***WARNING – DO NOT BOOK THIS VILLA***Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing and included two serious safety incidents. On our first night, the glass shelf in the fridge suddenly shattered, sending glass across the kitchen floor and cutting one of our guests’ foot and leg. We then spent hours cleaning it up. Later in the holiday, a 14-year-old girl fell from the hammock because it had been installed incorrectly. Thankfully, she wasn’t more seriously injured, but the outcome could have been far worse.There were also numerous maintenance issues throughout our stay. The electricity tripped several times a day, and we were repeatedly told to go outside and reset the fuse box ourselves. The swimming pool wasn’t working properly, resulting in at least five visits from maintenance. By then, all of our swimwear and inflatables had turned green.One bedroom had no functioning air conditioning, several rooms had ant infestations, and at least two bedrooms had mould covering the curtains. One of the ground-floor sliding doors wouldn’t lock properly, creating a security concern. The dishwasher barely cleaned anything, so we washed most dishes by hand. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, there was only one tall drinking glass for the entire villa, the washing line broke, and the outdoor dining table was filthy underneath and clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned.The only positive was that there was plenty of toilet roll provided.
