Spacious accommodations in a quiet neighborhood. Great for families. The heated pool was terrific and the hosts were very accommodating, they brought the water temperature up a few degrees because the weather was a little cooler than we had expected. Please contact us again before your next visit and we'll provide a discount that reflects our appreciation! The retro look the house has is fully intentional. It's a newly renovated smarthome (Alexa enabled/automated, voice controlled wifi lights and locks) with all new wiring, appliances, AC, water heater, paint, switches, outlets, artwork, and plumbing. We've maintained many original design features, such as the eat-in breakfast nook and the sitting room/bedroom connected to the master suite because it adds such interest & convenience. The expanded water heater has been added since your stay, and we have a master bathroom renovation and pool heater planned in the next few months. We hope to see you again next time you're in town.

We had the best family vacation here! Kids hardly got out of the pool. Plenty of room for all 10 of us. Great communication with the owner. Close to everything. Definitely recommend this rental.

Great Stay little Beach getaway

Mermaid Bay was fantastic - easy check-in, great communication and all of the amenities that you need. They had more than enough toiletries and extras for the bathrooms. We were happy to use the beautiful pool and enjoy the screened in porch. It was really windy one day and the owner came over and got leaves out of the pool. It is close to a lot of stuff and easy to access! Highly recommend

Wonderful getaway

Great house. 3 bedeooms and office/suite room with pull out. Large living room with comfy sofas. Amazing retro kitchen and fabulous pool! Well stocked linens and kitchen pots and pans, dishes, etc. Would absolutely stay here again. My 9 and 10 year old were in heaven. Easy to get to and get around.

Perfect house for our entire family

We had a great stay at the Mermaid House and excellent communication with our host April. The sleeping accommodations worked out, and we especially enjoyed the spaciousness of the covered patio and poolside area. My five grandchildren loved the pool and its many toys. The location was near stores and services and a short drive to our wedding at the Addison in Boca. We highly recommend it.

Beautiful getaway with heated pool!

The hosts are absolutely amazing! Always checking in and seeing if you need anything. The house has such amazing extra touches: shampoo, conditioner, and soap in all bathrooms. Spices, condiments, and kitchen supplies at the ready. The pool is warm and has some kids extras (snorkels, noodles, toys). Everything you need to have an amazing vacation.

This is a quiet, family neighborhood of single-family homes, and the place where we raised our children. We’ve lived next door to Mermaid Bay for over 26 years.

Mermaid Bay itself is a tribute to Deerfield Beach, one of the original homes built in the 1950s. It has been thoughtfully restored with respect for its original design, with many original details still featured throughout the home, and loaded with artwork from local artists and past guests who have been inspired during their stay.
