We do want to apologize for the frustration surrounding check-in. Our intention was to provide a quick solution for operating the lock, but we understand that after a long day of travel, our response could have been more helpful and accommodating. Since your stay, we’ve updated and clarified the entry instructions to make the process much smoother for future guests. We also addressed the trash storage issue and understand how unpleasant that experience was upon arrival. Additionally, the concerns regarding the porch door lock and sink drainage have since been corrected as part of ongoing property improvements. Regarding the train noise, the property is located near the coastal rail line and train station, which many guests enjoy for convenience and walkability, though we understand sensitivity to noise can vary from guest to guest. We appreciate the constructive feedback and are continuing to make improvements to ensure a better experience for future visitors.

We’d like to provide some additional context for future guests. When the issue with the entry lock was brought to our attention, we responded immediately and replaced the lock to ensure access moving forward. We also remained available throughout the stay to assist with any concerns that were communicated to us. We were not made aware of the ice machine concern during the stay, but we take cleanliness extremely seriously and have since addressed and inspected the unit thoroughly, along with making additional adjustments for future guests. We have also updated our check-in instructions to make arrival and parking access clearer and easier to navigate. That said, we appreciate the positive comments regarding the location and ocean views, as those are some of the things guests typically love most about the property. We are continuously working to improve the guest experience and value all constructive feedback.
