Very clean and not a lot of random things from previous guests! Host was very helpful when I needed to contact her with a question - she got back to me right away!
I was surprised but grateful to find this cabin for our last minute trip. It was cozy and the perfect size for our small family of three. I appreciate Kuuipo for having great communication.
Cute small home, very close to town and lake. Was able to take my 2 dogs and they had bowls ready for them. Only down sides were had to pay extra to have a fire, there was no where to eat since the TV is on the table and they only had 2 chairs in back and none on the patio to sit on. Host was very easy to talk with and got back to us right away. Good home if you have 2 or 3 people.
Iâm so sorry you misunderstood about the fire - you could have definitely had a fire
I was charging $10 for the wood which cost me $30. Thanks for letting me know - I will relay that in the description.
Decided to do a last second trip up to Big Bear with our 2 kids and this exceeded our expectations. Nice sized bedrooms and fairly comfy beds, cozy living area with Roku TVs, washer and drier. We didnât use it but the back yard had a gas fire pit that seemed good. Not a huge place but exactly what we needed and a short drive from the ski resorts.
The property was great home base for my stay at Big Bear. There are a few things that can be improved inside the cabin and property. The backyard fence does not have a locking mechanism to shut it appropriately to let your dog run around securely. I tied a leash to keep it shut. Overall not a bad place.
It was adequate for the weekend. Beds were comfy, blankets were soft and thick but no insulation so pretty cold at night(one central furnace) and warms up very quickly on the morning(one space A/C). We found a few issues that caused it to not be a 5 star experience. The place was cleanish but definitely not thoroughly cleaned. Very little TP to start with and no back up. The only body wash was a used bar of soap and only no-brand tiny shampoo. I had to clean off shower head because it had a lot of build up causing erratic spray and odd pressure. Living room tv is too high, seems like it's at least 8 feet up, not the most comfortable to watch.
Easily the best deal for the money in Big Bear! We brought our two large dogs, and having a fully fenced yard plus the lowest price and pet fee in the area with the best reviews made this a no-brainer.The cabin was spotless, cozy, and well-updated. It was unusually warm during our trip, but the AC, swamp cooler, and fans kept the place nice and cool (and the electric heater came in handy when it got a little chilly one night). Itâs really cute with a gorgeous fireplace and fire pit and there were tons of extra toiletries/amenities. Excellent host communication from start to finish, clear check-in steps, and easy parking for two vehicles. We loved it so much we're already organizing a stay at one of their other properties.
This little cabin is in a great location! It's walking distance to some businesses and has nearby access to the free transportation offered in Big Bear. There were some elements missing that would have elevated the stay which were communicated to the host. The host was very open to those ideas. Big Bear is a lovely, little, charming town and great place to escape for the weekend.
