* Location de luxe * Nouveau duplex de trois étages avec vue sur l'océan. Cet élégant duplex est construit sur mesure en 2014, maison de style contemporain. La maison a une conception en duplex qui place le salon à l'avant de la maison et les chambres à l'arrière, un étage plus haut. Idéalement située à Newport Beach, la maison est proche de plusieurs commodités. C'est au début de la péninsule, très proche du supermarché et à seulement 5 minutes à pied de Newport Pier.

Informations générales:
 Inclus WIFI et télévision par câble. Le WIFI dispose de plusieurs points d'accès pour une excellente couverture dans tout le bâtiment.
Salons: Carrelage au sol et s'ouvre sur le patio / balcon à travers un verre sans cadre de 16 pieds de large qui se replie pour offrir une vue magnifique sur l'océan.
Parking: Le bâtiment peut facilement accueillir 4 voitures partagées entre les unités. Deux voitures dans le garage et 2 dans le carport ouvert.

Literie et linge de maison: draps propres et frais fournis. Un assortiment de serviettes supplémentaires, y compris des serviettes de plage, est également fourni.

Machine à laver et sèche-linge. Situé à l'intérieur de chaque unité à côté des chambres pour plus de commodité.

La cuisine et le salon de l'unité inférieure sont situés au rez-de-chaussée avec la porte vitrée s'ouvrant et donnant accès au patio. L'unité inférieure dispose de 4 chambres / bureau avec 3 salles de bains. Confortable 7 couchages mais peut en dormir un peu plus selon le locataire.

Spécificités de l'unité supérieure (VRBO # 610214):
L'unité supérieure a deux espaces de vie occupant les 2e et 3e étages. Au deuxième étage, il y a une cuisine et un salon avec son propre balcon. Au troisième étage, il y a un salon supplémentaire et un grand balcon et une vue magnifique sur l'océan. L'unité comprend 2 chambres et 3 salles de bains. Il pourra dormir confortablement 4 mais peut en prendre beaucoup plus.

Le propriétaire peut être présent dans sa suite au dernier étage.

House was so close to the beach and restaurants. Loved that we had a dedicated parking space as it gets very busy. Only downfall was the house could use a deep cleaning and other minor repairs. I would stay here again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The unit is spacious, well-stocked and located a few houses from the beach. The kitchen is very well equipped, which was great for preparing Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed eating our meals in the outdoor space with a partial beach view. Having three full bathrooms was also a huge plus. The unit is also within walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants and shops. If you do need to drive somewhere, it is super convenient to have parking at the unit upon your return.James was an excellent host, and very responsive from the beginning. We will definitely be returning!

Location, location, location! We have stayed on 29th or 30th the last 5 years and have house hopped to find the best one for our family, and we found it! Plenty of space, steps to the beach, amazing indoor/outdoor living space, and close to everything. Hope to stay here every year from now on!

Had a wonderful time with my family & friends. Close to beach, grocery stores, shops & restaurants. Parked the car and didn't drive anywhere for the week we stayed. Already want to book for next year. You won't be disappointed.

BEST place in Newport

I have taken my children and their friends to Newport several times. This was by far the best. Upstairs master with Queen and balcony. Two bedrooms each with two twins sharing a bathroom. Washer and dryer near that bathroom. Downstairs another bedroom with a twin and a bathrooom. And then the living area with the glass doors and a walk to beach without having to cross the road. And Pavilions right around the corner. But perhaps the best part z- the open and easy communication with the owner and their response time. Will try to stay here again!!

This house is amazingly close to the beach. Made it so easy to run back and forth. The owner was always quick to respond to questions. The glass doors in the front completely open up all the way across. With the kitchen and living area flowing onto the patio, it was so nice to have such a large open area. Owner has items in the house that are not listed. One important item were fans. With the house not having air conditioning it can get a bit stuffy upstairs. The fans did the trick and kept us comfortable while sleeping. The side of the house had a hose, which was great to wash off our feet so we didn't track in sand. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. 3 full bathrooms came in handy when you have 4 children. The unit wasn't as clean as I would've hoped, but totally comfortable and livable.

Great location and friendly helpful host, but home could use some improvements

This house is a fabulous location for a stay in Newport. It’s close to the beach, restaurants and grocery store. The beds are comfortable and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. The property itself could use some improvements/maintenance, however. The ice machine on the refrigerator was broken yet food on the top two shelves in the fridge would freeze. The clothes dryer does not work. And when we arrived the beds were made with just a top sheet and comforter — no fitted sheet. (Though I did ask for a fitted sheet for one of the beds and the host delivered it immediately.) If those improvements were made, we’d definitely stay there again. Thank you!

