for how to use the amenities. We also came across several cleanliness issues. Two dirty towels in the bathroom (full face make up marks on a towel and possibly just a stained towel) also there were several dishes we pulled out of the cupboards dirty. Bring your own dish soap, they only leave two tabs to wash dishes with. These were small things but for the quality of the property and price it seemed reasonable to expect cleanliness and communication.
