The cabin was beautiful and very well appointed. It had everything you could possibly need. We liked how the deck was located above the stream.

This listing over delivered on our expectations! This was our first vrbo, and we were just looking for a spot in the country where we could enjoy nature with our four legged children. The scenery was fantastic, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, sightings of large bald eagles and tiny hummingbirds, and the creek provided the perfect soundtrack. The inside was well decorated and modern, very clean, and provided us everything we needed for our stay. I cannot say enough good things about this place, and the Hosts were easy to work with and answer questions if needed. The perfect place for our getaway!

We wanted to decompress and celebrate my husband's 75th anniversary. Not looking for any adventures. Beauty surrounds this cottage inside and out. Sitting on the deck listing to the babling creek and numerous birds is so relaxing. We had a cardinal vist ever day pecking at the window! The cottage is very comfortable and extremely well stocked. Be careful of the step dow into the bedroom. Only lwft to go to the close grocery store to stock up and quick trip for some wine. Otherwise is was a wonderful week for us old folks.
He visted every day twice a day!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is adorable, clean, and had everything we needed. Sitting out on the deck and listening to the creek was so peaceful and relaxing! The creek also felt amazing to sit in on a hot day after a long hike. We ate all our meals outside, surrounded by the singing birds, and a perfect breeze! Our dog Russell had a really good time too!!!

Perfect Peaceful Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our first anniversary trip and we have never had a more peaceful relaxing vacation. I loved sitting out on the deck listening to the creek and birds and seeing all the fireflies at night. The town of Owego is charming. We did some great day trips to go hiking at Watkins Glen State Park and Robert Treman Park. Both were amazing. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for peace and quiet—you won’t regret it! Thanks Nate and Tara!

Nice stay

Well equipped kitchen and bath. Nice,quiet location. Very clean and well maintained. The only drawback is that it should be noted in description that this is not a good property for older people who use canes or walkers. There is quite a distance to walk from the car to the front door and there are steps up to the door and steps down into the bedroom.

Nice country retreat

My son and I and our poodle were looking for aquiet place in country. The house was beautiful however due to a steep embankment leading to a stream and a neighbor close by that had a dog as ell. I spent most of my time worrying about her . No time relax and enjoy the to enjoy nature. There were eagles and many other birds. This was not a good fit for us unfortunately. In the future will look for a cabin in the woods. No neighbors. Nearby.

When we first saw the natural beauty of the surrounding area, it was love at first sight! It has been said, we have the nicest view of Owego Creek, and we would have to agree. The sounds of nature, and the creek, have a nice calming effect. You will enjoy it as much as we do!
