This was a little oasis in the heart of old Ajijic, very close to the LCS. The hosts, Bob and Sharon, lived in the main home on the property and were welcoming and provided helpful information. There are two casitas that share the common pool area, and we enjoyed meeting other interesting travelers and sharing stories. We were in Casita 2, which has an outdoor kitchen that we enjoyed for preparing breakfasts or reheating restaurant leftovers. The only inconvenience was that the water and sink were indoors. We were aware of this before booking and were adaptable to it. Casita 1 has an indoor kitchen instead. The room was long and narrow with a comfortable bed and various seating in tthe same room. There were many seating options indoors and outdoors for relaxing. They have a number of friendly pets that are not allowed in the pool area (except for their cat who can climb the wall) and we do not have pet allergies. We enjoyed our stay!

Oasis in the heart of Ajijic

My husband and I loved our stay with Bob and Sharon. They are amazing hosts who will go out of their way to make your stay great. The location is perfect for walking to the malecon, shops and all the delicious restaurants. The property is very secure with flowering trees and palms surrounding the pool area for a private oasis feel. The pool is crystal clear and so inviting. We absolutely loved this place and would definitely stay again, location can’t be beat!

Location, location and a cool pool

Loved this casita. Enjoyed the pool almost daily. Water 86 degrees, perfect for me. The outside kitchen is beautiful and functional. Liked having gravity chairs to get some sun. Lots of seating areas. So close to restaurants and easy to walk to the plaza. There was a parking spot out front. The owners Bob and Sharon were so friendly and helpful. Great hosts, great casita

The casita is very centrally located, walkable to everywhere. Coffee shop and lake chapala society garden is next. My wife enjoyed the pool, highly recommend staying here, there are 2 casitas available. Our casita #2 had an outdoor kitchen, we enjoyed having breakfast on the porch next to the pool.

Perfect Location

This property is truly lovely. From the beautiful plumeria and jacaranda trees, to the luxurious pool, we really enjoyed our stay. The casita that we stayed in is fully equipped with everything you need for the kitchen and the bathroom. Quiet, convenient to all the best spots in Ajijic, plus convenient parking if you have a car.

Awkward setup

The kitchen was outside but the sink was inside, which meant you were always carrying dishes in and out. On top of that, each time the door shut it automatically locked. The TV which was supposed to have cable, didn’t and was mounted in an awkward position that was to high to view from the sofa and to far from the bed to be able to read the subtitles. The place was also musty and dark. The location, yard and pets were lovely, but I would never stay there again!

GREAT LOCATION to restaurants, Lake Chapala, the main plaza, banks and shops – all within walking distance. Also easy access to the surrounding areas of Lake Chapala. Thoughtfully planned casita with a FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN (even a kettle and toaster oven!), excellent water pressure for a HOT SHOWER, very COMFORTABLE BED, and a GREAT CLOSET (with lots of hangers!). WONDERFUL HOSTS – friendly, approachable and happy to share info and tips about the area. Loved the welcoming committee of their two dogs and the companionship of their two cats during my two week visit!

Great Location, you can walk to most of the restaurants in Ajijic.

Everything was perfect,. except the on demand hot water in the sink would stop heating up after a couple minutes. The shower was great. A great value for the money. Loved the owners two dogs and cat, very friendly. As a single is was nice to be welcomed home every time I returned. .

My casita was cozy and comfortable, and had everything you need. Terrific bed, great shower, outdoor patio and porch and my favorite was the beautiful tropical foliage surrounding the pool that I have I used everyday. A peaceful and yet central location. Cozy charming casita

The casita was our little home for a month. We loved it! It had everything we needed and the owners were friendly and helpful. The location right in Ajijic village was great. Set on the back of the property, our casita offered us privacy with garden views out the back windows. We highly recommend staying here. “No pets,” however, did not mean pet free. The owners have friendly well behaved dogs and cats on the property. A plus for most, but an obstacle for my severe animal allergies.

Had a Great Time!

I spent the month of February here and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The owners are friendly and incredibly hospitable. I had everything I needed to make delicious meals with a well-stocked kitchen. As a single woman, I felt very safe and could sit on the patio in the evening without worry. There are many good restaurants nearby and the Wednesday Market is just a short walk. I loved having a pool to swim in at the end of the day. If you want to be in the village, this is an ideal location! I would definitely stay here again!
