Villasderosa: une petite station familiale

VillasDeRosa est situé à 65 km au sud de l'aéroport de Cancun, dans la baie privée d'Aventuras Akumal. VillasDeRosa propose ce condo d'une chambre sur le front de mer, avec télévision par satellite, lecteurs CD, eau purifiée, service de ménage quotidien, salle de bain privée, ventilateurs de plafond et climatisation.

Ce condo bénéficie d'un balcon privé, d'un salon spacieux avec salle à manger et cuisine entièrement équipée. Des repas locaux ou internationaux peuvent être servis dans votre salle à manger ou au bar situé sur le toit ou au café au bord de la piscine. Notre bar de la plage est ouvert toute la journée. La piscine a une fin peu profonde et une fin profonde pour tous les invités puissent en profiter.

Aquatech, notre centre de plongée PADI sur place, est disponible pour la plongée dans les récifs, la plongée au cénote et la formation à la plongée. Aquatech est un pionnier de la plongée dans les cavernes, les cavernes et les cénotes depuis 1984. La plongée avec tuba est excellente à quelques pas de votre condo et la pêche en haute mer, les kayaks de mer et la plongée avec tuba sont tous disponibles.

VillasDeRosa propose des transferts privés vers l'aéroport et un excellent service pour que vous puissiez profiter de vos propres vacances dans les Caraïbes.

Far from town..had to taxi in.Tony, manager very helpful.Room air conditioners great, none in living room.Good showers. Amazing Trip

We had a great time during our stay. Tony is attentive, present, and responsive; the rooms were clean and had everything we needed; and the room service food was convenient, reasonable, tasted great, and was presented well. This is a great place, on the beach, that doesn't have the crowds of the larger resorts, just what we were looking for. We definitely will return.

Family beach vacation

We had a great time, lots to do in the area and when we wanted to take it easy sun bathing on the bech was perfect! Appreciated the ability to order from the nextdoor restaurant and the daily housekeeping. Will look to book again!

Relaxing beach area

We stayed for 2 days in Tony’s property. It is right on the beach and there is an adorable open bar called the Beached Bikini next door. Fish tacos are amazing. The interior including wall paint, decorations and kitchen are in need of an update. But, the bed is comfortable, the shower is hot and the view is amazing. They also have a kitchen that delivers to the room. Tony was present on check in and oriented us to the property. He also was very responsive to our needs during the stay. Thank you Tony!

Great experience

We went for a girls trip and stayed here for 5 days. This place had a great local feel to it, even met locals at the beach bar. Check in process was so easy and Tony was SO helpful the entire week. He coordinated taxis for us every night and hooked us up with snorkel gear for the cenotes! They have a restaurant with room delivery service as well as the beach bar with amazing ceviche! Never had any noise issues or any other disruptions at this place. Only draw back is if you’re wanting to explore more of the town of tulum it’s about a 45 min taxi ride which can get very expensive! Akumal is great and there are many attractions near by.

Expectations….Exceeded!

I travel to Mexico yearly. This year 3x. The property is exactly as it is portrayed…the staff and management are exceptional. The bar/restaurant next door is so fun…the servers are excellent and make hanging out fun and comfortable. The food that we ordered from the restaurant was wonderful….we should have tried it before we bought groceries. One of my favorite features was my mattress.(lol) It was so comfortable that I checked the brand and series before I left. Thank you Tony for your wonderful resort and service that we received!

Great holiday with friends and family

We really enjoyed our stay at Villasderosa. We were a group of 3 families with young child. We each had our own unit and really appreciated the daily house keeping. Villasderosa is in a safe area, we felt comfortable letting the kids play and explore. The beach and pool were close enough that they could run between the two. The beach bar was a hit too. Tony was very helpful and accommodating. He answered all of our questions and was happy to hook us up with cabs, tours or whatever we needed. The only challenge for us was the location and not be able to walk into Akumul. The taxi ‘s are very expensive and can add up quickly if you plan on visiting Akumul or Tulum regularly. We would recommend Villasderosa to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing holiday on the beach.

Great location not so great experience

First 2 days no hot water 3rd day no water at all. Had to move twice but knew this in advance but we were moved to less desirable rooms, bedroom had no windows and the air conditioner was too loud to have on at night and the fan didn’t work. The food and staff were great but for the money go elsewhere. I complained to the owner but was just blown off. We won’t be back there again.

Excellent Hosts!

Tony met us on arrival, set us up with our Wi-Fi, the room service menu and gave us the run down while walking us to our rooms. These were spacious, clean & well decorated. Water, coffee and linens supplied. The beach, our front yard. Tony and his partner Samantha are excellent communicators. His laid back nature with her sparkling sense of humor were an absolute pleasure. To say that they were accommodating just doesn’t convey the amount of effort that they put in to making their guests stay wonderful. **This might not be the right property for every one though. There’s no shopping in walking distance and just one (awesome) bay, cafe and Room Service. You can hop on the collectivo bus with a short walk to make your way to shopping and whatnot. The plumbing is a bit delicate, but the water pressure is great. The beach is clean and sand soft. You will be cared for. We’ll be back for sure.

