This is a beautiful house in a serene location; the backyard is wonderful with the pool, hot tub and gardens! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners on the patio and playing games in the house. We would have preferred to use the bedroom above the garage as opposed to the "make shift" twin bed in the office, however there is no bathroom in that bedroom. So, I would say the listing should read more like a three bedroom, an office with a twin pull out and a extra bedroom/no bathroom, above the garage- to be more accurate and fair. It is a beautiful neighborhood and only minutes to St. Joe. We will definitely reserve dates for next year!

Thank you so much for this lovely review. We're so glad the backyard was a highlight, with the pool, hot tub, and gardens setting the scene for those patio dinners and game nights indoors. We appreciate your thoughtful note on the sleeping arrangements, and the listing, photos, and layout are kept detailed so guests can see the office and the room above the garage before booking. It's wonderful to hear the neighborhood and the quick trip to St. Joe worked so well for you, and we'd love to welcome you back when you reserve your dates next year. The VueStay Team

Great home - plenty of space

The property was great, the pool was spacious and warm, and the home had plenty of room for the 10 of us. Would like to have seen the office in the main home moved to above the garage and that bedroom moved to the main home since there wasn't a bathroom and we didn't want to leave anyone up there alone. Overall we had a great stay!

Michigan Escape

We had a lovely time with family at this house. It was clean and very spacious! The pool was clean, the perfect temperature, and kept the kids entertained all week. We traveled with toddlers and it was nice to be able to close the pool each evening for safety. There was a shallow corner in the pool which was perfect for the toddlers to splash and play in but also a deeper end for the “big kids.” The hot tub was perfect to warm up on the cooler nights. The fire pit worked well for making S’mores. There were plenty of games and outdoor activities for the kids to play-they loved the swings, the ping-pong table, and the pinball machine. The kitchen and patio were large to entertain with family. Plenty of good restaurants, breweries, beaches, and bakeries near-by. It’s the perfect spot for a laid back family vacation!
