The Shadows townhome in the Clock Tower Penthouses is conveniently located just one block from the Steamboat Ski area gondola! This spacious, two-level townhome overlooks Steamboat's mountain village and Ski Time Square. There are breathtaking views of the mountain and valley through the tall windows and from the expansive private balconies. Relax or entertain in the spacious, professionally-decorated living/dining area with a gas fireplace and elevated ceilings. This penthouse is complete with a top-quality, fully-equipped kitchen featuring an oven, a dishwasher, and a microwave. Plus, you'll have a breakfast bar and a wet bar area, perfect for quick meals or happy hours. For entertainment, this unit is equipped with complimentary WiFi, three TVs, a DVD player, a VCR, a stereo system, and an in-suite washer and dryer. The main bedroom is on the second floor and has a king bed with an attached bathroom with a jetted tub. The second bedroom, located on the first floor, has a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds. Youth Sports Notice: The ClockTower Penthouses area is not a member of Triple Crown or other youth sports lodging programs and cannot accept any participants at this property.

Great Location

This was the perfect location to walk to the gondola. Condo was spacious and clean. Definitely will be booking this one again.

Great location for skiing and more affordable than slopeside

This condo was very comfortable and very accessible to the lifts with a short walk. It was also nice to have 3 full bathrooms. Would recommend for ski groups and families.

Perfect spot for a ski vacation

We (three couples) had a great time at the condo. It's about a five minute walk from the door the the ski area. There was pleanty of space for us. We would definitely stay here again.

The unit is a bit dated, but very clean and well appointed. It's got a ton of room and very close to the slopes. The bunk beds are terribly uncomfortable, but good enough for kids, etc

Spacious and great location

This is a basic home (may have been luxury in the 90s but not updated since) with a great layout and location to slopes. Easy for kids. Recommend this for families who want to be close to the slopes and be comfortable hanging out. Would not count on top bunk space as kids wouldn’t sleep up there due to lack of bedrails. Bedding needs updating.

Fun vacation

The property is fine overall. Good location, sufficient parking. Comfortable rooms, kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Close to grocery stores. Good value for the price. The negatives were: The master bathroom toilet needs to be flushed about 3 times to get all the paper down. Refrigerator sounds like it is about to die. It has a nasty rumble. Wall heaters are a hazard and not very efficient. Central heating is better. The balcony has such a steep slant that you feel like you have to hold on to something to keep from sliding.

I felt like we got the old bait and switch on this rental. When we rented the unit, it was described as a luxury condo with a hot tub. The condo is fine, and we did enjoy our stay, but the unit has not been updated in a few decades. There is also no hot tub so hopefully they will edit the description so it is accurate. Then there was the hassle with the parking passes. Vacasa, the property manager, kept changing the instructions of how we were to receive them (including visiting a non-existent front desk). The passes were dropped off the last day we were in the unit. In the interim, though, some guys from a nearby business gave me a pass because they were afraid we would get towed. Thanks to them, but the property manager didn't seem too concerned about it even though the descriptor stresses the importance of the passes. There are literally thousands of condos on the mountain. You can do better.

Good place to stay

The walk to the slopes was about 2 full city blocks, so can be a bit long for the young or older skiers. The condo was spacious, it was great to have the bunk beds in the upper bedroom. The beds were very comfortable, the couch and chairs have seen a fair amount of use. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the dishes one could want. Nice place.

Steamboat Getaway

Wonderful property! Nice open concept in the main living/dining/kitchen area. Very comfortable bedrooms. And great location if you want to hit the slopes - only a 3-5 min walk to the gondola. Definitely recommend and will look to stay here again the next time we're in Steamboat!

The townhome is very spacious with plenty of room for a large group. Short walk to the lift/gondola. Can't beat this price for what it offers.
