Three generations of our family, all adults, stayed at this comfortable house, in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood, close to the beach. House was well stocked with the essentials that we needed. We would be happy to come again.

We enjoyed our stay here and the location was beautiful! The fire pit was nice and we liked that the house was kid friendly. It had everything we needed and was comfortable. Our main problem was with the Internet. It was having issues connecting and would work for a few hours and then disconnect. The host sent someone out but it didn't fix the problem. Communication was also okay but sometimes took a long time. We would stay here again but I hope they get a new router or better Internet system.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm so glad the location, fire pit, and family-friendly setup contributed to an enjoyable stay. I’m sorry the Wi‑Fi dropped intermittently and that the initial technician visit didn’t fix it. We did ultimately have to have Spectrum out to upgrade the equipment, and now it is working well. Thank you very much for staying with us. We hope you will consider returning to visit again!

We enjoyed our stay! Short walk to a really nice beach and the neighborhood was quiet as well. It just seemed like the floors had never been mopped - our socks were black.

Perfect location, comfortable home with everything you need!

Was perfectly located and a short walk to the beach. The town of Rockaway is a short drive and hosts shops, eateries and gifts. The fireworks were amazing, displays from other beach goers and the Rockaway beach festivities. Definitely will return next year!

We loved our stay! The property is tucked in a nice quiet neighborhood with an easy, pleasant walk straight to the beach access. We were there in early April and it was like we had our own private ocean beach. The home is cute, well laid out and well equipped. The listing doesn’t mention this but, bonus for 4 adults staying there, there is a half bath in addition to the full bath. My 23 year old daughter loved the upstairs room. The porch up there is lovely for your morning coffee. Would definitely stay again. Home away from home. 3

House is fine... but not great. Needs maintenance. Broken tiles in the kitchen that crunch under your feet.Sink in laundry bath drains slow.Missing trim in laundry bath. Two of the windowsills in living room are not attached, just sitting there loosey goosey.Broken partially missing threshold on main bathroom had rusty finish nails sticking up, luckily I had Leatherman pliers and was able to pull out the nails before our toddler or us caught our feet on them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I’m sorry you encountered multiple maintenance issues — the damaged kitchen tiles, bath drain and missing trim, loose windowsills, and the compromised main-bath threshold are all things you should not have had to worry about during your stay. I’ve reported each item to our maintenance team and requested immediate repair and a full safety check, with priority on anything that could pose a risk to children especially. We appreciate you calling these issues out so we can correct them promptly.

Loved how close to the beach we were! We could only hear it at certain parts of the house, but it was only a couple minutes of walking away! There is a water filter in the fridge, but the lid is broken and the filter needs replaced. Bed was somewhat soft but comfy! No fitted sheet, though. Only a top sheet laid over the bed.The place was clean, quiet, and the perfect getaway for my partner and I. We especially loved the fire pit.

Very clean and comfortable. The location is one of our favorites. Someome who works for the rental company drove up while we were there and wanted to come in to fix a ceiling fan that was reported not working - we said no thank you we are on vacation. It seemed strange. The back door was not locked when we got there. We loved the refrigerator and the house itself was very roomy. We wish we knew it had a keurig coffee maker.

Thank you for the review and for choosing Meredith Lodging. I’m glad the home felt clean, comfortable, roomy, and that you enjoy the location so much. I'm sorry the maintenance team interrupted your stay. They are instructed to call ahead of a visit, and we will be sure to reiterate this requirement with them. I will also share with our housekeeping inspector that they missed the back door in their security sweep, I'm sorry that caused you concern. Thank you for the helpful feedback!
