Cette belle maison de poutres et poteaux est idéalement situé sur la péninsule Pemaquid et est parfait pour ceux qui veulent un sans stress et calme vacances-end. Confidentialité abonde cette propriété et est à seulement cinq minutes à pied de l'île Calf sur tranquille Boyd étang où vous pourrez profiter de la faune alors qu'il était assis sur le quai, la natation ou profiter d'un tour en kayak ou en canot. Ceci est un endroit parfait pour ceux qui aiment la nature et veulent sortir de l'agitation de la vie quotidienne. Nous sommes une courte distance en voiture magnifique plage d'eau de mer de Bristol, Pemaquid Point, Fort William Henry et le centre-ville pittoresque et charmant de Damariscotta. Bristol est situé au centre de la côte du Maine pour des excursions dans toute la région. Des excursions en bateau vers l'île de Mohegan, des baleines et des montres de macareux peuvent être trouvés dans New Harbor qui est à quelques minutes de Bristol. Nous sommes à environ 40 minutes de Booth Bay Harbor pour ceux qui veulent passer une journée dans cette belle ville portuaire. La maison dispose de deux chambres et une mezzanine pouvant accueillir 5 personnes confortablement. Il y a un lit queen dans une chambre, deux lits jumeaux dans la deuxième chambre et une taille pleine canapé-lit dans le grenier. Il y a une cuisine entièrement applianced, une salle de bain complète et un salon avec une cuisinière à gaz. Une grande terrasse et un porche privé projeté font partie de cette magnifique propriété pour profiter des soirées Maine pacifiques. Cette maison vous attend.

The house is absolutely beautiful and sits in a very private location in a serene woods setting. It provides access to Boyd pond through a trail- gorgeous. It is close to the beach, lots of places to grab a bite to eat, and all the beautiful coastal sites in the area. We loved the amount of space the house has- each bedroom is a great size. The house has so many features that are wonderful for hosting a family vacation. The only downside for us was how hot it was inside with no A/C. We stayed there during a record-breaking heat wave in July and it was sweltering in the house despite us having all the fans going. Other than that, everything was perfect! The host, Sandra, is so kind and helpful! She is responsive and answered every inquiry I had in a timely manner. She is wonderful!

Im happy you enjoyed our cottage. I am sorry that the exceptionally hot weather made it a bit uncomfortable during your stay. We don't normally experience such warm weather for consecutive days as happened over the 4th. We do try to provide comfort as best we can with the fans we have thru-out the cottage. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and there were several things we appreciated. The location was excellent, the home was quiet and beautiful, and it was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen was adequately stocked with the basics needed for preparing meals.That said, there were a few disappointments that impacted our comfort. The beds were quite uncomfortable, and the linens and comforters were very thin. The beds did not have sheets on them when we arrived, which wasn't what we expected. There were only a few pillows, and they were very thin as well. The living room furniture consisted of outdoor-style wicker furniture, which wasn't comfortable for relaxing indoors. The sleeper sofa also collapsed easily, making it difficult to use. We were also surprised that there was no dishwasher.One thing that should definitely be disclosed in the listing is that guests are required to transport their own trash to a transfer station using their personal vehicle. This was unexpected and inconvenient.Overall, the property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and in a great location, but improvements to the bedding, furnishings, and disclosure of guest responsibilities would make for a much more comfortable stay.

So sorry you did not find some of the accommodations to your liking. I am in the process of updating the linens. As far as the trash and lack of a dishwasher, both are addressed in the information sent to you prior to your arrival as well as on the website. The sheets are provided but left off the beds for a reason. Not every bed is used by a guest and it doesn't make sense to strip every bed if it hasn't been used. This is a house and not a hotel room. Thank you for staying at our cottage.

Beautiful and clean home. Very comfortable stay. Thought the water access would be a bit closer but it certainly didn’t ruin our stay! Great location for accessing nature trails, lighthouse, kayaking, dining, and shopping if that’s your thing. Wish we had a few more days for sure!

We had such a great time. The property is very nice easy to walk around. The path to the dock is hard to find, the area and towns are beautiful. The house had everything in it that you needed. Awesome stay.

Wonderful Cabin in a quiet location

We had a great stay at this lovely cabin located near many things, but with peace and quiet surrounding it. The owners were great and let us use their kayaks and canoe to enjoy the nearby large pond. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

We decided to open up our lovely smaller property to renters who could enjoy the peace and serenity of the area as well as the many activities available in the spring, summer and fall.
