Easy access, well maintained, some added extras were nice like the beach chairs and umbrella.

Wonderful, well equipped property

Myself, husband and 2 dear friends enjoyed this property very much. Our common suggestion is related to the shades in the bedrooms: they do not fit well and thus allow the sun’s heat and brightness to take away from otherwise comfortable bedrooms.

The property was nice, I was not impressed by the fact that I had to make all the beds when we arrived, then strip all of them and remake them when we left. Why did I pay a cleaning fee to do housekeeping while on vacation? I also had to open the windows as soon as we arrived because there was a strong cat pee odor while walking up the stairs to the upper level.

We would have loved the opportunity to address the situation with the odor during your stay & regret this is the first we are hearing of it, but we are going to investigate it immediately, as this is not a pet friendly property. We do our best to disclose the need to make the beds in the listing description, but we understand that needed to be made more clear. We do not charge any guests for housekeeping, so please rest assured you were not charged for that. We pay the housekeeping bills, as is disclosed in the listing description (and listing title), but we’ll discuss with our team some ways to make it even more clear for the future. Very nice layout and location, but with some issues

Check in was easy, pre-check in communications were very good: The front steps were splintery and need treatment. The toilets are very low, not good for older people with knee or hip issues, and the beds are very low too, and the way they are constructed makes it very difficult to "make the bed". They are reasonably comfortable and there are lots of pillows to choose from. The master bathroom toilet kept plugging and overflowed causing a bad leak on the floor and through the ceiling. We used all of our towels to clean up the mess and reported it immediately. The office staff was very friendly, but also totally ineffective. They sent someone while we were out who did unplug the toilet, but they threw the dirty towels in our tub along with the plunger. They threw the wet bathroom rug on to the bedroom rug and didn't clean up the leak on the dining room table. They also didn't leave new towels. Two calls later we still did not have towels and I asked to speak with a manager, and was told there was no manager on duty until the next day. Also, the dishwasher didn't work so we arrived to find a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. The next day Nicole called. I explained the situation to her, and she immediately got cleaners in, and towels delivered, and the cleaners washed the dirty dishes. This was a personnel issue as much as anything. Nicole also followed up at every point. The location is very good so we might stay there again, but as I said, there were issues.
