Escape to Tulum - Belle unité au rez-de-chaussée à Aldea Zama

Situé dans le nouveau développement d'Aldea Zama, ce complexe calme et rez-de-chaussée est l'un des condos les mieux situés à louer à Tulum. Il n'est qu'à quelques minutes des plages à couper le souffle, des anciens cenotes mayas et des célèbres ruines mayas.
À quelques pas de la piscine, ce logement climatisé comprend 2 chambres - 1 lit king et 1 lit queen 2 salles de bains, draps, serviettes / serviettes de plage, une cuisine entièrement équipée et une laveuse et une sécheuse. Fabulous!

This was a great condo! Great location and very secure. Rosy who checked us in was wonderful! She was very helpful with our questions and concerns and quite personable. She also had some great recommendations for us that we would never have known about otherwise! We had a very pleasant stay. :)

Clean home, convenient location

We enjoyed our stay here. The pool was really nice, but it would have been nice to have a way to secure the front door going out. We have a little one who can open doors and the front door had no way to latch from the inside. The beds weren’t the most comfortable we’ve slept in, but everything was nice and clean and we had everything we needed. The store across the street was very convenient.

A Gem in the Jungle

This unit in a very well maintained, cozy condo complex was perfect for two couples. The owners and management responded quickly to any questions we had. We opted for the main floor beside the pool and were pleasantly surprised at the privacy of our patio where we began and ended each day. There were two bikes available to us. After renting two more (which is very easy to do) we rode everywhere - grocery shopping, downtown, to the beach, and even, the ruins. We took cabs, at very reasonable rates, on lazy days. The condo is very nicely furnished, extremely clean and has the basic kitchen utensils etc. The pool was fabulous for cooling off and meeting the other guests, many who were Manitoban (go Jets). We highly recommend this unit.

Peaceful Oasis

It was a lovely experience right from booking to checking out. Sarah, the owner was very kind, helpful, and quick to respond to our request to book. We booked last minute literally as we were boarding our flight from Canada and I had all the important information by the time I landed in Cancun. We then spoke with Rosie, the property manager the rest of our stay. Rosie is lovely and so helpful. The condo itself was well equipped in the kitchen and thoughtfully stocked up on beach necessities. The pool was quite chilly this time of year (December/January) but it was still refreshing after a day in the sun. The location was perfect for us. It’s in a quiet part of town yet in walking distance to many restaurants, shops and a small grocery is right across the street! I would highly recommend renting a car as the cabs in Tulum are pricey and many back and forth trips add up. Conveniently there is plenty of free parking at the condo. We loved our stay and would love to stay here again if our travels bring us back to Tulum. Thank you, Sarah and Rosie

Great Pool and Garden in Tulum!

This is a lovely condo in an upcoming area of Tulum. The layout of the condo is well thought out. The pool is top notch. The location of the rental is between the beach road and the main shopping area of Tulum. This is a great choice for the area.

Great location halfway between fantastic beaches and hopping town of Tulum...rapidly growing area. Condo had a couple of issues that were rectified quickly. Lovely pool area...lots of shade...but sunny as well of you want.

Great place!

This is a great place to stay! It’s quiet, the condo has everything you need to cook up meals. We stayed here 1 month and we could have easily stayed longer. There is sky tv which was great especially for my husband as he was able to watch some sports. It shows exactly as pictures it was very clean and comfortable. Sarah was great to deal with always got back to you quickly. The only reason I gave it 1 star for check in was that there was no one to meet us as well as codes were wrong that Francesca sent us. It was no fault of Sarah’s as she was unaware of this until I told her, and she got right on it. I went next door to call property management office and Joel who was fantastic and took care of us our whole stay gave me new codes, and all the good. Overall I would definitely recommend Sarah and Allan’s condo. Thank you for renting to us!

A quiet little piece of paradise

Property was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Host was attentive. Location was convenient. Pool off the patio was lovely. The shade and privacy on the patio created by tropical plants was beautiful. A great place to stay!

Nice condo in Jungle like setting

We were staying in Playa for 10 days and decided to spend a few days in Tulum. We've always loved Tulum, but had only experienced it for day trips. It was great being so close to the beach clubs, bars, and restaurants without worrying about driving an hour back to Playa at night. We had a rental car and used that to/from the restaurants in the evening, then used the 2 bikes provided with the rental to get to the beach during the day. The condo had everything we needed, lost power for an hour or so, but nothing terribly inconvenient. It was also nice having the pool right outside the condo. Communication with the owner and property management were excellent! All in all, no complaints, we really enjoyed our time here.

Well appointed and comfortable condo in Tulum

We just returned from a 2 week visit to Tulum, and stayed at this nice condo in the Aldea Zama neighborhood. It was a wonderful stay! We chose this particular unit because it has a similar configuration to a condo we bought in another development in Aldea Zama, built by the same builder, but not yet ready. We wanted to try out a similar unit, to learn what works for us, and what doesn't. This unit is well appointed and comfortable. One BR has a king bed, the other a queen. The mattresses were firm and comfortable. It is is located on the ground level, directly in front of the pool. We enjoyed popping into the pool in the morning before heading out to enjoy Tulum, and after a long day, when hot and tired, the pool was a wonderful oasis. The unit is well managed by the property manager, who greeted us with a bottle of wine and welcome letter. He explained how to use the safe, tv, wifi, cleaning service (4X during our stay), etc. All in all, this is a great unit in an excellent location.

