Relax in this nicely furnished cedar chalet and enjoy the sounds of the woods. Enjoy the spacious feeling from the high ceilings and cozy up to the rock fireplace. Outdoor decking overlooks hardwood and pine woods. Log furnishings in the Master bedroom add to the mountain chalet atmosphere. Unwind in the hot tub in the attached screened-in porch, allowing it to be used year-round. Outdoor picnic area overlooks the beautiful mountain views. What's nearby: The home is only minutes from Dillsboro, Sylva, and Cherokee.



This prime location offers close proximity to hiking, trout fishing, rafting, antique shops, Smokey Mt. Railroad, and horseback riding. Home is located in a peaceful mountain setting and is near the Tuckaseege River. This home offers all of the features needed for a quiet retreat in the mountains while providing convenient access to area attractions, stores, and dining. My family and I really enjoyed the cabin; it was exactly as advertised. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again, we loved it!

This property has a quiet setting almost at the end of the road. The views are nice, and probably even better in the fall and winter as the leaves come off the trees. The amenities, like a hot tub, are a nice added touch. The rooms were clean.A few caveats, but definitely not deal breakers at all. The road to the property is quite steep with blind switchbacks and the driveway itself is not for the faint of heart. It is quite a challenge to turn around in the driveway, and heaven forbid, if you miss the driveway and have to turn around at the end of the road. The hot tub is shallow and the cover heavy and awkward, both showing the signs of age. I would be hesitant to bring young kids or older adults as the stairs to the front door have shot treads and the interior steps are long and end into a wall. Bring your own blankets as there are not any for sitting on the couch. The water pump has a pretty loud banging noise whenever water is running. Mainly just a nuisance at night while in the downstairs bedroom, but ear plugs would help with that.Overall, a nice place despite my caveats.

This place felt like a home the hot tub was amazing and it was beautiful. The drive up the mountain is a little scary the first time especially in the dark but we got use to it very quickly. Will definitely be back!!

Everything was clean. I think the ac worked a little to well lol. But all in all it was a fantastic stay. Although i wish i could get my blanket back i left there.

Short Mountain visit

We came through with our family for a cheer competition, the property was perfect. We enjoyed using the fire pit and the great views.
