Clean studio. Comfortable bedding. Small space provided queen bed, nightstand, armoire and TV. Small fridge, microwave & coffee maker. Stylishly tiled bathroom. Location in Belmont Shore neighborhood with access to bay and ocean. 5 minute walk to popular 2nd Street restaurants. I visited during August heatwave. Host promptly answered request for additional fan. Pricing on high end for a small studio (approximately 10x12) without kitchen or air conditioning.

The host was unbelievably welcoming and generous, wonderful accommodations, and very clean. We highly recommend staying here. Minutes from the beach or second Street.

Check-in was rough. I waited for the email, but as our check-in time of 4pm came and went, I finally contacted the owner. There was no answer, so I left a message and she responded relatively quickly. She said she had no record of the booking, but I was able to find the email from her, confirming our visit. She asked us to wait 30 minutes, and then called us back. Thankfully, it was still available so we still had a place to sleep. Unfortunately, the rush was obvious as there was hair in the shower and on one of the pillows. We needed lodging for two nights in this area, and it unfortunately aligned with the weekend of the World Cup, when USA was playing in SoFi. That left us with very, very few options. Although this unit was only 1 bed/1 bath, I knew we'd only be inside to sleep and that we'd use the patio when we were awake. I was horrified when we showed up and found that none of the pictures are accurate. That fantastic patio has now been divided into sections, leaving the rental side with a small, and very awkward, space. Gone were the outdoor couches; we had to get our beach chairs from the car for a place to sit. So what ended up happening is that we had to find things to do -- which all cost money -- during our awake-time since there was no practical place for us to be at the unit.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry that your check-in experience was not as smooth as either of us would have liked. To provide some additional context, I received your call at approximately 5:45 PM regarding check-in. At that point, I immediately began working to resolve the situation and informed you that it would take about 30 minutes. Approximately 30 minutes later, I personally checked you in and, as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience, provided a $50 refund. I was also disappointed to read your comments regarding the cleanliness of the unit. This is the first time we have received a complaint about hair in the property. In fact, cleanliness is consistently one of the most highly rated aspects of our accommodations across multiple rental platforms. I sincerely wish you had contacted me during your stay, as I would have immediately arranged for housekeeping to return and address any concerns. Regarding the patio, the layout was modified in response to requests from guests staying in the front house who desired additional privacy. While the patio space is now divided, guests still have access to a substantial outdoor area. Had you reached out to me during your stay, I would have been happy to discuss additional options, including access to the larger main patio area, which is separated only by a small connecting door and would not have presented any issue. My goal is always to ensure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I genuinely appreciate
