Villa Los Aires, A unique 5BR Jungle Palacio with Toucans and Waterfalls

An upscale home set on 60 acres of secluded tropical forest replete with amazing waterfalls, swimming holes and private hiking trails. Fully staffed with breakfast provided. We offer daily housekeeping and concierge services.  The very well equipped main house (6000 sf/ on 3 levels) has 5 air-conditioned bedrooms each with en-suite full bathroom. There is a 3 BR garden cottage available separately. The large open air great room has ample space for relaxing and dining. The property is a bird watchers paradise. Toucans, hummingbirds, our resident sloth, howler monkeys and wildlife galore is found in our hillside setting. You will have access to the whole property and the surrounding gardens and forest.

The property is perfect for large multi-family gatherings, weddings and other special occasions. Large public spaces and gardens provide ample for folks to gather. We host a number of themed retreat weeks each year, such as yoga and spiritual, organic food seminars, etc.

Our concierge, Esteban, is at your service throughout your stay. He is there each morning to help cook breakfast and is happy to help arrange the days activities as well, do shopping, coordinate meals/cooks, etc There is a staff member available 24/7 to assist with any urgencies.

Rate quoted is for the 5 BR main house  and price includes up to 9 guests and breakfast each morning. Additional guests are $49 per night. Maximum we can comfortably accommodate is 16-18 adults plus 6 children using portable bedding.  Use of garden building rooms is available for $35 per night each. If unoccupied, the cottage is shuttered and never rented to another party

The staff will put out complementary coffee, juice, eggs, cereal and fruit each morning. If you would like to have a complete breakfast served please let the concierge know. The typical breakfast in CR would include eggs to order, gallo pinto (rice and beans) with sour cream, tortillas, sautéed plantains, and fresh fruit. We highlight a different one of Costa Rica's flavorful coffees each morning.

The property has an air-conditioned theater room, in-ground pool, 10 person spa, a giant chess board and chill out area in the adjacent gardens. Being at higher elevation we have cooler evening temperatures than the beach areas yet pleasant warm days.

From the property one can hike to multiple amazing waterfalls and swimming holes. We are close to the amazing Nauyaca Waterfalls, deserted beaches, EcoChontales by ATV and plenty of jungle adventures such as river trekking, hiking, and horseback riding. Manuel Antonio National Park and Seasonal white water rafting are 60 minutes away.

We are 3.5 hours from SJO airport. 30 minutes from Dominical or San Isidro de El General.

The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Feel free to walk as far as you like on the country roads. 4x4 vehicle is needed to safely navigate the local gravel roads, especially in the rainy season.

We have two drivers available for hire, each with a luxury 7 pax SUV. They can provide airport pickup/dropoff and daily local transportation. Rental vehicles are widely available at SJO airport. The regional airport at Quepos is open and only 50 minutes away. It is a nice option if you don't have much luggage.

Late night arrivals are no problem. Early arrivals after a red eye flight can usually be accommodated with prior notice.
