The Space:

Sterling Shores is under renovations for a beautification project. You may see minor construction. Enjoy incredible views of the Gulf and beach from your private and furnished patio at Sterling Shores Resort! Cook something delicious in the fully-equipped kitchen and have your meals al fresco on the balcony or maybe dine nearby at one of many fantastic local restaurants. Take advantage of the shared swimming pools, fitness center, and community grill area. Not that hungry? Check out the seasonal poolside snack shack to fill up on goodies. Everyone will love their time at Sterling Shores! What’s nearby: Sterling Shores is located just off Highway 98 and is just a short walk to many beach dining experiences such as The Pancakery and The Back Porch. If you’re looking to fill your fridge or pick up some supplies, Sterling Shores is just down the road from many popular retailers such as Target, Whole Foods, and Walmart. Looking to hit the Links? Check out the fabulous Indian Bayou Golf & Country club.
THINGS TO KNOW
Full kitchen w/dishwasher Free WiFi Parking on-site (Parking Passes included), Non-smoking property. Please be advised that a roof replacement project is currently underway at Sterling Shores, with an anticipated completion date by the end of September 2026, and a walkway project through December 2026. Construction activity will occur Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the possibility of Sunday work if weather delays are encountered. During morning hours (7:00 AM to approximately noon), guests may experience sawing and scraping noise, most notably in penthouse units. Afternoon work is expected to be considerably quieter. For the floor project, you may deal with noise, dust, and grinding sound. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as this necessary improvement is completed, and we regret any inconvenience this may cause during your stay.

This property was clean and comfortable. it is close to the beach and many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family friendly location

Perfect for our family with 2 teens. Plenty of room and location and views were amazing. We did rent a car to get to the Harbour walk and a few other activities. Elevator was never busy and beach access was easy.

Beautiful view

We have stayed at Sterling Shores several times. The grounds are beautiful compared to other places I have seen. The condo was just as shown on the pictures. We had plenty of room for everything, the place was nicely decorated and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a great view of the ocean!

Great Get-Away

The condo at Sterling Shores was centrally located and provided great access during our stay. The condo itself was clean and in excellent shape. The gulf view was unmatched. The staff at Sterling Shores was very helpful. We had to check in after hours and they followed up with a courtesy call the next morning to make sure we did not have any problems with the process. We will definetly return to Sterling Shores!

Good spot

Locale was great overall. Easy walk across property to beach. Room was clean, great view. Only complaint is beyond the properties control is in later afternoon and evening, going anywhere was difficult and traffic could be crushing. Expect 2-3 times the expected time to drive to other locations.

Renting was online easy all info was emailed to me. Some items needed was not mentioned up front. Only after we were on our way. Great view of swimming pool and beach! But, it was very out dated.

I was forced (with 15 minutes notice) to move my stuff into the lobby as no other units were available. Then moved to another unit the next evening which was not as nice. Then, forced to move again a few days after that to a unit that was half the size.No balcony access after day 1. Couldn't see out the window from the constuction mess. At notice they were draining the pool, I left Sterling Shores so that I could find a place to enjoy what was left of my vacation.

Beautiful Property and Condo

Condo was beautiful, pictures do not do it justice. The property was very nice and well kept. Communication with property manager was good, check in process was seamless. Parking was easy and abundant, the gate to enter would sometimes get “stuck” but the security staff were always helpful. The pool area was well maintained and quick access to the beach was amazing. There was some mold growing in the master bathroom shower but that is a common issue. Hot tub was a nice bonus, the jets were very strong and also were pointed upward (perhaps during cleaning) which led to a quick startle but was no big deal so check them before turning it on LOL. The patio door did not lock easily and the picture on the wall to the side of the fridge was not in a great space given the fridge handles but we tied a towel to the fridge to prevent any damage to the picture. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Awesome!

We just returned from our stay at Sterling Shores in Destin. We had a wonderful time! We were looking for something that would allow us to stay for four nights instead of seven, which was a little challenging, so we feel lucky to have found this condo. The location is awesome and the view is picturesque! While the condo itself was a little dated and could have been cleaned a little better (fuzzies under beds and in closets, and food crumbs under the sleeper sofa for example), it was still great. One thing I would recommend from management is letting guests know in the listing (or a week ahead of time) that a start up set of toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher pellet, laundry detergent, etc. is provided. This may just help guests to know what to pack and not have to go buy. Also, I would suggest texting or emailing or include in the listing or even in the condo, what is needed before checking out. It was fine, I called the day before to see what we had to do (take out trash only, did not have to wash towels or strip bedding), so it was super easy, but that is something that could easily be avoided. Overall, we had an AMAZING time on our stay! We highly recommend it!