Wow! Talk about customer service!

We had an amazing stay at Villas DeRosa! Our room was huge! I don't think I realized there were two bedrooms and two full baths when I reserved the room. It was a great surprise - especially for our 11-year old, who suddenly wants privacy all the time. The AC was located in the bedrooms only and kept those areas very cool. We were on the 3rd floor, so there was a nice cross breeze when we opened the sliders and front door. It was pretty hot during the day, but we didn't spend much time inside. The beds were soooo comfortable! The staff was incredibly responsive! All you had to do was ring the doorbell by the pool, and someone would come take your order. Food could be delivered to you at the beach or pool or your room. And it was delicious!!!!! I swear we had some of our best meals at the condo! Plus, Carlos made the best margarita I've ever had at the rooftop bar, and the views were spectacular! As a birthday gift for my boyfriend, Tony helped me coordinate an Explore Scuba experience through the dive shop for him, his son, and I during our stay. Tony was quick to respond to my many questions and took care of all the details. We just had to come downstairs - he arranged for someone to take us to the dive shop, where we had a guide (Alex) meet us with all the equipment we would need. We also lucked out with a photographer, Thomas Vogt, who captured our dive on film. There was someone at the front desk til at least 8 pm every night, and he was incredibly helpful. We felt very safe and loved the location, which was just a 5-minute drive to Half Moon Bay, where we stayed the previous two years. We loved the pool and snorkeling right in front of our condo every day. I highly recommend Villas DeRosa!

Akumal Family Trip

Pros - the beds and pillows!! So comfortable, not a complaint from anyone. The place is pretty quiet and clean every morning there was someone out picking up and cleaning off our patio, they even have a little foot bath on the porch so that you don’t drag sand in. They also provide water for drinking and replace it when needed. Tony was very accommodating and responded to all requests so quickly! The roof top restaurant was closed but they delivered food and/or drinks to the room, porch or beach. There is also a little beach bar right next door that had good food and drinks. They also provide full laundry service. You could probably go out in town and find it cheaper but was worth it to not have to find a place, drop it off and pick it up. We actually just left it outside our door and it was returned the same day. Tiny will also arrange for a COVID test if necessary. We did not use the kitchen much but for left overs and keeping things cold, it was perfect. Cons - there is only AC in the bedrooms. It was really hot (for us) so we did not cook or spend time in the living room. The pool was not inviting, it is small so it is hot (like bath water) and kind of dirty with bugs and what not. And do you research of the area, it is not the hotels fault but research the dates you are going and the beach conditions, we did not and. could not really get in the ocean, there was so much dead sea grass up the coast line. Again, not the hotels fault but it was sad for a beach trip not to get in the ocean. Lots to do in the area and visited a lot of cenotes to get our water fix.

Fantastic location!

Stayed here for a couple of nights with a buddy of mine and it was the perfect location for a relaxing beach getaway. Tony was super helpful with recommendations and he even had snorkel gear for rent that my buddy used which was so convenient. The unit was very spacious and comfortable with a great view of the beach. There’s a great little beach bar right next door that has delicious food too which I recommend. It’s a perfect tucked away location that’s so close to Akumal Bay for snorkeling, tons of cenotes nearby, ruin sightseeing, and Tulum is only 20 min away which is a must see. Highly recommend staying here!

Property is a hidden gem, well maintained and the beach and view is amazing!

My husband and I along with our three kids (ages 9, 7, 5) stayed at Villa de Rosa the last few days and had the best time! It is truly a hidden gem, perfect for kids as it has a pool and beach right next to each other so your kids can safely go back and forth. The staff is delightful so friendly and will do anything an everything to make your stay enjoyable. The food is delicious as are the drinks. Right Nextdoor is an adorable restaurant/bar called the beached bikini that is a great place for eating somewhere else but not going too far. The bartender Charlie made our day, we miss him already! Is the place a 5 Star fully renovated hotel, no, but it’s charming and authentic. The rooms/condos were beautifully maintained, the sheets and towels clean and fresh. Can’t say enough!

A beautiful spot.

Myself, my husband and our 2 Chihuahuas just spent 7 days here. It really is a beautiful spot in a great location for peace and quiet. we had a ground floor beach front 1 bedroom unit and it was great. We met lots of people from all over the place. It's off the beaten path but only minutes from the local collectivo. My only complaint is the bed needs upgrading as our back were sore after a coupe of nights and the kitchen appliances could use some upgrading. Minor stuff really. Oh and the roof top restaurant is not there. However they still have very good, reasonably priced food and a fun little swing bar steps away. We would definitely go back

Perfect Family Vacation

Wonderful spot for small to large groups. Away from busy beaches but close enough to go if you want to. There are not enough good things we can say about this place. We have four children 12,10,8,6 and there was something for each kid to truly enjoy. Whether it be swimming in the pool, snorkeling, sand castles, huge turtles on the beach laying eggs. From the moment we got there we were greeted with a smile and the utmost in hospitality. If you like to dive they have have everything you need right there. There were two restaurants on site, fabulous food decent prices. Thank you to everyone at VIlladerosa for making sure our family vacation was a memorable and enjoyable one. We definitely will be returning.

