A great vacation

This was our second time to stay at Sterling Shores. The location is perfect. Close to the beach and restaurants. We all enjoyed our stay.

Destin condo perfect location

Really enjoyed the convenience of the location and a simple walk across the street to the beach was perfect. Both bedrooms with their own bathroom worked out very well and the view every morning was nice to See. Would definitely rent this condo again.

We enjoyed this condo during our stay. The condo was well equipped in the kitchen and bathrooms. We found the condo very clean upon arrival. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever had in a rental. One thing is the dryer wouldn’t dry our laundry. We had to run it 3 times to get clothes to fully dry. But that wouldn’t stop us from staying here again.

Great condo. Perfect location. Beds are super comfy. Will definitely stay here again. The only negative is the clothes dryer
it’s pretty old. It takes several rounds to get clothes dry.

Our condo was great but all the construction going was annoying. I wish we would have known about but no where were we made aware of it. It should have been in listing or an email making us aware of this. I had even messaged with owner twice and it was not mentioned either. I realize the construction was necessary I just feel we should have been told especially since it was our floor and right outside our door.

Fishing Trip

Home was spacious and clean and updated decorating Beds were VERY comfortable and none of us had issues sleeping. We enjoyed the covered porch is was just as spacious as interior. We didn't cook but kitchen was well Stocked. We would recommend rental and Would book there again

Awesome Resort and condo

This is our 6th time being in Destin and loved staying at Sterling shores. Great pool for kids and easy access to beach. Very nice and clean grounds. Only thing I would suggest is to have a few more dish towels and couldn’t find any pot holders, which really wasn’t a big deal just used a towel!! We will book this place again!

A great stay!

This was my 6th visit to the Sterling Shores property and my 1st time staying in this condo. The size was great for 4 people and the unit was very clean. Very nice view of the water from the balcony. We will be booking with this unit again in 2025. This unit is directly in front of the elevator which makes loading and unloading convenient. You won't hear the elevator at all from inside.

Beautiful view

I booked a last minutes weekend getaway for myself, 12 yr old son and husband. We just wanted to relax and we did just that. The view was absolutely beautiful. The beach and restaurant with delicious food was within walking distance. I loved the balcony because I could enter it from my bedroom or the front room. The place was very spacious, clean and neat. I would love to stay here again!

It was good.

I always take my own cleaning products and wipe everything down before my family and I get settled on every trip. While this place looked clean to the naked eye, the master bathroom smelled like urine whenever I approached the toilet. It looked clean. Didn’t smell clean. Even after I cleaned the toilet I still smelled urine so it could have been the floor surrounding the toilet which made me question the actual cleanliness of the entire space. There was a tapping noise in the ceiling or walls every night once it was time to go to sleep. Although it did not keep my family from being able to sleep it was a bit odd. Outside of that everything was awesome. Perfect location. Well stocked with everything we need. Check in and check out process was a breeze. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

Overall ok. Just a few things that need improvement.

We enjoyed the condo. Just a couple of things could have really improved our stay. Basically all appliances seriously need upgrading. The televisions were not smart TVs and the remote didn’t work a lot in the den. All TVs need to be upgraded. The coffee maker was outdated and didn’t turn off automatically. And the iron leaked and needed to be replaced. Just overall the condo needs updating.

Wonderful property

Clean and nicely decorated condo. They had detail to the little extras you would need. Guest bedroom could use curtain to block outside light and mattress could be better. Overall comfortable couches chair and outside balcony furniture.

Very nice property

This property was very clean. Since we had 2 couples staying there, we enjoyed having both bedrooms with king size beds. There was plenty of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels that lasted our 4 night stay- although we did buy more because of the previous comments. 2 small dish cloths are provided (and a new sponge) but a larger kitchen hand towel or 2 would have been appreciated. A starter pack of coffee and filter would have been appreciated. No coffee or filters were provided. Although clean, there are some areas that could be updated with fresher furnishings. Our only real complaint was the strict check in time. Our flight arrived at 10am and even though no one was in our room the night before and it was clean & ready, we could not get access to our unit until 3.30. An email to the management to request earlier access was unanswered. Not sure how letting us in earlier could’ve hurt. We had a bit of a hard time finding the garbage chute as the instructions posted on the fridge are not accurate and the Parking pass info is outdated. Overall, we had a great stay in #609 The view is fabulous and we really enjoyed going to The Back Porch often. It is pricy but portions are huge and the food is good quality.

Always love Sterling Shores

We’ve stayed at Sterling Shores for many years when visiting Destin. I love that it has 2 separate pools, close to the beach, close to Back Porch, nice balcony for relaxing and feels like home. This specific unit had beach service (chairs and umbrella) included which was great. I highly recommend Sterling Shores to people visiting Destin. Very clean and well maintained.
