The house was beautiful, very spacious, with a large backyard and all the amenities we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable throughout our visit.
If you are traveling with pets this is a great location. large fenced yard, deck with seating. This is a gem in progress with just a few more amenities this would be a five star property. Also, all beds were very comfortable for us humans,
The owners were very nice. They were still cleaning when we go there, a previous guest had left a big mess so not a big deal. The house itself was in a good location, but is in need of some repairs. Holes in the walls in the master bathroom where things were taken down. Also, repaired walls that needed to be finished as well as the bathroom light being held up by tape and a handful of light bulbs that needed replacing.
The property was nice! I would definitely recommend the property. I was concerned about the rental before we had even arrived as I messaged the host multiple times to see if we could rent the property for additional days before our initial arrival. I never received a response for two weeks. The day of the check in, the host, Aaron, in the evening, inquired if we could delay our check in by an hour as they were still cleaning and that they would extend the check out. Not impressed at all. WeI had to ask for a code for entry to the property before our arrival. Not impressed, as that normally comes from the notification via the app/website and it was text directly to the associated phone number. Then we took our time, as we were saying our goodbyes to our soldier for the day, and arrived after 6 pm. The host and his wife were still there cleaning. We were exhausted by this point and just wanted to shower and go to sleep and not deal with cleaning people. just awkward that they would want to be there when their guests arrive. I was concerned that the cleaning took so long as they were not ready after 6 pm when we arrived. Let me make it very known, that the home was NOT a horrible mess or anything of that nature, upon our arrival.
Upon arriving at the property, I was required to wait approximately 15 minutes before gaining access to the home. After entering, I immediately noticed the property was not in suitable condition for occupancy or professional use. I contacted the homeowner through the app to inquire about the condition of the home, and they explained there had been an emergency which prevented them from cleaning after the previous booking. They stated they would come to the property shortly to clean.Unfortunately, this created a significant issue because the reservation was specifically booked for business purposes, as I was conducting training for new employees of my company. Due to the condition of the property, I was forced to cancel the scheduled training session, resulting in a loss of valuable business time. The home was clearly not prepared for guests. Bed coverings and linens were left scattered on the living room floor, there was a sink full of dirty dishes, the floors appeared unclean and unmopped, and the bathroom toilet seat was not properly attached to the toilet. Approximately an hour later, the homeowner entered through the garage and attempted to explain that they could clean the property while we remained there. This was highly unprofessional, as it would have required us to remain in the property during our reserved time while the home was being cleaned. My team and I offered to clean the property ourselves if the homeowner agreed to refund our payment, since we would eff