Beautiful condo in Tulum.

This was our 4th time to the Tulum Mexico area but first time in Aldea Zama condo development. As first time condo goers we were a little unsure what to expect, however we where pleasantly surprized to find that the condo and property mgt co. where all that we expected and more. The condo is a spacious two bed two bath with tons of storage and all the comforts of home. The property is very well maintained with friendly grounds staff. You will need a car to make your stay more convenient as far as grocery shopping and just getting around goes. I will gladly return and recommend this development to my friends and family.

Family vacation

We stayed at the unit for 1 week with our 4 month old son as well as with my parents. The unit was the perfect size with two bedrooms/2 bathrooms and pack n play on site. The amenities are very nice (as accurately represented in photos). The unit opens to a small patio where we grilled out dinner right next to the pool. While the unit is centrally located, you will have to drive most places (or bike - bikes provided!). The owners were great to work with and very quick to respond to any questions we had prior to our trip. The local management staff is accessible while staying at the property for any questions/concerns. Staying at this unit was hassle/stress free and we would definitely recommend staying here!

Clean, Comfortable Base in Tulum...but rent a car!

We stayed in Aldea Zama for 5 nights as part of a 2-week trip through the Yucatan. We were very happy with the complex and this condo. First, the grounds were beautiful, nicely landscaped, and secure. The pool was sparkling clean and very peaceful. Although the area around the pool is quite narrow, there are plenty of nice wooden lounge chairs, some shade if you want it, and it was never crowded. The condo's location steps from the pool was perfect! Inside, the condo was immaculately clean with all new and modern appliances, fixtures, and decor. It looks just like the pictures or better. It was nice having 2 big bathrooms and a washer and dryer. The kitchen is basic, but modern and clean and had everything we needed. The AC was super cold. No problems with bugs even though you are surrounded by jungle! There was a barbecue, 2 adult bikes and child's bike, kids' toys, a beach umbrella, and plenty of towels. There are some pros and cons to the location. Aldea Zama is located between the Tulum pueblo and the beach, so you are not really "right in" either. It's the only thing in the area and it's a huge development, so even just the walk to get out of the complex to the main road was long and hot in July. Once you get to the beach, much of the beach access is obscured by hotels. The nice sandy beaches with public access are a good 20-30 minute bike ride from the condo (and we are young, fit people). Lugging all our beach stuff in the heat just made it too exhausting, and after doing it once, we decided to rent a car and were so glad we did. With a car, all the beautiful beaches, ruins, cenotes, restaurants, and sites were at our fingertips, and we were able to see the big benefit of the location: convenient to get to town, the highway, or the beach. Being somewhat isolated also makes Aldea Zama quiet and peaceful, which was nice after a busy day. Considering that for the price, we would've been lucky to get one room with no AC or kitchen on the beach, we were happy with our choice to stay at Aldea Zama.

Excellent condo stay, owner very responsive, ground floor unit.

There are many similar rentals in the Aldea Zama complex which is brand new so all the units should be fairly comparable. We chose this unit because it was on the ground floor which provided better pool side access, satellite tv, bikes were provided as well as a cell phone which could be used for local calls. In addition, we found that the property manager was staying onsite with his family and he was available to answer of our questions. Senor Tadeo was very helpful during our stay and made some good recommendations regarding restaurants and beach clubs. The condo is as shown in the photos, everything is almost brand new, only 1 year old. We also had 1 housecleaning day during our 5 night stay. The owner responded to our VRBO request immediately and was very responsive, intervening to help out when we were having a bit of paperwork difficulty with the local property manager. Tulum is a wonderful spot, an easy 1 1/2 hr drive from Cancun. The beaches are to-die-for and I am a real beach snob. Easy to use the local beach clubs where you can stay the day for the price of a few beers. Or head to the public beach where there are fewer amenities but no entrance fee. The beaches are about a 5 minute drive away and Tulum town centre is 5 minutes drive also. There is a big Chedraui supermarket less than 1 minute drive away. You could bike to all of these, or even walk, but we did have a car rental. One morning, we biked to the Tulum ruins and were there as the site opened. What a privilege to be able to access this site when it was virtually empty. We were just leaving as all the crowds from Cancun and the all inclusives were arriving. Tulum is the place to be. Still pretty chilled atmosphere but lots of amenities. In a decade, it will be way more like PDC, so get here while it's still relatively quiet. We hope to be back again next year, same time and would definitely try and book this unit again.

Great Mayan Riviera spot

This is a very nice condo, clean and well cared for. The owner and all the people connected with the property were very helpful with questions and made great recommendations of restaurants and sights to see. We loved the town of Tulum, the beaches and the Mayan ruins. Unlike Cancun, Tulum still has a local flavor to it. I highly recommend it.