It's really the perfect location and a really nice house. The owner is very responsive. The value is excellent. That's why it gets 5 stars despite relatively minor hiccups. The unexpected good: Not mentioned in the description are the 3 beach chairs, the toys, and the boogie board. It's a beach umbrella away from perfection. You don't have to buy paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters, toilet paper, dish soap, ect...I have rented before in Newport and it was expected you buy all of that. The unexpected negatives. This property really needs a small guide book on house operations. It took us 4 days to figure out you have to open the top cabinet to get live TV and it's on HDMI 1 not live TV. None of the switches are labeled and one controls the automated blinds. The gas grill isn't intuitive. Again you can call the host and he explains it but you don't want to seem like a problem. Maintenance wise we got a leak from above in the bathroom and the dryer was loud but the host was responsive in fixing those once we left. Overall it's an excellent property with an excellent host that needs a YouTube channel or a guide book

Nice floor plan

Digital locks to open the garage and house. Such a spacious living area. Bathrooms and bedrooms were neat and tidy. A wardrobe and a twin bed replaced the futon in the small downstairs bedroom. This changed our sleeping arrangements for kids for the first 2 nights. We had weekend guests and were planning for 3 kids in that room with 2 sleeping mats in the floor. Now not enough floor space. We figured it out. The dining table seated 4 and the pictures showed a table for 6. A small folding table was in the first floor bedroom and 4 folding chairs in a large cabinet in the kitchen. Worked for the weekend. Rest of the week there was only 4 of us. Lots of cabinets to store food. Large fridge. All the dishes, utensils, pots & pans we needed. Loved the new electric shades on the glass patio doors. Plenty of chairs on the patio. Loved the hose and gutter between this house and the one next door to wash all the sand off. The tv worked perfectly with Netflix, etc. Internet was good. Three decent bathrooms with ample storage in the vanities. There’s a blow dryer in the master bath. I brought extra bath towels for our weekend guests. For a 4 bdrm house, there should be more towels. So much storage space in the 3 upstairs bedroom closets plus small side tables with drawers for clothes. Loved the plantation blinds in the bedrooms. Beds very comfy. There is a door that shuts between first floor and stairs. Stops any noise. Great stay for us.

Fantastic location 1 block off the beach, near pier and restaurants. Nice wide open glass doors and morning sunshine. It seems smaller than the photos and the furniture has been changed since they were taken -- the big couch has been switched for a smaller one, for example. It's a bit minimalist -- we were not supplied enough towels or dishwasher cubes, for example. But the manager was promptly available to supply us more. We enjoyed the beach and Disneyland. Overall, we would come back.

Great Location, Okay Property

I grew up in So. Cal and return to the Newport area every year with my family, wife and 5 kids 3 to 13. This rental is in a great location. No major street crossings to walk to the sand, quieter neighborhood then further down on the peninsula, very close to the one grocery store in the area. The property manager was quick to respond. Street parking is a huge challenge in Newport. We appreciated the carport parking (fit our Yukon XL). The garage would only fit a small vehicle. The unit was stocked with basic items but other units we’ve stayed in were better stocked. There were 5 total bath towels in the home when we arrived (for 7 people for a week), we called and the manager had someone drop off a few more which was helpful. The glass doors were a novelty, sort of fun to open up on to the porch area and attracted us to the unit. They were a little finicky to operate and we ended up leaving them mostly closed during the week. The unit itself is not as nice as the pictures. There are lots of craftsmanship issues that left us feeling underwhelmed. Corrosion/rust coming through drywall seems, swollen door casing from water damage, cracked tiling. General not high quality work, certainly not luxury. We had trouble with all of the appliances. The fridge froze our food on the top 2 shelves, the dishwasher did not clean well, the dryer cycle was inordinately long. While we were there the master bathroom was in repair. There was exposed plywood directly above the shower in a wet area with signs of drywall water damage all around. I understand the need for repair but as a guest we would have liked to know that before we arrived. It was also clear that the problem that was being repaired was the result of poor workmanship. There should not have been exposed drywall in that area in the first place. Sleep is my number one criteria for choosing a place to stay. The beds were all in good condition, mattresses were fine. The bedding was not ideal. In the master the sheet set did not fit properly and continued to slip off the corners through the night. After a couple nights we bought our own sheets and used those which made for a great night sleep the rest of the week. Probably should have called management about that but didn’t want to bother again. Overall we had a good week. The unit served its purpose for a reasonable home base and we enjoyed our annual vacation in the beautiful area as we always do.

Beautiful location

Great location. Love the front glass that expands the living area. Owners very responsive to questions. A few improvements would enhance the stay: Higher grade washer & dryer, sink drainer, Working ice maker, top shelf of frig unusable, safety light on stairs. We thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to others.

Fun getaway for surf camp

We rented the bottom sction of this three floor house (three of the bedrooms were upstairs). It was as advertised, clean, plenty of towels and kitchen ware. Everything that a family with young kids would need. One minute to the beach, very close walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Owner was very accommodating and responsive, helped us out with a special request after check out. Room to park two cars in the back, which is huge since street parking is a gamble by the beach in Newport. I would recommend!

The owners are Ragaei and Martha Ayoub. Both are career engineers that are nearing retirement age. Because of the engineering background, the duplex was design to maximize the living area within the small lot provided.

While several over house were considered before purchasing this house, this one stood out because of its potential. Original a one story 1926 cottage, the place was bought with the intention to rebuild and start with something fresh. The new duplex has a contemporary feel with a open floor plan.
