You'll stay in a 2-story garden style loft apartment with private entrances.

- Open floor plan, 2-story ceiling high living room and loft space filled with light (one-of-a-kind to a Garden style apartment).

- Large living/dining area with smart TV and high speed Wi-Fi.

- Full size kitchen with full size appliances, including clothes washer/dryer, offers everything you'd need to make this your home away from home.

- 2 spacious light filled bedrooms (one on the ground floor, the other on the loft level) with comfortable queen size beds, quality linens, and a 3rd queen size pull out couch by Serta.

- Full size bath room is located on the loft level with a bathtub and all the necessary amenities.

- Centrally located, yet you'll find yourself escaping all the city noises as you enter the charming and peaceful historic Mt Pleasant.

One block from the main street where you'll find neighborhood ethnic grocery stores, cafes, ice scream shops, deli and restaurants. 5 min walk to major bus lines and 10-15 min walk to the Metro Station, 2 blocks to enter trails in Rockcreek National Park, the largest inner city National Park in the country.

NOTE: The bathroom is on the 2nd floor loft level. Elders or people with mobility challenges may find going up the stairs a slight inconvenience.

Street parking is free with unlimited hours and not difficult to find in Mt Pleasant.

We had a fabulous stay! The place is very conveniently located and is a very cute spot. We really enjoyed the brick rowhouse, the updated finishes, and the ease to check in/out. Our host was spectacular and very easy to work with. Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this home! The basement apartment feels like a full home, it is well appointed with two comfortable beds, a great living room/kitchen area and dining space. The hosts are attentive and caring, the space is immaculate. The property offers easy access to navigating surrounding historical Mount Pleasant, the National Zoo both walkable from the property; and downtown DC by car. We enjoyed the host's recommendations for outstanding local restaurants and activities. Come enjoy this lovely space and the local cusine.

Ying was an incredibly helpful, communicative, and kind host. We spent 4 nights in the apartment and enjoyed the comfortable accommodations and amenities like the washer/dryer and full kitchen. Mt. Pleasant is a lovely community with a farmers' market and friendly neighbors. We had never been to DC before, so we didn't expect to be a 15–20-minute drive from the museums but getting around was very easy with a short walk to busses and train.

We learned over the years of traveling around the world that having comfortable beds, linens and my own kitchen are essential when we are away from home. For that reason, we strive to offer comfortable mattress, high quality linens and a well equipped kitchen for our guests.

We've lived in the historic Mt Pleasant for 30 years. Our children growing up enjoy having walking access to the Zoo and the Rockcreek National Park like our backyard. You'll find this community a safe, peaceful and hip place for of family with kids, dogs as well as young people from students to professionals of all trades.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Most of the offerings in the neighborhood are basement level apartments. Ours is one-of-a-kind, because it has a legal Certificate of Occupancy. This means the apartment has legal ceiling height and meet all the current building codes. It's twice as spacious as most of the apartments in Mt Pleasant or in DC, because it contains 2 full stories. You will find yourself in a "real" apartment" unlike any garden level unit.
