Perfect place to stay

The house was big, beautiful and the perfect location! Beautiful view of intercoastal waters and just five minutes to the ocean front beach. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely time and the host was very accommodating and easy to contact. Highly recommend.

Great family home

My husband and I stayed with our daughter, her husband and our two grandchildren ages three and eight. The house was clean and decocorated very nicely. Just a short drive to the beach and shopping. Will definitely plan to stay again.

Huge!

The house and property were beautiful and the pictures did not do it justice. It was huge and roomy inside. We were able to hang out and have lots of sister time in the evening. Beautiful views and literally a mile away from the beach. It was wonderful

Great Beach Get Away

Very clean and well decorated home. Plenty of room for our group of 6. Nice new stainless steel appliances. New furniture. We really enjoyed the area, the beach was fantastic, water was very warm. We parked at the North End of Topsail and there was a free public parking lot with room every day. Restaurants were great. Shaka Taco, Daddy Mac's for Seafood. Got pizza from Nunzio's in Hamstead - all were excellent. We loved the accommodations, plenty of room, two bath rooms. Nice new HD TV in the living room with cable. WIFI worked great. We loved the place !

Family time

I was very happy with the location to the beach. Had a couple of issues, the microwave, tv in the second bedroom didn't work and the dryer quite work in the middle of the cycle. Gabby the property quickly replaced the microwave but couldn't address the other two issue in time before it was time to go. All and all I would revisit this property again. Gabby was great to work with.

One to two small family get away

This was a last minute booking for a large family of 8 adults and 2 children. It was very nice, and fit all of us. Unfortunately, it was too cozy for us adults sharing rooms and living room space. It would be best for one to two small families.

Awesome place. Sparkling clean. Super nice property manager.

This is a super clean house. Almost everything are brand new. Very professional. Very thoughtful property owner. Property manager is very nice and help is easily accessible. Location is less than 2 miles to the surf city fishing pier, only 1 mile to boat rental. Convenient to shops and restaurants. Neighbors are nice. Thank you for a great place and service.

Damaged by hurricane

Damaged by hurricane and she is not going to fix it up mold underneath the cooktop and the cabinet mold at the front entrance hardwood floors buckled up throughout the house that means water damage

I'm sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. As you can see from the previous review from hurricane scientists the house was in perfect condition even after the hurricane. We used this home as area of refuge when our own home was suffering damage. The home was reviewed by the insurance adjusters and we are very fortunate it does not have any hurricane damage at all (besides 2 missing shingles which were repaired in 1 week). The air vent under the cook top has been repaired (which was not a result of the hurricane but that of improper sealed ventilation duct) and the home has new french doors replacing an ill fitting side entrance door. Previous guest rating show the trend of how we care for all of our guests and the condition of this home. We are proud of our ratings from previous guests that treated our home with love and respect. Previous guest also followed the rental agreements and did not damage the home during their stay. The new surf city bridge is finally built and is a wonder to see! The home is ready for vacation season and we are excited to have our guest enjoy their stay at this beautiful beach town.

Post-Florence Reconnaissance

The house was as advertised even just after hurricane Florence. A team of National Science Foundation researchers were housed here following the hurricane to collect data on damage to infrastructure systems. The house was an excellent home base and the owner provided amazingly fast response. Sincere thanks for making this available so quickly following the hurricane. Our best wishes to the area during recovery.

Clean, well maintained home

Home was exactly as described and pictured in the listing. Very clean and well maintained. We had 4 adults and one child and had plenty of room. Home is located in a very quiet area, short drive to the beach and restaurants. Our stay was cut short due to Hurricane Florence evacuation. Owner was very easy to communicate with and to work with during our shortened stay.

Wonderful beach weekend

Our family had a wonderful time renting this house. The house is clean and nicely decorated. The house gives nice views of the inter coastal looking over the tops of other homes nearby. It was walking distance to the waters edge but not the beach. That was an easy drive. Overall we enjoyed our weekend.

Convenient, right for the price beach get away

Overall we were really happy with our stay. The house was beautiful. It was clean, beautifully decorated and well taken care of. It was conveniently located 5 minutes from the town and beach so we couldn't have asked for a better location for the price. The only downside was that upon check out we were not able to just put the dishwasher on and leave. Some rentals allow that so upon realizing that we needed to leave it empty we had to then do all of the dishes. The area was beautiful and the house perfect so really there are no other complaints!

Very nice house with a great deck

This house was right next to a camp ground but it was very quiet in the evening. The beach is just down the road and we had some pretty good waves. The only drawback for older people would be lots of steps but worth it in my opinion.

A family of fishermen dreams of being on the water with loads of just caught fish. That dream led us to purchase this home to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The ocean has not let us down yet....we have spent many hours with our family in this home and on the waters of surf city.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This home is equipped with a covered area that you can park your boat and your car. There is a water source to allow you to clean your fish and prepare them for cooking! Side yard allows for play area for the children. The street is quiet and very safe. Fireworks can be seen from the deck of the porch.
