This property is close to restaurants, supermarkets with tons of fresh fruit and veggies. Plenty of space in the rooms and gathering areas. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows also. It was as described.

Great communication, Owner lives upstairs so he was right there when we had questions upon arrival. It was an amazing deal for the price/location. Everything else was twice as much money. We wanted a safe place to stay while exploring NY. This worked great for that. We had to be quiet because a family lives downstairs too. This was our first time to NY so we needed to reset our expectations. Living here is much different than the Midwest-think tighter spaces, little critters, tight parking, etc. Overall good for our needs at the reasonable price point!

Am was a great host. He answered my questions promptly. This apartment was clean and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms clean and newly renovated. Water as hot as you want and good water pressure. Towels and rugs thick and luxurious. The kitchen, again very nicely done. I did not use the stove and oven. The stove/oven is gas powered. There are brand new mini fridge in each rooms. Also, plenty of off street parking two blocks away from the apartment. The neighborhood has a nice grocery store, very ethnic. I say that … I saw dates, yogurts, spices all ingredients for Indian and Middle Eastern dishes. The grocery store is Premium Grocery. It has foods found in the big name stores like eggs, tomatoes, Mangoes, etc. unlike the big name stores, it does not have much premade frozen food. So, plan to cook from scratch if you shop from this store. Mangoes are sweeter than the ones from the big name stores. I did not try the local restaurants.. there are many including an up coming Thai restaurants. Around the corner is a Middle Easter restaurant offering Halal food. Again, I did not have a chance to sample the local restaurants.

The place wasn’t the cleanest. The water wouldn’t go down the drain in the shower, and there was a lot of hair in the tub. The parking was atrocious! It took forever to find a parking space.The check in was a bit much with a key ring with way too many keys on it. Later on at night as I was coming in, some random guy sitting on the outside stairs, claiming to reside downstairs, tried to interrogate me about, if I was staying at this location. For a moment I questioned myself as to if I had a right to be there, but I quickly snapped out of it, and stared at him as if I didn’t understand his questions. Then I preceded to enter the residence. I know that I won’t be staying here again. I was traveling alone, and this place, and location didn’t feel safe at all!!!
