Wonderful house in Sebastopol

We (3 friends) were looking for a place in Sonoma county to stay because we were doing a wine country yarn hop. The location was great and communication was fantastic with the owner. She gave us some great recommendations for dining and breakfast. The house was comfortable, we had everything we needed. The garden was such a pleasant place to relax. We highly recommend this beautiful home!

Great adventure launching pad

Beautiful home for our family’s winter vacation. We had easy access to plenty of fun adventure activities during the day and an easy walk to town for the evening. Before I go into everything else we loved, I do need to point out that this is the most child friendly and child minded vacation rental we have ever stayed in. So many little touches to tell you the owners of this home love children and have them in mind. We are talking about doing a summer trip and staying here already!The kitchen was excellent for cooking our meals, and there was more than enough room for our family of 4 to spread out. We could easily share the space with another family.If you are not familiar with the town of Sebastopol this is a excellent location to walk through town to explore all the artwork in front of peoples homes and the downtown area.

Lovely home, great location

It's a beautiful home with a great yard for relaxing, just a short walk from shops and cafes of downtown Sebastopol. Host Lori is accommodating, welcoming and good at communicating. She filled the house with little touches to make our stay easy and comfortable.

Perfect get away

The guesthouse has everything you need from a visit to the beach to a family dinner. It is nicely placed to view the Junk Art on Florence Street, visit the beach, and explore wine country.

Great Stay!

We loved our stay a Sebastopol Guest House. It’s an easy walk to downtown (go to Portico Restaurant for some great Italian food) and to The Barlow. It’s a 30 minute drive to Bodega Bay and some fantastic wineries are even closer - we highly recommend a tasting at Zialena. Lori provides a collection of cards for discounted tastings at many wineries. Ives Park is a couple blocks away and if you’re staying during the summer, be sure to go to the Peacetown concert on Wednesday evenings. The private backyard is a nice spot for a morning cup of coffee and wine later in the day. Lori a great host and we are able to meet her when we arrived. She checked in with us the second day of our stay to ensure everything was as expected. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Sonoma County.

Outstanding stay at Lori's house. Great backyard, perfect location, super clean and fully stocked. Lori has thought of everything! There is a cooler, beach towels, extra reading glasses when you can't find yours, even has distilled water for the iron. Pots and pans were in great shape, honestly can't think of one thing this house lacked. Book it

Dream girl’s getaway

The house was perfect and the outdoor area inviting. We could walk to great amenities and it was a short drive to the Pacific Coast and breathtaking views, hiking, golfing and fun lunches. We could not have asked for more and a better time. Thanks Lori!

Loved the attention to detail!!

This is a terrific stay if you are visiting Sebastopol! Lori has put in a lot of thoughtful attention to detail, and we had everything we could have wanted for a comfortable stay. The house is with in an easy walk to restaurants and and shopping in Down town Sebastopol, and there is a Whole Foods close by. We will definitely stay again! Thanks Lori for a wonderful stay!!

Charming home walking distance to town

Girls trip, enjoyed the space. Home is very clean and well stocked. Spacious with a nice yard. Easy walk to town or The Barlow. Only issue was traffic noise being on a fairly busy street.

An absolute gem

This charming home was better than expected. Beautiful and peaceful garden patio for breakfast and dinner. Hummingbirds all around. Easy walk to town for morning pastries and coffee. We loved walking down the neighborhood streets with installation art. The entire town is full of creatives and laid back vibe. Lori is a great host and communication was easy. House had everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave!

Sonoma Gem

I lost count of the amount of times my family said "wow" when we first entered this house. The pictures in the listing do not do it justice, you must see it to really appreciate it. It deserves every 5 star review and more! And special thanks to Lori for being an amazing host (she even found a few items we left in the house and is mailing them to us!). In the week we were here, we explored Sebastopol, spent a day at the Francis Ford Coppola winery in Geyserville, swam in the Russian River in Guerneville, watched the sunset on the Sonoma Coast, and did a day trip to San Francisco. This location was perfect because of its proximity to so many fun activities. We hope to be back!

Peaceful Sebastopol Getaway

We had such a lovely stay at Lori's home. The house is located walking distance to town and is also quite close to many Sonoma County attractions. One of the best features of the property is the private backyard and patio area. My daughters and I loved reading on the back deck while hummingbirds flitted around in the garden. If you are readers, like we are, there is also an extensive collection of fantastic books to choose from. We hope to return to Lori's home in the future!

Location is perfect!

This property is worth every penny! It’s in the best location to wineries and the coast! This is actually our second time staying at this property because of the location and amenities. Lori is a wonderful host!!! If you are looking for a spacious house for family and friends, you don’t need to look any further! We will definitely be back!!

I was born and raised in Oakland, CA, and moved to Sebastopol in 2013. I had been visiting friends in the area for 20 years, and always enjoyed my time in the north bay. Sebastopol also has family ties for me, my Great Grandfather moved his family here from Colorado in the early 1900's and worked for Luther Burbank on his farm. 100+ years later, here I am enjoying Sebastopol. Although the town has changed a lot, I'm sure the reasons for living here haven't changed much, it's a wonderful community.
