You'll be just a short drive away from the wonderful Arcadia National Park, where you'll be able to hike on its many breathtaking trails and enjoy the sights. Take a walk down to the shores of the beaches and relax for a while with a cold drink in hand as you bask in the sun. You'll be in luck: the Claremont Hotel is right next door, with fantastic dining options, a small bakery, and a bar. Other great local attractions include Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, Bar Harbor Whale Watch, Acadian Boat Tours, Wild Gardens of Acadia, and Bubble Rock.

When you enter this splendid home away from home, you'll be greeted by a rustic ambiance and gorgeous wooden accents throughout. Unwind and create everlasting memories with the crew in the welcoming living room, furnished with comfy sofas, a wood stove to keep you nice and warm during your stay, many entertaining books, and a TV with cable. When mealtime comes, surprise everyone with exquisite culinary masterpieces prepared in the well-appointed kitchen. Coffee enthusiasts will appreciate the Keurig coffee maker. This place is GREAT! Kitchen had all tools needed for cooking, location was awesome. We will definitely stay here again!We do recommend ear plugs. The street noise overnight can be annoying.

What a gem! Such a charming and spacious apartment with a fantastic, unobstructed view of the water! Comfy bed, all ammeneties available, parking easy and convenient, and the bathroom has a fan. AC and heater units availabible throughout the apartment. Be sure to check out the bookstore downstairs! We will definitely return in the future!

Excellent Stay

This was the fourth time we have rented the Sunshine on the Sheepscot apartment and it was delightful as usual. The apartment has a charming, historic feel but still has most of the modern amenities. Be aware that there is a fairly steep staircase to get to the apartment so it maybe won’t be the best choice for people with mobility issues but it is highly recommended for a great stay in Wiscasset!

Wiscasset Beauty

We have traveled Midcoast Maine since childhood and have always admired this historic riverfront Wiscasset building. We were so happy for the opportunity to stay here! The space is thoughtfully arranged as both an homage to its history and a cozy living space with gorgeous Sheepscot views. Perfect landing spot for Wiscasset's beautiful walking tour, eateries and shops. We loved every minute. Thank you!

Beautiful little apartment, the view from the balcony was excellent, and there's a delightful little coffee/ice cream shop practically underneath it, in the little nook between the building and Red's. A lovely relaxing stay 🙂

A wonderful spot.

We very much enjoyed everything about this rental. Even in 85+ degree heat, the breeze off the river kept the deck space & kitchen very cool. Great location for exploring the coast or just walking around town & chill in out.

Perfect!

The apartment is fantastic--great views, clean, well-appointed, & has lots of historic character. And the location is just as good--close to great food, great walking, great swimming, great shops and more! We'll definitely be back.
