Awesome property and so close to Acadia and Bar Harbor amenities - this made us able to experience so many things and not worry about missing out! Would recommend to anyone looking for accommodations in this area and would stay again!

Wonderful time, excellent location and beautiful property. All our needs were anticipated. From the home we could easily hit all the spots including the park, Bar Harbor and the NE and SW Harbors.

Great location - loved the post and beam built house. Property Managment service was easy to work with - answered all questions quickly during planning phase. Will stay here again on another trip.

The location of this property was great, 10 minute drive to town and the mountain. The management company was quick to respond to a few questions we had. The house was dated and could use a deep cleaning. There were some minor maintenance issues that the management company plans to address. We were only there 2 nights so didn't inform them of these issues until we left.We had a blast on the carriage trails, shopping and eating at some great restaurants in town.

House was great…no complaints. Only ten minutes from bar harbor and within 20 minutes of just about every hike. We had a great time!

Home outperformed what was expected. We were here for three nights from Alabama brining our four boys to see MDI and Acadia National park. It was spacious, very cozy, and we slept the best there of any leg on our overall trip to Maine. The boys loved the downstairs game room. They thought their vacation was just hanging at the house until we had to evict them to the park! The home was very clean and well stocked. It was also perfect distance from Bar Harbor and other areas of the park. We barely ventured to Bar Harbor because it was overwhelming with people and tourism. This home was perfect to travel to other areas to see. Our last night we went to NorthEast Harbor and took a ferry ride over to little cranberry island for dinner. We booked with Cadillac water taxi and they were excellent. We definitely recommend for those trying to get away from the crowds.

The house was beautiful and clean and comfortable. However, there appears to be a problem with the jetted tub upstairs. It randomly comes on and off and the noise disturbed our sleep. We contacted the property managers; they said to turn it off. There was no way to do that. We tried turning off several circuit breakers and none worked to cut off power to the tub. Controls on the tub did not work. Also it would be helpful to increase the size of the hot water heater. It could not support 6 people, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Several of us had cold showers.The stairs between the den and kitchen need a railing.Other than those problems, the house was great. The post and beam architecture is beautiful. The location was convenient to Acadia Park and downtown Bar Harbor. The fenced yard was perfect for our 2 dogs. Be aware that the loft bedroom does not have a door; this was stated in the listing.
