Urban Stay By The Bay: Downtown Pet-Friendly Home
Bedroom 1: Two Queen Bunk Beds (4 Queen Beds Total) | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Bedroom 3: Twin Bunk Bed
This newly renovated space has multiple gathering areas for your large group to enjoy dining inside or out. There is custom built banquette seating and an updated dining area right next to the unique efficiency-style kitchen, which provides a stovetop and convection style microwave. The living room features a large stylish couch with multiple chairs for friends and family to relax for a movie night in front of the mounted big screen TV. Rounding out the first floor of the house, is an updated half bathroom and laundry room, which also includes a full size refrigerator to store all of your groceries and other supplies!

Upstairs you will find three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The largest room has two sets of custom built in queen bunk beds, so four total queen beds, along with an open closet area and mirror where you can get ready for nights out on the town. The other two bedrooms hold a set of twin bunk beds and a queen bed. There are two full bathrooms upstairs which allows all guests with large parties plenty of space and time to get ready at your leisure.

Outside there is space for parking (maximum 4 cars) a gas grill and a patio area for any barbecuing, gaming, or lounging you, your friends, or family would like to do! Whether you stay put and enjoy the water views or head over to the beaches only a few feet away, we welcome you to make our home your home.

Great location & family friendly

The property was clean, the check in process was easy and you can not beat the location. The beach is across the street and it's close to the TART trail. We really enjoyed our stay.

This house was perfect for our two families. The location was great! It was walkable to Front Street and we could see the bay right out the front window. We had a great time and would definitely go back!

Worked out perfect for us

This house had to fit into a very compact and irregular piece of property in downtown TC and my compliments to the architect. The inner and outer spaces are not large but they are very efficient and worked out just fine for a family of 7 in town for a wedding weekend. Excellent location.

Lovely clean home

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, clean home. The only bummer was half of the lights over the patio were burnt out. There also is no oven which I didn’t realize when I booked the stay, but we used the grill and it was great. Loved the location, quick 10ish minute walk downtown and right across the main road from the beach.

Gorgeous home

This home is absolutely stunning, comfortable, and has a great flow for 10+ people. The decor is both fun and elegant, and the beds were comfy. I wish one of the sofabeds was a bit larger, but other than that, it was a wonderful stay in a PERFECT location.

We had an amazing stay, the location was great and the house was clean

The location of this house is perfect. The kitchen is smaller but with the location you have so many options to enjoy the local restaurants. Although the living space is a bit smaller we all had plenty of space to sit on the couch and have conversation. Overall, the house and location was perfect! The management team was amazing and checked in to see if we needed anything. They were great!

Bachelorette weekend

We had 11 WOMEN staying this weekend and the house was very accommodating and roomy. The location was great and it would have been nice if the weather was warmer we would have gone across the street to the water. The house was clean and we all had a great time!

Husband's 50th

We spent 3 days and 2 nights to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. The first thing I noticed was the fresh smell of the home. The accommodations where fabulous, the location very convenient for downtown Traverse City and we had a shuttle bus pick us up for a wine tour. The view of the Bay is spectacular, we got a great picture of a beautiful sunrise.

Great location, cute property and dog friendly

The house was perfect for us and the dog. There was a dog bowl and water bowl on the floor and even a treat dispenser. Our spring trip was chilly but the house had great heating and lots of blankets in each of the rooms. Excellent check in and local information provided by host which made arriving a breeze. Only item that could be improved is the TV - PlutoTV kept cutting out every 30 seconds. All in all it was a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!!

Family Wedding Weekend

We loved the location. It is within walking distance to downtown restaurants, a short drive to the peninsula Vineyards, and a short drive to the scenic drive for the sand dunes. You can easily walk across the street to a small beach and sand volleyball courts. The two living rooms were great for family conversations and/or TV. The queen beds were comfortable, the bunk beds seem to be slightly shorter than a twin bed, and the foldout couch could use a little more padding. It has lots of fridge space and a wonderful bakery (Bay Bread Company) around the corner.

