Experience 1890s architectural charm reimagined for modern living. With its unique artistic flair and a location that puts life’s daily essentials at your doorstep, this is urban living at its finest.
The Space:
Step into a piece of Denver history that has been thoughtfully reimagined for the modern traveler. Originally constructed in the 1890s, this Victorian multi-purpose home is an architectural treasure. You’ll find a stunning contrast between the "old world"—authentic moldings, exposed brick, and a handcrafted pine staircase—and the "new world" of a Scandinavian-inspired open-concept kitchen. This bright, modern space is anchored by white quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, making it a dream for those planning a long-term stay.
This home is designed to keep you connected, featuring high-speed Wi-Fi and a dining table that doubles as a spacious work desk for those working from Denver. When it’s time to retire for the night, the layout offers flexible sleeping arrangements: a comfortable king bed and three full beds spread across the three bedrooms and the unique loft space, which is accessed via a classic ladder. While the original Victorian elements like peek-a-boo circular windows and wooden plank ceilings provide incredible charm, the bathroom is purely modern, featuring a totally renovated space with a dreamy walk-in glass shower.
Life on Tennyson Street is vibrant and high-energy. This property sits right in the middle of the greatness, meaning you’ll experience the authentic hustle and bustle of the city the moment you step out your front door. To fuel your Denver adventures, we provide locally sourced coffee from Queen City, premium spices from Savory Spice, and eco-friendly soaps from Public Goods. It’s a house with quirks and character that reward those who want to live like a local in one of the city's most active and popular districts.
Wintertime in Colorado brings many opportunities for play and adventure, as well as seasonal hazards that require consideration. AWD or 4WD capable vehicles are recommended from November - April for all guests. Please plan your travel accordingly. We are not responsible for guests ability to access roads or parking due to weather conditions.

The neighborhood:
Welcome to Berkeley, arguably Denver’s most beloved and "casual-cool" neighborhood. With a staggering Walk Score of 96, you can effectively retire your car keys for the month. Tennyson Street is a historic cultural corridor that has evolved from a 19th-century streetcar track into a bohemian mecca. You are situated exactly where you want to be: surrounded by a curated mix of indie bookstores, yoga studios, hidden-gem art galleries, and the kind of bakeries that make waking up early feel like a treat.
The neighborhood perfectly balances its rich history—like the nearby original Elitch Theatre—with a modern, high-energy lifestyle. On any given afternoon, you can stroll to Berkeley Lake Park for a walk around the water or join the community for the "First Friday" art walks that turn the sidewalk into a giant gallery. Getting around is a breeze; while you have two dedicated off-street parking spots in the back, you’re positioned to give you easy access to both the mountain corridor and downtown Denver.
Top Restaurant & Happy Hour Spots:
• Hops & Pie: A Tennyson staple. It’s part artisan pizza shop, part craft beer sanctuary. Their "dough parts" and rotating tap list are the stuff of local legend.
• Postino WineCafe: The ultimate happy hour spot. Known for their "Board & Bottle" deals and incredible bruschetta, the patio here is the best place to people-watch on Tennyson.
• The Empourium Brewing Co: A laid-back neighborhood brewery where the vibe is always casual. Perfect for a post-work pint with a rotating selection of local food trucks.
• Vital Root: Creative, plant-based eating that even carnivores love. It’s bright, modern, and serves up incredible cocktails infused with fresh juices and herbs.
• Call to Arms Brewing Company: Just a short walk away, this spot offers a refined but cozy taproom experience with some of the most technically sound beers in the city.
Top Things to Do:
• Berkeley Lake Park: A massive green space just blocks away. It features a dog park, a library, a recreation center, and a beautiful trail around the lake with mountain views.