Feel like a local...

Villas de Rosa has a different vibe than other properties in the area, and was perfect for our needs. We stayed in a condo, and enjoyed being able to cook meals for ourselves after shopping at nearby markets. The on-site food is great, though, and we enjoyed the company of the bartender/cook. The small outdoor bar and restaurant was even frequented by guests from nearby all-inclusives who were looking for a more authentic and relaxed experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and bilingual in most cases. They took the time to tell us about nearby beaches and cenotes we shouldn't miss, which made for a memorable trip. The owner answered questions we didn't know we had, like how staying on the third floor would be the best fit for us. The site is very clean and well-maintained. The housekeeping service was beyond our expectations, and was quick to replace a burned-out lightbulb without us having to ask. They also provide courtesies like dish soap, body soap, and shampoo. Don't miss snorkeling around the reefs that are an easy swim directly out from the Villas' beach--surprising variety of colorful fish, sea life, and coral structures. Also be sure to visit the ruins at Xel-ha and Coba, at least one cenote, the Yal-Ku lagoon for an easy but beautiful experience, and the secluded beach at Xcacel (it's hard to find, so ask the staff). While having a car isn't necessary, we were glad we rented one. We were able to make quick trips to the market, and to visit multiple towns and archaeological sites in one day--and still have time left over to relax on the beach. While we're not new to international travel, we haven't done a lot of it. The accommodations/location and the staff quickly dispelled any anxieties we had about being in an unfamiliar place. Akumal is more out-of-the-way than Playa del Carmen, but not so remote that new travelers should shy away. We left feeling more like friends than guests.

Amazing customer service

Our family was welcomed by a beautiful smiling Rebecca. Our suite was spacious and accommodating! Wake up to sounds of the ocean right out your door! Outstanding snorkeling right on the beach! Tony junior too is a whirl wind of information and hospitality! Ask about the tours with Tony as well with Cora who is next door at the bar! Fantastic margaritas are to be had just watch the swings when sitting at the bar! I hope to return back in the near future!

Family Vacation

We have never been to mexico before, and so chose to stay at Villa Derosa for the duration of our 2 week holiday. And were glad we did!!! It was reasonably priced and right on the beach. The ocean view was a breathtaking sight to enjoy our morning coffee over each day! ! The first day we arrived it was early in the day and they were gracious enough to let us put our things in our room early, while the maids cleaned our villa. This allowed us time to venture off to stock up on our groceries from a nearby store. We found the staff very friendly, and full of helpful tips to make our day trip ventures, even more enjoyable. From the time we arrived we were welcomed and felt at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would like to make a suggestion for those with small children. The belcony on our villa lovely but the rail is not safe for those with small kids. Reserve on a lower level if your kids are vey little. We had a number of other family members who took holidays and stayed here at the same time and the facility provided us with a large area around the pool to hang out while the kids played in the water. If I had one small suggestion it would be that the pool could have been emptied and refilled more often as we had kids using the pool several times a day over our stay and I didn't see them empty it once. On a good note..... it was a refreshing place for our kids to play when the ocean was too rough to swim. And for that we were gratful! Just as a side note we considered buying life vests for our kids but we found it afforable to simply rent them for the day off the office and we would often take them with us on our day trips to other beaches as well. The Villas are centrally located so we weren't far from Tulum, Playa del Carmen, or nearby Cenotayes. On the days when the wind died down. We were able to snorkel, and just float on tubes in the ocean out front of the villas. Thanks so much for everything and we won't soon forget our first trip to Mexico!

Nancy and Tony DeRosa came upon Akumal in 1983. They fell in love with the area and scuba diving. In 1985 they designed and built a duplex on this very site. During construction of the building, they discovered the magnificent underwater cave systems in the area and their lives would be forever changed. Deciding to stay in Mexico full time, they rented out the second condo to visiting cave divers and continued to explore the underwater cave systems. Exploration was in full swing, and more and more divers requested to stay with the DeRosas. By the mid 1990's, property next door was purchased and a six condo building was constructed. By then more people were discovering the beauty of the area....not just divers. In the late 1990's another property was purchased, adding another building with 6 more condos and a pool.........all properties are directly on the beach! Soon a four lane highway was completed from Cancun to Tulum and many large all inclusive hotels started to populate the area. Villas DeRosa remains a small family owned and operated resort located on a beautiful beach isolated from the impersonal world growing up around them. Villas DeRosa is a small family owned and operated resort with amenities that will make your vacation memorable.

We have two condo buildings, with a total of 12 beach front condos. All condos have private terraces overlooking the beach, living room, dining room, full kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Sliding Glass doors and windows in the living room give you a full view of the beach and ocean from your condo. There is a private swimming pool, beach bar, and restaurant with a wonderful food menu. For adventure, the Aquatech Dive Center is on site and specializes in open water diving, cenote diving, and snorkeling tours. We can also arrange deep sea fishing for game fish with a boat directly on the beach by your condo. Nearby you will find the Mayan Ruins, swim with the dolphin programs, several theme & water parks, sailing, and more.
