EntiÚrement rénové (mai 2014) chalet de plage privée 4B / 2B. EntiÚrement meublé avec CHAUFFAGE CENTRAL ET CLIMATISATION. Idéalement situé à quelques pas de l'action et du plaisir sur la bande à quelques pas de la plage privée pour bronzer et nager. Tout cela dans un quartier paisible, calme et privé!
Cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e (vaisselle, verres, casseroles et poĂȘles, argenterie, cafetiĂšre, grille-pain, micro-ondes, cuisiniĂšre Ă  gaz, rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, serviettes et torchons). 4 chambres privĂ©es pour 8 personnes, complĂštes avec draps et oreillers - # 1- Pleine grandeur, # 2 - Queen Size, # 3 - 2 lits jumeaux, # 4 - 1 Twin avec lit gigogne. (OCCUPATION LIMITÉE À 8 PERSONNES)
Deux salles de bains; A l'Ă©tage a une baignoire. En bas a une douche. Les deux salles de bains sont remplies de serviettes, de serviettes pour les mains et le visage et de papier de soie, de savons pour le bain et les mains. Barbecue Ă  gaz et table de pique-nique dans l'arriĂšre-cour.

The property pic and info were a little misleading. We thought the house was right by the lake with a real beach to relax on. The house could use some maintenance. We enjoyed the strip and overall we had a real good time with our friends.

A perfect location

This house is everything we were looking for and more! It is a wonderful location, you can walk to everything on the strip. The house was very clean and comfortable and a perfect gathering space for our family and friends to visit. It was a perfect space for us all. We love the beach and to have coffee out at the bench on the water! Sunsets are incredible!

The location is just perfect if you’re visiting the strip!! It a cute summer cottage fully stocked with almost Everything you need. The beds and linens absolutely need some attention- new mattresses are much needed. However, since we were only there for the weekend we made the best of it. Plenty of seating and space-parking was not an issue. We felt safe our entire stay. Host was in contact and communication was great!

Best of Two Worlds Stay

The property itself was nice. Most the rooms were clean. However, in the kitchen there was clearly mouse poop in one of the cabinets under the sink that could have been cleaned out. There were 2 unwashed cookie sheets in the oven that we had to clean out to use, and the coffee maker wasn't emptied with mold on the inside. There was also an empty plastic water bottle lying on the bedroom floor. Also, the backyard space could've been cleaner. Karen was nice and easy to talk to however and we had a good time on the trip. Also, for people with younger kids, they should be aware that they are very close to the strip and the music plays loudly into the night.

The Best Find

This was probably one of the best stays we’ve had at Geneva given the property. It was spacious and extremely clean. The sun room was probably our favorite spot! There was enough beds for 8 of us to sleep, as well as plenty of towels for all guests. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, and cooking essentials. The back of the house had a fire pit and grill. Extra folding chairs were provided as well. It was close enough to the strip that we could hear bands from Sportsterz, but just off the path enough that we were bombarded by the traffic of the strip. Located right in the middle, so we didn’t have to walk far for fun. Host was the sweetest woman who responded quickly with any questions. Highly recommend checking out this for your next stay!

Best of two worlds

On vrbo it said there were two queen and two full beds upstairs but there was only one bed in each room and 2 twin beds upstairs. Trundle bed downstairs. We all wanted our own bed so that is one reason why we choose this cottage. Two had to sleep on the couch and love seat. So that was awful!

Nice cottage, carnival atmosphere

Cottage was nice. Nothing fancy but clean and good price. The town of GOTL is quite the place. Big biker culture. So lots of dive bars, arcades and live music venues. But plenty to do for kids and unique shopping. Enjoyed our time in this eccentric town, but when this listing says it’s in the heart of the strip, they MEAN it. It is steps from the heart of the strip. So if you want peace and quiet, this is not the place. But we enjoyed the vibe and had fun. Beach was decent but small. Overall would recommend if you like to go out and party and walk home.

Great place

Karen was so easy to communicate with during our stay. Our power went out and she was kind enough to check with the electric company and gave us an estimated time. The location of the home was perfect. Other driving to a few wineries we never moved our cars. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the beach

We were all very pleased with the cottage. The location was good as far as walks on the strip. We were disappointed in how much the rock music traveled to the cottage. That was the only negative we experienced. The luxury of a second shower would have been helpful with the adults, but we managed fine. We were especially pleased with how quickly a couple concerns were addressed when we arrived. Our manager was most pleasant and very helpful.

Eveything you need

What can i say if your thinking about it do it. Pack a few personal items and go. They provide everything, i mean every thing. Opened the door walked in we were good for the week. Very clean and comfortable.

Our mother grew up here in GOTL living with her grandmother in the 1920's. After marrying our father and moving to California and then Florida for many years, our parents decided to return to the lake and purchased this cottage in '84 as a summer retreat. With their passing, we wanted to keep the GOTL heritage alive and took charge of the cottage in 2011. We updated the cottage almost from the ground up with new windows, electric, insulation, wood, tile & carpeted flooring. Central Air Conditioning and heat duct work was added to every room but the sun room. In 2014, we completed furnishing, decorating and stocking Happy Trails Cottage to create a comfortable, fun, easy living space where guests can go to the private beach and relax and swim or jump into the action along Ohio's first Lake Resort town. We look forward to having you visit and enjoy your stay in Happy Trails Cottage!
