Weâre longtime Seattle locals who deeply love the Pacific Northwest and everything it offers. As a family, youâll often find us exploring nearby trails with our two boys and our dog, always searching for that perfect, quiet path where we can slow down, unplug, and enjoy the outdoors together.
Hosting gives us the opportunity to share a place that means a lot to us. This neighborhood has a calm, grounded beauty thatâs hard to find, and we feel incredibly fortunate to open our home to guests who want to experience that same sense of peace and connection during their stay.

What drew us hereâand continues to make it specialâis the balance of serenity and access. The neighborhood is surrounded by towering Douglas firs, peaceful streets, and west-facing skies that deliver incredible sunsets.
One of our favorite daily rituals is stepping right out into the Kirkland Cross Corridor Trail, which is directly accessible from the backyard. Itâs perfect for morning walks, evening strolls, or letting kids and dogs stretch their legs.
At the same time, weâre just a short drive from everything: Seattle, Capitol Hill, Queen Anne, Ballard, Bellevue, Redmond, and Woodinville are all within about 20 minutes. Whether itâs restaurants, wineries, live sports, or family-friendly activities, youâre close to it all while still enjoying a quiet retreat.
