3bed / 2. 5 marches de bain Ă  la plage, Oasis In Wildwood Crest

Notre unitĂ© est Ă  quelques pas de la plage Wildwood Crest expansive avec d'excellentes vues depuis le balcon et la chambre principale de l'Atlantique! C'est la seule plage du New Jersey qui s'agrandit (et ne s'Ă©rode pas)! Nous avons rĂ©cemment mis Ă  jour cette unitĂ© avec de la peinture fraĂźche, des dĂ©corations, des tĂ©lĂ©viseurs LED SMART Ă  Ă©cran plat (dans chaque piĂšce), de l'Ă©clairage et des meubles de patio. Il y a bien sĂ»r un accĂšs Internet Wi-Fi gratuit. La cuisine est entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec des ustensiles, des casseroles, des poĂȘles, une nouvelle cafetiĂšre et un nouveau four grille-pain. Les chambres / canapĂ©-lit sont confortables et se combinent pour accueillir un total de 8 personnes.

Le Mare Bella est idéalement situé à proximité de la plage, mais aussi de la célÚbre promenade de Wildwood. Un fait peu connu: il y a plus de manÚges sur les jetées de Wildwood qu'à Disney World! Les magasins, les jeux et la nourriture abondent sur la promenade de 1. 85 milles de Wildwood. Il y a quelque chose pour chacun. Le vélo est encouragé avant 11 heures tous les jours avec plusieurs magasins de location de vélo à proximité (ou apporter le vÎtre). Il y a un porte-vélos en plein air prÚs du grill extérieur communautaire au Mare Bella.

Wildwood Crest est souvent salué comme «The Dolphin Capital» avec des observations fréquentes à proximité de la plage. Si vous voulez plus, la ville voisine de Cape May a plusieurs croisiÚres Dolphin / Whale --- un must! Les restaurants sont abondants dans «le Crest» ainsi que de multiples, d'excellents cuisines authentiques.

My family and I enjoyed the stay. The condo was perfect, 3 bedrooms 2.5 baths. Nice private balcony with ocean view. Perfect location to the beach and about 2 miles from the boardwalk with Jitney service starting at 5:00. We even enjoyed our time there during hurricane Erin didn't spoil our fun. My only issues were: the elevator was not working the whole time we were there and we were on the 3rd floor. Lugging luggage was not fun! Out of 4 Tv's only 1 worked.

Return visit

This was our third stay at Mar Bella. The location is perfect and just steps from the beach. Last year we stayed at a unit on a lower level. We returned this year for a second go around to this particular unit with eyes wide open. Cleanliness however remains an issue with this unit. The comforters had hair and so we did not use them. There were plenty of pillows however most had some sort of stain. The master bedroom bed had stains on the mattress cover which was unfortunate because the bed itself was very comfortable. I suggest bringing your own mattress and pillow covers. None of the trash cans in the bathrooms or rooms had bags and one trash can was full of garbage. There were only two bathroom rugs in the master bath leaving the second shower without any rugs. We ended up moving one rug to avoid slipping when getting out of the second shower. I was glad to see the shower curtain was washed since our last visit. The kitchen had the bare minimum, there were no grill utensils and there wasn’t a can opener. We had to be very creative to cook. There were 4 different coffee makers however they were really dirty and we ended up deep cleaning one for use. We did appreciate that there were coffee filters available for use. Although the rooms have TVs only the living room has cable. Netflix is the only option on the bedroom tvs. I was glad to see the balcony furniture had been updated. The light is out on the balcony but we didn’t mind sitting out there in the dark.

Inaccurate listing

We specifically booked this property because it had a great location and a pool right across the street. When we arrived, we enjoyed the location, however we noticed that it was not completely clean. When walking on the floors, our feet turned black from dirt and sand. We then inquired with the owner about how we access the pool across the street, and his only response was that "I am sorry. I owned the motel across from the unit which I sold. We do not have access to the pool." Our booking clearly stated that there was a pool across the street for our use, and that was a big reason we booked the property. Our family had been very much looking forward to using the pool across the street. However, when I questioned the owner and expressed my unhappiness, I did not get a response. I left him two voice mails the following day without a response. I then contacted Vrbo to request financial compensation for the misrepresented listing. Vrbo agreed this was a violation, however when they contacted the owner, he wouldn't agree to any financial compensation. His only offer was the use of a pool at one of his other condos, which was much farther away. We would have expected an owner to do anything to make sure his renters were happy and satisfied. However, this owner kept his communication to a bare minimum, with very short, curt responses. Overall a nice location, but we are very unhappy with the misrepresented listing and the owner's unwillingness to compensate us in any way.

Summer vacation

Property was advertised as having a pool across street at Saratoga inn however owner no longer has a condo there and therefore no use of that pool. We were offered use of pool much further away which I do not consider that as advertised “with pool” ! Also add on VRBO still states “with pool”. Also no regular tv channels only Amazon, Netflix and some limited tv shows” Water pressure also not good Host was very kind nonetheless.

Wonderful Property in Amazing Location!

