I will give you the pros and cons so you’ll understand why I gave Surfside L8 a 3 star.Pros: AC unit is ice cold. Nice to be able to sleep and sleep in a comfortable temperature . The mattress is so soft and comfortable. I want to go home and buy one just like it. They do have covered parking for the guests as well as the owners. Location is directly across the street from the beach. Two beach chairs and an umbrella were included in the Rental. Cons: This unit is no bigger than a Hotel room. It has a small area of two upper cabinets and lower cabinets with a sink, a mini fridge and a 2 burner stove top unit and a microwave above it. There are two coffee pots and one is a Keurig. The shower and toilet are in a separate room with the door, but the bathroom sink is on the wall when you first walk-through the unit door. Strange setup. This is an older unit that has not been updated, and needed a deep clean. It had only been surface cleaned. The location is extremely noisy because it is close to an automatic closing door that leads to the tennis court. The slamming of that door can be heard till late in the evening. This unit is on what they consider the first floor, which is one flight of stairs up. It has two elevators and they’re always a long wait for them, so we had to use the stairs a lot. Honest suggestion is if you get a good deal on it, and you know what you’re getting into, then go for it. Otherwise, you may be able to find better.