Great Property- Terrible VRBO experience.

The property was in a great location and fit seven of us comfortably. The property even had an apple TV which was great to cast our games to the big screen. The VRBO experience was less than desirable. My credit card was charged a higher price than the total that was presented as including all fees and taxes. The listing said 100% cancelable within 30 days- but they would not allow me to cancel even a day later. I will not book through VRBO again- but definitely would stay at this property in the future.

Winter stay

Overall, this was a good place for our group to spend time together over the holiday. Awesome location and accessible to many great places. The listing was a bit deceiving in the bunk bed room- it's not really a room, it's more of a small closet with no windows. It would have been nice to have shades over that circle window in the double bed room- with small kids who take naps, it was super bright in there without shades. The kitchen layout is a bit tight with a group of 9 but we made it work. It would be helpful to include coat hooks or purse hooks somewhere near the side door or laundry room, we didn't have anywhere to hang our winter gear. We were there during an ice storm the day before and the sidewalks and entire side of the house were a sheet of ice, you should leave bags of salt there in the winter for guests to de-ice.

Quick trip

Myself and family (12 total) really enjoyed the property. The way the house is set up you don't feel cramped. It is across from the beach. In pleasant weather it is a nice bike/walk from downtown traverse. I enjoyed the personal touches (body wash, shampoo, hand soap, dish detergent). Even though I came prepared with these items, it was a pleasant surprise. They even offered bug spray and Lysol!!. Cleanliness was no issue. Ample supply of wash rags, towels, pillows and blankets. No one complained about the mattresses. There was pre-existing damage to the ceiling light in the front room. It still worked. Parking could be an issue as the 2 parking spots up front might get taken by beach goers as there is no sign reserving for the house. I really think they thought of everything. Would definitely stay again

DIRTY (READ TO THE BOTTOM, U WILL DIE laughing GREAT location

The home is located in a great area. The living room is TINY but it will work. The home is designed nice with decent furnishings. My issue is with the mgmt team and the cleaning folks - first pay attention to your booking charges AND CLEANING FEE, IT IS STEEP. We were going up north with our family for a couple days relaxing on the beach
 low-key, just our family. We drove almost 4 hours up north with a check-in time of 4pm. We had our two grandsons with us (newborn & 3) we NEVER got any check-in instructions from the mgmt team with our door code. So I called VRBO & asked for help
 I spent 2 hours on the drive on the cell trying to get our code and started to panic, I messaged the mgr through the app too, finally she replied through the app & gave me the code. But that is NOT a fun way to start a vacation
 AND the VRBO folks could not reach them on the two numbers they had. Not knowing if you can get into a property when you arrive is super stressful and agonizing. The home was FILTHY, and with a HUGE cleaning fee that is charged I didn’t expect that!!! Everything is super dusty
 doors all have dirty hand prints which is gross! No screens on the windows so you can open them for fresh air. There was blood spots on the sheets in the bedroom with two beds and the towels provided are all stained. PLUS I found someone’s high heeled shoe (one) under the bed, guess they don’t clean/look there either. They left us one 1/2 used roll of paper towels :( I had bleach wipes in my car so I went around and wiped the handles of doors and things I saw. The absolutely RIDICULOUS PART IS COMING
 so on the night BEFORE check-out
 I received a message through the app from the mgmt company saying: I hope you had a good time on your stay
 while checking out can YOU DO THE FOLLOWING: 1) strip the beds 2) load the dishwasher 3) take out the trash 4) sweep the home But wait
 you will pay a ginormous cleaning fee for a tiny bungalow home and then YOU DO THE WORK?!? WOW & I have screenshots of that text from the mgmt company :( It is crazy!!! We will always take the trash out, that is super reasonable because who knows when they will get there to clean, but the rest of it ain’t happening :( This was our experience with this home. I wish rather than giving us a weighted blanket (which is awesome but went unused) I wish they would add screens to the home so we could open a window, OR clean the spiders and stuff off so we can look out at the view.