A huge factor in our choosing this property was the proximity to the water. Having spent many summers schlepping all the beach stuff over the sands of the larger Wildwood beaches we wanted something closer and this was PERFECT. Such a joy to be able to hear the waves in the evening from the balcony. Regrettably the listing states pool and there is no pool. The owner (he is amazing to deal with!) was up front about this but it was still listed inaccurate. Overall a wonderful condo very close to the beach as well as the bike path and playgrounds. Another huge bonus is having two parking spaces!!

The Shower Didn't Work

The location is good. The unit is nice but could have been cleaner. However, when we arrived one of the showers did not work. The owner said he did not previously know about the issue, which would mean that the earlier renter and the cleaning people didn't say anything about it. I find that unlikely. The owner initially implied that, since there was a second shower in the unit, it was not a problem that needed to be addressed. When I pushed him on it he retained his wife's, co-worker's boyfriend, who was not a plumber, to fix the shower. That man showed up once to look at the shower and see what was needed, then did not show up the next day to fix it (we waited for him), then showed up the following day but said he had the wrong parts then didn't show up the day after that. The owner then retained another gentleman, who also did not appear to be a professional plumber, who came once to look at the problem and then spent 4 hours in the middle of the following day ripping through the wall in the closet of the bedroom where my daughters slept to access the inner shower area. When doing the work, that man turned off the water running to both showers and when he left, neglected to turn the water back on to the other, good shower. I didn't have the tools to turn the water back on myself, so we couldn't use that shower for a day. For 6 out of the 7 days we were there we only had use of 1 shower. Despite the fact that we paid more for a 2 shower unit and had to deal with this incredible hassle, the owner does not believe we are entitled to any sort of reimbursement.

Vacation August 2022

Location was perfect with a great view of the ocean from the balcony. There was a storage room with beach chairs etc. just outside the door to the unit. The second bedroom was advertised as having one queen bed, but there were 2. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. The kitchen knives were a bit dull. If you plan on preparing meals, I suggest you bring your own chef knives.

First timers at wildwood crest

Our first time using VRBO and staying in wildwood crest. Location was perfect, 1/2 block from beach. Rooms were spacious and the apartment comfortably fit the 8 of us. Received the wrong door code on our check in documents but a phone call is all it took to fix the matter. The apartment cleanliness was just ok. The blankets did not appear freshly laundered and the white shower curtains needed changing as they were pink. Due to Covid concerns, we disinfected all surfaces as soon as we arrived. The place did not smell of bleach or cleaning products so it was doubtful that a thorough cleaning was done before we arrived. The master bathroom had an almost finished roll of toilet paper at check in. Luckily, there is Shop rite 10 min away and an Acme just a few minutes away that had all the essentials. The kitchen was fairly stocked with glasses, plates, pots/pans. The pantry was essentially empty. The coffee maker stopped working on the second morning but a phone call and walk across the street solved the issue. We were given an old standard coffee maker that needed a good cleaning but eventually did the job. We also spent a good amount of time sorting out the TVs as the remotes were not paired and some of the cable wires were not connected to the TV. A phone call didn’t help this situation since we were told folks don’t watch TV since they’re out all day. I agree with the statement but we did like to watch the news in the evening. The building is well kept and clean, the beach shower behind the building had no water pressure but luckily they had a hose connected to the lower foot washer with great water pressure that did the job! The building is also very quiet, never heard the neighbors unless we were both on the balconies. The street itself was quiet and peaceful except the mornings when they picked up the garbage. The balcony was great for sitting and having coffee. They’ll need to wash or update the outdoor cushions soon as they are getting musty and have lost their cushion. Wildwood Crest was amazing. We rented bikes a few blocks from the condo and rode along the boardwalk daily. The rides and arcades were great fun for the kids. Great places to eat both within walking distance and just a short ride in the car. There were no Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks nearby and the Dunkin on the boardwalk always had a long line. Next time I’ll just bring my own little keurig for my morning. A great time and would return in the future.

Great condo - so spacious!

We had a wonderful stay at Mare Bella! The condo was so spacious, good sized bedrooms, kitchen, and living area! We loved the balcony area and the close proximity to the beach.

The property is very conveniently located, just off the beach.

The owner is very nice but a little disorganized. We signed the contract and sent it in with a check but never received a signed contract in return. We called and e-mailed a couple of times and he always said he would get it to us but never did. It made us uneasy not knowing if we really had a place to stay or not. The condo itself is spacious and comfortable. The balcony is fantastic and you can see the beach from there. The kitchen is well stocked if you wish to cook or eat dinner at home.

Excellent stay!

Everybody loved the condo, just a few steps from the beach, the balcony is great & spacious, everything was very good. Two car spaces and bike rack was also helpful. The owner is a very nice gentleman we had the pleasure to meet. Highly recommendable!

Wonderful Vacation!

My family and I just returned from Wildwood Crest and had a wonderful time! The condo was extremely spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and well equipped. The location could not be beat! Being just steps from the beach, with a gorgeous view from the balcony was priceless. My teenage boys were able to pick up the Jitney right in front of our condo for easy trips to the Boardwalk. The owners were very cordial and always on hand should I have any questions. I would highly recommend this unit for families and couples.
