Belle maison Marigny (à pied du quartier français minutes)

Cette charmante maison des années 1800 est une maison individuelle située au coeur du quartier historique de Marigny. Nous sommes à seulement pùtés de maisons de la célÚbre quartier français, le marché français et Frenchmen Street (célÚbre quartier Jazz).

Le Marigny est l'un des quartiers les plus dynamiques et intéressants dans la Nouvelle-Orléans.

Notre quartier est presque tout le nécessaire pour vivre, marchés alimentaires, boulangeries, restaurants, boutiques, salons, bars, cafés ... etc.

Chaque chambre est meublée avec un nouveau matelas de haute qualité en mousse à mémoire, couettes, et 100 feuilles% de coton. Chaque chambre dispose d'une commode, tables de nuit, et télévision par cùble.

Nous sommes à distance de marche du quartier français, Esplanade Ave et le marché français.

Nous sommes Ă©galement Ă  proximitĂ© de musĂ©es, parcours de golf, navigation de plaisance sur le lac Pontchartrain, kayak dans le parc de la ville, pĂȘche, rĂ©serves naturelles, visites des marais, visites de plantations et bien plus encore.

Amazing Marigny 2 months!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Marigny - a perfect location to live in a neighborhood close to but not in the French Quarter! We had everything we needed for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs and was a pleasure to get to know the area as a temporary local. Would highly recommend staying at the Vivien - great owners with lots of amazing local recommendations! Will be back again!

Stay in the Marigny

This was a wonderful house for our month longs stay in NOLA. From the full service market across the street, to the music and food just a few blocks away on Frenchman's Street to an easy walk to the heart of the French Quarter. The furniture and beds we're very comfortable and Phillip was available when ever we needed something. The backyard garden was a wonderful place to sit and read or have a nice drink. No question we would stay there again on a return trip to New Orleans.

This property was the best we have ever stayed at. It was better than advertised. The house manager was very responsive and informative on location area experiences. We would definitely choose this location next time we visit.

Great Hosts, Fabulous Neighborhood

Beautiful historic home, so convenient to Frenchman Street and French Quarter, lovely grocery store/takeout/coffee/etc. all walkable. Was great for 2 couples + 1 Single Adult + 1 Baby. You have to accept & enjoy the historical layout of the house, but it is absolutely workable, and a great value. Yard and area to enjoy morning coffee/afternoon drinks is also a big bonus. Thank you for having us!

What a wonderful house!

My girlfriends (cousins) and I stayed at the Vivien House for the 4th of July weekend. We had a wonderful time in New Orleans and a great time staying at the house. The host was so kind, accommodating and thoughtful. It was a short walk to the Quarter and my favorite restaurants in NOLA. Short Uber ride to the Convention center and Superdome. The house is so cozy and cute and was perfect for the 5 of us. I woudl definitely want to stay there again if I'm ever back in NOLA.

Clean, comfortable with the charm of New Orleans. Great location! Leave your car at the house and walk every where. Close to the Jazz District , French Quarter, Bourbon Street and Market. All the restaurants and bars you need are in walking distance. Food store right across the street. The owner met us to give us the keys and was nice enough to give us a tour of the area. He was very easy to reach if you needed anything. Enjoy!

5 Stars! Wonderful stay with Chita at the Marigny Home!

I booked this stay with Chita long in advance as it was a big weekend for my friends and I, and we were worried about an Airbnb as we had experienced cancellations in the past, and I expressed this worry to Chita when explaining my shift to VRBO. Not only was I assured they very rarely, if ever, cancel, but I was met with very warm hospitality and was met with every option to work with Chita to make sure everything worked smoothly, The house was very spacious and unique, it felt very true to New Orleans which we were very big fans of. Upon arriving, we were given a tour and provided with recommendations for everything we could have hoped. The location was good and I felt very safe with security systems and locks on all the doors. If you are trying to decide on a place to stay for a trip to New Orleans and you are considering the Marigny House, STOP Looking, because it does not get much better than this. I believe that this experience truly defines what home-staying is and what VRBO is all about. I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed everything and I hope you make the same great decision we did! Many Thanks to Chita and Family, it was a wonderful trip!

Great for Girls Weekend Close to French Quarters

This house was perfect for our 40th Birthday Girls Weekend. We loved the back yard, the room for 6 and the 2 bathrooms. The location was about 20 minutes to downtown, super close to the delicious grocery store, several restaurants and bars. Erin even took us around town before we settled in, which was very helpful. I would recommend this stay for larger groups, but that want the option to settle in at night from the day's activities.

The perfect birthday weekend!

Chita and Erin were very responsive and welcoming, this was our first time using VRBO and the experience was amazing. This house is so beautiful and has everything you could need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the cozy backyard filled with beautiful plants. There is an awesome market only a few minutes walk too! I had my best birthday yet at The Vivien House and we can't wait to go back.

Perfect home in a dynamic neighborhood

We truly enjoyed our stay. There were six of us for an extended weekend. The house has tremendous character and the location allowed us to meander easily to Frenchmen St as well as the Quarter and all around the town. We recommend the place to everyone !

We just love it here!

Erin was so incredibly helpful providing everything we needed while staying in this Rare Jewel

The pictures on HomeAway did not do the house justice and we had the wonderful garden space that is impossible to find in New Orleans. A relaxing space to enjoy and a very safe dog friendly home. Right across the street was a Gourmet Grocery Store with ready made foods and fresh produce (like Whole Foods or H-E-B) Erin was only a txt away and very kind and attentive to our finding services we needed. She put me in touch with Dawn(a vet tech) at her personal vet that sat with our Corgis while we were at a Celebration of Life. Dawn was great with our dogs and I did not worry about them being in a strange place. An excellent overall experience. BTW I met two of the neighbors that were friendly and helpful. Beautiful house in a great location

If you are looking to visit New Orleans and want someplace within walking distance of the French quarter but not too close this is the place. Also close to trolley to see everything else the city has to offer. House is gorgeous with a lot history and a very private backyard for relaxing after a busy day walking around New Orleans. There is a full service grocery store right across the street with hot food and drinks for those times when you don't want to go out. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house, Wonderful location!!! Would stay here again!!!

EASY walk to the music in Marigny! A few more blocks to the French Market or to Bourbon Street. We walked almost everywhere and got to see so many cool pieces of the city. We did take the trolley a couple times and that was very close and super easy to use. The house was great - lots of charm! Loved being able to have breakfast at "home" and then venture out for the day. We also liked being able to do laundry as it was really hot during our visit. Would recommend this house!

Great house!

What a wonderful historic house! The pictures on the site don’t do it any justice, the house is actually more beautiful. The living room is enclosed with a door so privacy is not an issue. Very clean and had all the amenities. A grocery store is just across the street and it’s only a few blocks from the Jazz District. Would definitely stay here again!
