Welcome to Mocking Bird Cottage in Downtown Twain Harte. With three cozy bedrooms featuring a King, Queen, and twin bed, guests find plenty of space to relax. Two bathrooms / Showers making it easy to refresh after a day of adventure. This excellent cottage creates a perfect home base for your getaway. Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is 35 minutes away.

Enjoy a BBQ or morning coffee on the spacious deck. The main living space includes a pull-out sofa bed, plenty of seating and a gas burning fire place.

In the kitchen you will find all the conveniences of home with cook ware, complimentary coffee, even some complimentary drinks.

The Master bedroom has 2 large barn doors for privacy as well as a wood burning stove for extra warmth. Complete with a private full bathroom and private entrance to master bedroom from outside.

Guest bedroom one has a full bathroom with tub, plenty of closet space and a space heater for additional warmth in winter months.

The loft is complete with 2 twin beds and 2 additional trundle beds that slide out from beneath the twins. There are plenty of blankets and linen available. Games and a TV included in loft for the kiddos!
Mockingbird is a spacious yet cozy cottage complete with an optional Twain Harte lake visitor pass with stay at Mockingbird, The lake is open beginning Memorial Day and Labor Day. Ask us about this, we can register your group to enjoy! Visit the Twain Harte website!

Swimming, sunbathing on a groomed sandy beach, snack shack and water slides! Fishing available for kids 16 and under. Lake is stocked.

We have provided 1 complimentary paddle board to use, and a number of floating toys for enjoying the lake, they are located in the shed behind the house.

If you love golf like I do and want to sneak in a quick 9 holes, the Twain Harte lake course is well groomed and fun for all ages. We have provided you with 2 sets of complimentary golf clubs to use.

Twain Harte community also has pickle ball and tennis courts, Find these complimentary items also in the shed!

As with anything, we ask that you return all complimentary items back to the shed prior to check out.

The location was great! About a 5 minute walk to mini-golf, 5 minute drive to the grocery store, and best of all, a 5 minute drive to Twain Harte Lake! The hosts were helpful and accommodating. They offered us the use of their stand-up paddle board, beach chairs and flotation toys. We had a wonderful time there and would be happy to stay again!

Had a great time with my husband and 2 boys. Location is close to downtown and there are nice restaurants. Due to this it can get loud at times since you can hear the music and people at the restaurant. The deck is fully fenced which is great for the fur baby. Nice table outside for morning coffee. Fire pit was a nice touch but didn't use it. Shed was stocked with chairs, floaties, even a paddle board, umbrella, etc. Everything you need for a day at the lake!King bed in master bedroom was comfortable. The master bedroom is large with plenty of space. The bathroom connected to the master bedroom is VERY small though. There were plenty of towels. Second room has a queen bed and my nephew said it was comfortable. The second bathroom has a shower and bathtub. Much bigger then the other bathroom. My other nephew slept up the stairs in the loft area. Said it was a little hot, but he liked it! Kitchen is stocked with everything! Drip coffee maker and grinder for fresh beans. The owners even included 2 bags of coffee! Living room has a nice TV and all streaming services. Fireplace but didn't use it. Lazy Boy chair, 2 seater couch with pull out bed were all comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone. We did have a visit from a bat one night. He was flying around the living room. Opened the door and he eventually flew out but that was fun lol! Reminded me of the movie "The Great Outdoors." Overall had a great time and would stay again
