Venture to nearby Lamoine State Beach Park for kayaking. Head to Ellsworth for dining and shopping. Be sure to explore the hiking and epic scenery of Acadia National Park, just over the Mount Desert Narrows. Trek to the 1,530-foot summit of Cadillac Mountain. Or, take it easy, drive up, and enjoy the view from the summit parking area (16.4 miles). After days of adventure, return home for afternoon lawn games in the yard while supper sizzles on the gas grill. Dine alfresco at the picnic table, then roast marshmallows around the firepit. Additional outdoor space includes the furnished front patio featuring mountain and bay views.

Feel right at home in the spacious Great Room, featuring a love seat, two armchairs, bench seating, and soaring vaulted ceilings. Watch favorite shows on the 47-inch TV in the bonus living area, featuring a vintage gas stove. Whip up tasty dishes in the kitchen, equipped with a full suite of appliances. Modern Private Getaway

The place is cozy and immaculate. Drinking your morning coffee by the shore is breathtaking, and the location allows for a wide array of day trips in the mid coast.

Serenity and shorebirds

The views from the spacious deck were tremendous. The sunset colors only improved the view too. The house was clean, with high-quality finishes. The super-comfy bed was particularly welcome. The house location is serene, with nearby hikes and a local swimming hole - but a comfortable distance from the typical summer crowds. Delightful!

Iconic Maine setting

Tucked in among towering native pines, this home is set along the iconic Maine coastline with captivating views. The expansive deck affords ample space for dining and enjoying the sunrises and spectacular views of Broadcove. In early mornings I enjoyed the peacefulness of this site, accompanied by melodic birdsongs. The home is so tastefully and comfortably appointed, it Immediately felt like home to me. A significant advantage are the private access points to the water for kayaking or canoeing in quiet, nearly empty waterways. I highly recommend this property and will plan a return visit!

Peaceful Fall Getaway

The property is new and clean. The view of the ocean is lovely and it was very quiet there. It is very close to the main house so not sure how private it would be if someone was staying at the main house at the same time especially since the window facing the main house has no shade. The kitchen is well stocked but wish they had some non stick pans. The listing states that there is a dishwasher but that is not accurate. There was none. It is a 10 - 15 minute drive to Moody's Diner. We did get takeout from there one night and used the grill for the others. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is very nice. Basic supplies of dish soap, papertowels, and even shampoo and bath soap were provided which was appreciated. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.
