Ron our host was great! Met us when we arrived and explained everything,sent us messages about events going on in our area. Cozy place for us to enjoy the beautiful weather of Vieques! We walked down to the beach,less than two minutes away,to collect beach glass. Felt very safe in the neighborhood and loved that there were basic necessities,soap,condiments,detergent in the house! Would recommend this place for sure!

We had a nice long stay so this truly became our home away from home. It had everything we needed while being simple and true to the Vieques way. Our host was 100% on top of it and very helpful when we had some travel challenges. We loved the pool and covered porches, made use of the beach gear and other amenities and felt secure and comfortable throughout our stay. It was tough to leave this little slice of paradise.

The house was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved the pool and it was a 5 minute drive to downtown and maybe 10 to the beaches. Perfect vacation house!! Ron the caretaker was BEYOND helpful and went above and beyond the job requirements. Thank you for all your help this weekend- can’t wait to come back!

I wish I could give more stars. It was exactly what we wanted! This property was prefect for our beach seeking family. From the pool, the comfortable bedding, the washer & dryer, and the overall cozy nature of the property we felt right at home. Ron is a superior host. From his correspondence since booking to his curated welcome guide, we could not have asked for a better experience. We can’t wait to visit again!

“Absolutely Perfect!”

The house was comfy, clean, and in a great location. It had everything we needed, along with very thoughtful touches that made our stay even more comfortable. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. You can tell the host truly cares. Highly recommended!

We loved the property, the bar stools and the cooking pans and ice trays need to be replaced other than that we loved our stay and Ron was very helpful and friendly.

Everything you need plus

The online listing is perfectly accurate. The pool was actually bigger and deeper than we expected. My two daughters (11 and 7) and I felt safe and comfortable in the home and had everything we needed for all our adventures. The beach chairs, towels, coolers, beach toys, and kitchen supplies were well thought out. It was nice that we could leave our car on the street most of the day but then button it all up by locking it inside the property at night. We utilized the washer and dryer on the daily and all the technology in the house was also easily accessible and efficient. If you don;t need to be right on the water and aren;t looking for something too "fancy" this is an excellent spot that I would highly recommend. Beaches, restaurants, stores, etc all within a short (15 minute max) drive.

A month away

We loved Dos Coquis; it was just the right size for my husband and I. The pool area was our go to spot for morning coffee and playing cribbage. Ron, the manager, was excellent. He gave advice and came by weekly to service the pool and check in on our needs. We love the area - it is a 5 minute walk to La Chata beach; we often saw the horseback riders going by the house heading to the beach. The house is right on the other side of Isabel Segunda, so getting needed supplies was easy to do on the way home from the beach. The best bonus for us was that the ice cream truck came by on Monday nights!!! The shower was always hot, with great pressure. The washer and dryer were helpful and there is a clothesline to use. There was a hammock in the carport that could be set up. There are beach chairs, an umbrella and cooler to use for the beach. The owners, Rod and Rhonda, were a delight to work with; always quick to answer questions and provide what we needed. I highly recommend Dos Coquis, and hope to get back there again.

Enjoyed our stay

The property was very clean and conveniently located. The house had everything we could need and a good supermarket was nearby. The beach down the street is quite narrow and not really appropriate for more than a walk but it was still nice to have water nearby. The pool was small but good for a little dip. Having a washer and dryer was so helpful! We loved the chickens and horses walking up and down the street and the neighborhood was very quiet! Ron was very helpful and responsive although we didn’t have any issues at all. If you’re looking for a safe, quiet and relaxing break, this is the place to go!

Compact, clean, convenient cottage on Vieques

This lovely little property fit our family (2 kids ages 14 and 9) and me just perfectly. We were able to share the bathroom (fyi just 1 and no tub) and the kitchen was clean and functional for cooking. The kids loved the pool! That was also clean and ready to just hop in. The location was very close to Isabel, which has restaurants and a decent grocery.Perhaps best of all, we were a 5 min walk to the best beach! It was never crowded, had cool tide pools, and was remarkably clean.Our host was prompt, pleasant, and helpful.Highly recommend

Great little house

Well stocked kitchen and linens. The pool was great for cooling off in the heat. Beach accessories were super helpful- coolers, chairs, umbrella used on a daily basis. The local host was super helpful at check-in and gave us great info to help us enjoy the island to its fullest.

