Fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and individual split units in every room for personalized temperature year-round.

While this is a self-check-in home and we are not on-site at arrival, we are always nearby and available throughout your stay if anything comes up.

White Lake and nearby Kauneonga Lake are known for their peaceful waterfront setting and classic Catskills charm. The area offers a mix of quiet relaxation and easy access to local spots, with calm lake views, fresh air, and a slower pace that makes it easy to unwind.

Kauneonga Lake, just a short drive away, has a small but lively main strip with restaurants, bars, and seasonal events right along the water. White Lake itself is more laid-back and scenic, perfect for enjoying nature, morning walks, and time by the lake.

The home is located along Route 17B, where the speed limit is 40 mph. As a result, there can be steady traffic at times, especially on concert nights at the nearby Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. While the property is set back and privately fenced, guests should expect that some road noise may be heard from inside the home.

Whether you're looking to relax or explore a bit, the area strikes a great balance between tranquility and convenience.

Guests will have full access to the home and property during their stay, including all indoor living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, deck, and outdoor areas by the lake.

The only areas not accessible are the garage and basement, which are reserved for owner use.

Otherwise, the property is yours to enjoy.

This light-filled lakefront home is designed to feel open, easy, and instantly relaxing. With large windows throughout, natural light pours into every corner of the house, while peaceful views of White Lake can be enjoyed from nearly every room.

The layout is ideal for both groups and families, offering three private ensuite bedrooms so everyone has their own space to unwind. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, recently updated with clean, modern finishes. One of the ensuite bedrooms is located on the main floor, making it a great option for guests who prefer to avoid stairs. There is also a half bathroom on the main level for added convenience.

For families traveling with little ones, the home includes a dedicated kids room with a crib, making it easy to settle in without overpacking.

The main living area is open and inviting, connecting seamlessly to the kitchen and dining space. Just off the living room and kitchen, you’ll find a spacious deck overlooking the lake, perfect for outdoor dining, morning coffee, or simply taking in the fresh air. Down by the water, a stone fire pit creates the perfect setting for evenings by the lake.

Inside, the living room features an electric fireplace that adds a warm and cozy atmosphere no matter the season. A PlayStation, books, and comfortable seating make it easy to relax after a day outdoors. Two of the bedrooms are also equipped with TVs for added convenience.

For those working remotely, the home includes two dedicated desk spaces, offering a comfortable setup for getting work done while still enjoying the surroundings.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and gathering, and is stocked with essentials such as coffee, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make your stay that much easier.

A washer and dryer are available on-site, making longer stays simple and manageable.

Each room is equipped with its own split unit, allowing guests to control the temperature to their preference in both summer and winter.

Outside, a tall fence provides added privacy from the road, helping create a quiet and tucked-away feel while still being easily accessible.

We recommend having your own vehicle for getting around, as the area is rural and local transportation options can be limited.

There is a daily bus service from New York City to Monticello, which is about a short drive from the home. From there, guests will need to arrange a car service to reach the property.

Rideshare availability such as Uber can be inconsistent in the area, especially during evenings and peak times. For a more reliable option, we recommend booking with Upstate D-Tours, a local car service familiar with the area.

• The property is lakefront. Swimming and use of the water are at your own risk. Please supervise children at all times and use caution near the water and fire pit.

• The home is not childproofed. While we welcome families, guests are responsible for supervising children at all times.

• As with most homes in the area, you may encounter wildlife and insects, especially during warmer months.

• No parties or events. Please be respectful of the home and surrounding area.
