This was the perfect space for our family to get together. A variety of comfortable spaces to accommodate play, conversation and eating. The bedroom options suited our various needs (especially nice having a main floor bedroom for mobility challenged guest.) The outdoor space was delightful and a wonderful place to visit with family. Location very convenient. House is extremely well appointed and stocked with all the needed utensils. Appliances are modern and all in great working order.Parking was good. Our host was very available and thoughtful.

The Moment I Walked in the Door, I Felt Lucky! The Lucky Penny was Awesome and Amazing, It Felt Just Like Home! Everything We Needed and More was Available! Ann the Host was Thorough and Hands On! Truly one of the best rental places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting and every picture on the listing is true to our experience. Everything was clean and brand new - the kitchen and bathrooms are not only functional but are well designed and well stocked. There were so many helpful details which helped to make the stay enjoyable - from the s’mores kit to restaurant recommendations and even different options for coffee prep. I also can’t leave a review without commenting on the location - it can’t be beat! We were able to walk to campus which means this will be a must rent for any future football games. Lastly the backyard was perfection; a cozy yet spacious place to gather. I’ve already booked my next stay with my family. Great place. Great host. Great stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Lucky Penny! It’s in a fantastic location, super close to Notre Dame and a couple blocks away from a wonderful river trail system for morning walks/runs. It was clean, comfortable and well-equipped for our short stay with friends. It has a great outdoor space in the backyard, perfect for large gatherings. We will definitely be staying here again for our next trip to South Bend!

The Lucky Penny is a gem! We may have been the first renters and we were thoroughly impressed. The place is well equipped with supplies (especially the kitchen), beds were comfortable, and the outdoor space is spectacular! I also loved all the ND themed decor and all the personal touches like the owner's recommendations on local places to check out. The neighborhood was really nice too. Seemed safe and was very walkable. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!
