We all Enjoyed our Relaxing stay at this house ! It is more than a property! The house was so very clean, warm and welcoming from the very start ! The beds and furniture are very comfortable and a wonderful respite at the end of the day !! We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen along with all the roomy eating areas. The décor was welcoming and warm- with a splash of Lake Life energy!! I loved that the yard provided a nice stroll to the pier- which it self had nice furnishings as well ! Front porch needs a step to get up to front door - I walk with a cane - so that would have been helpful for me ! Thank you for having this house as a VRBO rental!

We loved our stay. We have a large family. Each couple had their own room and bathroom which was great. The kitchen was well supplied. House was clean. My adult sons loved that they could bring their dogs. The house is much larger inside than it looks on the outside. It also has many huge TV’s and lots of areas to hang out!

This house was great for our family of 8 adults. It was clean and a great layout. Plenty of space to spread out, but also great spaces to gather. The sun porch was a favorite spot and we enjoyed having the kayaks and paddleboards to use. It's in a quiet cove, but easy access to main lake area. Would definitely come again!

Great Home

House had tons of space, well appointed with towels blankets dishes tvs etc and great dock on the lake. It’s a couple minutes to restaurants and stores while some restaurants are closed for the season but there is a great kitchen. We did some hiking at the nearby state park, shopping in town and was able to rent a boat, same day, to check out how the other half lives by coasting along the waterfront. I would definitely comeback to this location and house!

Great house and amenities. But HVAC could not keep up during the daytime. Locked at 72 degrees during the day, but inside was 75-77 until sundown, when it slowly cooled off.Great support staff. . . came out immediately when issues reported.

Yellow Fellow stay

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. A few comments: Lots of bugs in the downstairs. AC could not keep up with the heat. It was 75-78 upstairs most nights. Bathroom exhaust fans need to be cleaned.

Nice secluded cove, which after experiencing SML is where you want to be, main bodies of water too rough for relaxing swims. My wife, two college kids and our Labs had an absolute blast! One little complaint was we had to wear shoes to walk to the dock- carolina horse nettle is tough on my old man feet. Either way, hope to be back next year!

Great location

We had a great time. This house had plenty of room to spread out as a family and the kitchen was fully stocked. The area is in a quiet cove and the yard was great for the kids to play. My negative would be there is not enough wash cloths for the entire stay or at least for a few days use. When I called to request more I was told there is a washing machine there so we could wash them. This would have required us to wash and dry everyday. Each room had 2 bundles on the bed (bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth) and that was it. Also, if I could suggest maybe having a crib or some toys for kids to play with. It was advertised as children welcomed. Other than that I would recommend this place and probably would return.

Hello Lisa, thanks for sharing your experience with us; we appreciate your honest feedback. We're glad to hear you had a great time and enjoyed the spacious home, fully stocked kitchen, and quiet yard for the kids to play. I understand how having more washcloths available would have made your stay more comfortable, however, we only stocked the homes for a few washcloths. I’m truly sorry that we didn’t meet your expectations this time. We’d love the opportunity to host you again and provide a much better experience in the future.

4th of July Fun at the Lake

The house was clean and had plenty of room for a large group. It was well equipped with many rooms to sleep in and couches for lounging and watching tv; although only streaming services were available. The kitchen could have been better stocked with supplies like cutting boards, sharp knives, whisks etc. The upstairs seemed to stay pretty hot. We lowered the temperature on the thermostat to 68 but the upstairs never was able to reach that temperature. The dock had plenty of space for all our guests. We enjoyed that it was partially covered and equipped with a ceiling fan those who wanted a break from the sun. There were a lot floats available for use as well as the kayaks and paddle boards. Use of the storage closet on the deck was a big help since we typically bring our on floats, wake boards etc. We were able to put things away quickly and secure them in the closet before storms came. The biggest issue we struggled with at the dock was the dock height off the lake. This could have somewhat been because the water level was a little lower than normal but the dock height was a little higher than the side of our pontoon. It made it very tricky for older folks in our group to get on and off the boat. Many of us would step up onto the front seat of the pontoon to climb out of the boat onto the deck. There were ladders on the side of the deck but for older folks they were tough to climb because the rungs were very narrow. Great location on the lake and overall, a great trip!
