WATERS EDGE - WATERFRONT! Waters Edge est une maison de style traditionnel nord-ouest ouverte et spacieuse. Située juste à l'extérieur de Friday Harbor sur le côté est de l'île, cette maison a des planchers de béton chauffés au niveau principal qui comprend la suite principale. Le salon dispose d'une cheminée au propane pour une ambiance relaxante pendant que vous profitez de la vue magnifique sur le canal de San Juan, l'île jaune et en regardant le ferry passer. La cuisine est entièrement équipée et spacieuse. Les comptoirs en bloc de boucherie, la table de cuisson au propane et les vues sur l'eau feront de la préparation des repas une activité agréable.

La suite principale au niveau principal est meublée d'un lit queen-size et comprend un foyer au propane, un accès à la terrasse, une vue sur l'eau et une salle de bain principale avec une douche carrelée surdimensionnée. La chambre en mezzanine au niveau supérieur est également meublée d'un lit queen-size et dispose d'une salle de bains contemporaine adjacente avec douche carrelée.

Cette propriété est au bord de l'eau à rive moyenne ne permettant pas l'accès direct à l'eau.

Sometimes you stay somewhere so special you don’t want to tell anyone about it. Or maybe buy it. This was one of those places. The view was incredible. The house was beautifully maintained. Location was perfect. Quiet, but an easy drive to town. We can’t wait to return next year.

Wonderful, quiet location. We visited in winter and loved the stay. The home was very clean, the kitchen was better equipped than any other rental we’ve stayed in. Plenty of towels and supplies. The managing company was very responsive. Check in was very simple. We would stay again.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful setting, very peaceful. The view was exceptional and the home had all of the essentials needed for a comfortable getaway. There was a lot of space for 3-4 people.

Please be mindful that the 2nd bedroom is a loft above the kitchen. My only complaint is that we were not allowed to use the master bedroom closet so we had to hang our clothes in the front hall closet. We had a great time!!!

The homeowner has the master closet designated for their own personal items, but as there is access to the hallway closet they believed that to be a fair trade. Nice Location/Aged Property/Horrible Property Management

The property's location is out of town so you will need a car. Taxis on San Juan Island are unpredictable. The property needs a rehab/upgrade. There is one tv in the entire property which is the size of a PC monitor. San Juan Property Management is laughably incompetent. We rent houses all over the world and San Juan Property Management is the worst we have dealt with. Finally, for VRBO, why is it I agree with your terms and conditions, reserve a property (like this property) and THEN I receive San Juan Property's terms and conditions?

It’s a good thing our self-worth isn’t reliant upon your opinion, or we’d really be in trouble! We actually think we’re a pretty nice company of people, and we strive to provide our guests with a relaxing and comfortable experience while on San Juan Island. It seems your extreme disappointment in our company stemmed from a few pantry items you didn’t find in the rental house (per your email to us upon your checkout). We feel this review is an odd reaction, but who are we to judge if you are passionate about spices? Water’s Edge is a popular, clean, well-maintained, vacation rental home with a spectacular view of San Juan Channel. We wish you had enjoyed your time at this special place.

The home is well cared for and is large for a two bedroom. The closet in the master is reserved for the owner so the hanging storage is limited to the hall closet. The secondary bedroom is open to the kitchen and the two sided fireplace creates some privacy issues for the master. The TV arangement is less than ideal. That said I would rent it again without question. The house is special.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. Mom and Dad and 2 young adult sons. Only queen beds, so we brought a sleeping pad for one of the boys. This rental has a truly magical view of the water and neighboring islands - it was very relaxing to be out on the deck enjoying the view. The kitchen is well appointed, and the home is spotless. Be aware that there is not a lot of privacy in this rental. Sound carries, the loft bedroom is open to below, and there is only a screen over the two sided fireplace between the bedroom and the living room. The boys couldn’t sleep in, no matter how quietly we made coffee they heard us. WiFi was a little slow when all 4 of us were using it, but I did a video call while telling everyone else to stay off and it worked well. Bring a hair dryer if you need it; there is only one and it is missing a required diffuser so I couldn’t use it. (I’ll message the managers, I imagine they will get that fixed.) Overall an excellent stay, the view is better than the pictures and the home is lovely.

Stunning views and great location, with some missing details.

I came from Seattle with my partner & in-laws who were visiting from out of state and wanted to see the islands. The property location is supreme, just a five minute drive from Friday Harbor, making grocery shopping, exploring, & accessing the ferry effortless. The home is beautiful with jaw-dropping views of the Salish Sea; you could spend hours sitting on the deck watching the light change with the passing sun; on our first evening we even saw two humpback whales swimming by. Kitchen was spacious and well-stocked, and we appreciated the books and thoughtful touches throughout. My primary comments for improvement would be some thoughtful updates to sleeping accommodations. Both mattresses felt old, creaky, and misshapen after presumed years of use, and pillows were thin and flimsy. The wide windows that offer such beautiful views proved troublesome for sleeping during the northwest's long summer days, as darkness didn't settle until 10pm and we were all woken by the early summer sunrise pouring in at 5am with no blinds to help us fall back to sleep. As a result, all four of us slept poorly both nights of our stay. I would also recommend a larger tv with improved seating layout for visitors who may want to unwind and watch a movie together after a full day exploring the island. All in all, this is a beautiful property with incredible views in a fabulous location, but more care could be paid to physical comfort and details that consider visitor's experience in the space.

The view is exceptional! We even watched a pod of orcas swim by along with an eagle landing in a tree off the deck and sticking around while we had coffee. The sunrises and sunsets were a continually changing show of colors on the water and islands for hours and hours in the summer! We loved our stay!

The place was so wonderful we did not want to leave. The view was everything!! And the house itself was lovely. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. Such a peaceful and gorgeous setting with all the big windows. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the 3 nights we were there. Also, it's located just close enough to Friday Harbor to be convenient. Highly recommend!

The water views from most rooms and the deck are excellent. We watched Orcas swim by on our first night. The house is very clean and is well maintained. One suggestion would be to fix/improve the water pressure in the master shower. The water pressure from the faucets throughout the house and the upstairs bathroom are fine. Would stay here again.

We saw bald eagles, hummingbirds, deer, fish jumping out of the water, AND orcas swam right by us one late afternoon! Beautiful, clean place with lovely views. I didn't want to leave.
