Great Location

We love staying here because of the peace and quiet, grocery store next door, not far from Thomas Donuts, and right on the beach. This place has its own pool so don’t worry about sharks! We’ve stayed here more than once because we loved it!!

Awesome 2 Day Trip

This was an awesome condo! Super clean and great location! Just past all the crowds but close enough if we wanted to go closer in to PCB. The little grocery store next door was very convenient. There was a clogged sink upstairs that drained very slow but other than that it was perfect! Might note there is no elevator and it’s on the third floor but we didn’t have any issues with that. Would definitely stay again!

Property not up to standards

Property furnishings are terrible. Couch is so uncomfortable, sounds like it is going to collapse when you sit on it. Ceiling had dirt hanging from it. King size bed upstairs is like sleeping in a crater. Upstairs baths towels were musty and bottom of the stack were wet. Location is great but until the owners update I would not recommend it for a stay.WiFi was also out for the majority of the time.Property manager did work with us for issues that we had.

3001 Emerald Shores

Overall it was ok, great location for the beach and really nice people at grocery store right next door with in walking distance. We had issues with washer and dryer not working all week. April the property manager took good care of us even though they couldn’t get it working. Very nice people to work with. She brought us up more towels and rags to use. Only other thing, it was a bit tough going up and down all the stairs with luggage.

Room was dirty when arrived and had to call to have cleaned. The building is run down and needs repairs. Down stairs bed was noisy due to springs and not comfy. It was fine but not great. Like that the floors are not carpeted. Beach was convenient, pool and grocery.

Last minute cancellation

Well the 3 options they gave us after last minute cancellation was not the type of property I like but I had no choice I had plan this for months. It was actually Vacasa I believe I might have spelled it wrong . I went through the VRBO site but was Handled by Vacasa I even messaged owner to make sure it was available and they said yes but the building was under some renovation and didn't pass inspection it was I understand.. So it was cancelled on the same day that we were supposed to leave you can imagine my frustration.

Great location, unit needs some TLC

The property need some cleaning and maintenance. The front metal screen door is hanging on by a thread and the wind blew It constantly all night , slamming it into the front door and the railing...loudly. The front door was all marked up and could use a bolt lock from inside . There is a sign that says to remove your shoes, big mistake, socks and feet were filthy within minutes, needless to say, shoes were a must at all times. The door to the washer and dryer was completely off track , and if husband hadn't struggled to get it open, we wouldn't had been able to use it all. There was a nasty water bottle on the balcony filled with cigarette butts. Oddly there was blue taped squares on multiple places on the wall. We could not get the microwave to heat up anything , it was making noise, but not cooking. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes well,, alf of them they had to be washed by hand before placing back into cabinet. The wifi password only took us to a sign in for the WOW account that we had no information for -- so internet was a no go entire stay. The pillows are paper thin and definitely suggest bringing some with you. We went and purchased a few to get us through. The location is convenient and beautiful, the atmosphere was comfortable. The grocery store next door was nice. Just needs some deep cleaning and maintenance. It was rainy , so we brought games and enjoyed looking out to the ocean, but enjoyed the stay.

Great condo with wonderful view

We stayed a week at this property and it is very laid back three story condo's with 21 units. We are in our fifties and most of the people here were older than us. It was a quiet neighborhood with a wonderful store next door (Carousel) that is a grocery store, gift store and has a wonderful wine selection. The pool was very clean and the ocean was somewhat of a walk across the road and through the dunes. We enjoyed both areas and would stay here again. The building is showing it's age but speaking to the manager they are improving it slowly. They just got in new pool furniture before we left. It is also just about a mile to back beach road and that was nice to be able to go other places on the expressway.

Laguna beach

The place is nice. It is what a lot of reviews mention as out dated. The pool was clean but we were not allowed access to the pool. Everyone else had personal keys to the bathroom but we did not. The rocks in the bath room are terrible. This room is also up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator which was fine for us but would be hard for some people. The place is also close to a busy road and at times can be a little loud. The conveniences of it is nice. Super short walk to the beach. The king bed is upstairs and this room is a open room with no privacy. The room was clean. I agree that the bathroom floor needs redoing desperately, and the outside balcony needs more comfortable chairs and a table. We also lost power due to the road being busy and an accident occurring. I tried to call VRBO but was unable to get in touch. We were without power for about 6 hours

Condo is in a great location. Surprised that hand soap was not part of the homes amenities. This home could use some TLC, as one of the kitchen drawers would not open, and the lazy Susan would not open all the way. Appearance is key, and would suggest swapping out the rusted toilet paper holder with a new one.

Not so great

This rental felt like it was furnished with garage sale items. The quality of the finish work was less than I expected from a condo rental. Cleanliness OK, supplies in the home OK. We had to call and get washcloths brought to us because we didn’t have any at check-in time. The best thing about the rental was the balcony and having the grocery store next-door. Also I did not receive the service fee from the rental I had before this one, that I was promised, $128.00

The only thing we didn’t like was the rocks in the floor of the loft bathroom but that wouldn’t stop us from coming back.

Overall a great time and not bad

There were fruit snacks and chips under our bed, the floors made our feet black, the sliding door wouldn’t lock, front screen door wouldn’t shut, we were told there were “quiet hours” but that must not apply to everyone there, there are urine stains on upstairs bedroom mattress pad. Our over all stay was great. Great location with store next door and quieter end of PCB. Was kept up to date about reservation and checking in. Once I tried to contact someone with the issues no one would return my call text or email.

Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay at this property. Had amazing views of the beach and is literally just a two lane roadway away from walking on the white sand beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. A small grocery store next door was also very convenient for picking up anything needed.

Emerald Shores Peaceful and Quite

Let’s get the bad out of the way first. Pool and pool area are filthy. Pool is full of bugs, sand, dirt and hair. The pool was never cleaned during our 4 day stay. Pool bathrooms are out of order. The condo building needs extensive cleaning. People can smoke on the property. There is even a trash can dedicated for cigarette butts. No elevator. Makes it rough with toddlers, luggage, beach stuff and groceries. Pillows provided were unusable. Badly stained. Had to buy our own pillows. Upstairs bathroom the toilet seat is broken. Street light shines directly into the loft bedroom. The front door and screen need replaced badly. Coffee table is dangerous. Metal pieces stick out that will cut you. I know this because it gashed my leg. The good. Quite and peaceful. Easy access to the beach. Great unit if it is for a couple or two couples. No traffic backing up. Updated appliances. The biggest letdown was the pool. The gulf was closed because of the hurricane and because of the filthy pool we had nowhere to swim with our kids. Plus the smoking. That’s a big turnoff!