The house is really nice and has cute decorationsÙ«it was really amazing the first three days. however the security camera (next to pool) did not work and we found out the hard way. We noticed people kept coming onto the property and playing in the pool. We found our waters and Malta's scattered all over the pool area from people coming in and partying whenever we left the property. we also had some of our things stolen from alcohol to hatsÙ« gaming devices and headphones. Found our foods we boughtÙ« eaten and thrown around the kitchen. When telling the owner how we were harrassed he commented he didnt know how people were getting in. They kept coming back to the house and the third time they came my brothers floatie for the pool was stabbed multiple timesÙ« Our bug candles/sprays were thrown around the property. We were toldÙ« im sorry Ù«to report to the police (which we did) and i dont understand how this is happening. Not only that but i guess the owner doesnt have the pool cleaners scheduleÙ« so management is very questionable. It was a nice house but for my fiancĂ©'s first vacation this was really scary /frustrating. We (momÙ« brother and I) have been coming to this island since i was littleÙ« my parents grew up here. Never have we ever experienced this. I feel there could have been more said and done to at least make us feel better from the owners part. i have no more space to type anything else. All i hope at this point is he makes some Safe security changes for future renters.

Easy location to town and beaches. Ron was great at helping with any issues that came up and very friendly. Good pool, good WiFi and well equipped kitchen made the week perfect.

Loved it!

The home was close enough to walk to the beach and to town but it also felt very private which was nice. We had everything we needed at the house, even a good movie selection! Ron was very helpful and quick to answer any of my questions. Great weather, relaxing vibe throughout the whole island, and amazing beaches! We went to multiple ones everyday but still weren't able to see them all. It was great to come back to a comfortable place to eat and sleep. My kids really liked the pool and the baby chicks that came through the yard in the morning. Having a washer and dryer was a big help too. Overall, the home was perfect for the three of us and I think this was one of the best trips we have ever gone on.

A great stay at Dos Coquis

We enjoyed our time at Dos Coquis and Ron was a great host and resource. Highly recommend Letty's Taxi service for our shuttling back and forth to the ferry and the food at the Rincon del Sabor. Delicious! But our best meals were at Dos Coquis.

Great place to rest your head after a day on the beach or eating the local cuisine. AC works great in every room, washer and dryer are awesome so you don't have to pack as much. Local wildlife everywhere. I would definitely come back again.

This house is adorable! Conveniently located, perfect for the family! Beach is a hop, skip, and a jump! Perfect spot on the north shore! The check in process was super easy, as well as check out! Ron is amazing, knows the area, all the ends and outs! Be back soon!

Great spot in vieques

We had a great stay at Ron’s house in Vieques. Ron reached out before we arrived and made sure we were all set. Ron met us at the property and showed us the ins/outs. The property had everything we needed inside. You could tell a lot of time and effort went into making sure everything was perfect at the property. Outside, our girls loved the pool and hammock. There was a washer/dryer on property as well which was very useful. There were a ton of mosquitos around dusk but Ron had left some bug spray on the porch which was very useful. Once or twice we did have to go inside and not use the pool though because of the mosquitos. That being said, we were very happy with our stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Small And Intimate

The Salt Water Pool. The Short Walk To The Beach. The Neighbors. The Horses n Rosters.. The Next Door Baby Goats That Let U Feed Them. Ron Was So Very Helpful At Any Time I Contacted Him! Make Sure U Get A Vehicle Tho. We Had A Golf Kart & It Was Like We We’re Locals!! My Children LOVED The Food.. MAKE SURE U VISIT THE LOCAL TRUCKS!! We have traveled to Vieques for many years to vacation and relax. We love this island because of the relaxed attitude. We have even had a family members' wedding on the island. We chose this house for it's beautiful location and proximity to small, quiet beaches.
