A Cozy Adirondack Escape We traveled up from the Hudson Valley to soak in the beautiful Adirondack fall foliage and enjoy some hiking with our dog. While Mother Nature had other plans and treated us to a rather rainy getaway, it turned out to be the perfect excuse to slow down, settle in, and enjoy the wonderful cabin! We stayed in Bear Cabin, a charming two-bedroom, one-bath retreat that was every bit as cozy and inviting as we had hoped. The generously sized, well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the comfortable sitting area, complete with a gas fireplace and a large picture window overlooking the lake, made staying in feel like a treat rather than a compromise. There is something pretty special about watching the rain fall over an Adirondack lake from the warmth of a cozy cabin. What made the experience even better were our hosts, Leo and Claudia. From the very beginning, their communication was excellent, and they made it clear that they were readily available should we need anything. Their genuine hospitality and attention to their guests’ comfort were evident throughout our stay. It’s clear that they truly care about creating a wonderful experience for everyone who visits. We’ve already recommended the cabins to friends, and there’s no question we’ll be returning ourselves. Rain or shine, this is a little Adirondack gem worth revisiting!
