Magnifique Condo Beachfront Efficiency sur l'île de South Padre! Mignon, confortable, pratique! Restez et jouez directement sur la plage! Ceci est une unité latérale dans un bâtiment en bord de mer. Grande unité au 2e étage vous donne un accès rapide à la plage - ne pas monter dans la voiture, ou à pied, ou en attendant l'ascenseur. Vous n'avez pas besoin de l'ascenseur (même s'il est fourni), il suffit de descendre ces quelques marches et vous êtes sur la plage! Commencez à construire vos souvenirs de vacances aujourd'hui. Bain à remous, piscine, buanderie sont juste sur la propriété. Proche de toutes les commodités de l'île. Vue partielle sur l'océan depuis votre balcon.

It has everything we needed! The space was well kept and clean and our host was wonderful!! Great with communication and made sure we felt right at home! Would recommend to anybody!

Fully stocked condo including beach chairs. Great location on the beach with a beachfront restaurant/bar in close walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our host was great and very helpful with all our questions and needs. The place was great! Wish the pool had been heated and the hot tub jets working, but the beach access was excellent and we had a great time!

Small piece of heaven

This little condo is perfect for a short getaway. It has the absolute best location. It’s right on the beach, away from loudness at night, clean, secure, and very cozy. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Easy beach access

So easy to get out to beach, with 3 wash areas on your return before stepping back onto property. No key access adds to sense of freedom. Beautiful evening walks on the beach! Host is easily accessible if you have any questions.

Condo on the beach!

Property was absolutely perfect for our small group! (2 adults and 1 child). Ice cold air conditioning, located right on the beach with a partial beach view! Sue was the easiest and best property owner I’ve ever worked with. I would definitely recommend this property!

It was very nice and clean. I liked that we had everything we needed to cook. We had plenty of towels. It was very easy access to the beach. It was nice that we had access to water to be able to wash off the sand from the beach.

Great location

We loved the fact that the property was right on the beach and in close proximity to food and activities. The property is small (as described) but it was perfect for my husband and I. If you are looking for a beach view you are not going to have much of one because the balcony sits on the side of the building. It wasn't a big deal to us because all we had to do was walk our chairs down and sit by the water to watch the sunrise with our coffee! It was a nice, relaxing weekend.

Very nice

This is a quaint little condo right on the beach. Our family was staying at the Inverness right next door so it was very convenient. The beach view was just as stated, just a little between the rails but enough for our stay. Parking is very limited so that wasn't fun, maybe because it was crowded due to the holiday. Small but comfy bed and nice and clean. Be sure to read your notes before going!

Thank you for your stay! I am glad you enjoyed your SPI vacation. Parking during peak times is always a challenge during peak times - but can be done as the complex does tow vehicles without a parking pass. Notes are good to read before staying - thank you for pointing this out!

Had a great time again.

Stayed in the same condo as last year. Sue the owner made everything easy again. Room is a small one bedroom but most people dont go to the island to stay in their room besides to sleep and shower anyway so not an issue. Well kept and clean. Nice property. Even had some locals that live in the building that remembered us from last year and were happy to see us return. Property is in a good spot on the island. A lot of places are within walking distance. Will probably be back again next year.

The accommodations were cute and small. A bit dated but was a comfortable 2 day stay. The building itself is run down and the elevator wreaked of the only thing I can say is body odor x10 with the smell of burnt rubber. It literally smelled so bad I held my breath and ended up taking the stairs since it wasn’t on a high floor. The Florence 1 is in need of some upkeep. I would stay there again purely for the direct beach access.

Condo needs a dust pan. Broom was helpful in sweeping up sand but we couldn’t remove it. Sue wasVery helpful in getting tub repair Needs a better explanation on how to operate tv. Code to gate did not work. We used code from neighbor. Pillow sham and spread needs to be washed. Green blanket is very old. Everything else was great. Would stay again

Great place!

We loved our stay here! It was just two of us, so the place is perfect. It’s very quaint and simple, but it’s just what you need if you want to spend a lot of time on the beach and elsewhere on the island. You can walk out the door, walk down the steps, walk thru the parking garage, and be on the beach in about 30 seconds. You can’t beat that! It’s in a great neighborhood where there’s a nice bike/walking path. The great thing about this location is it it’s very close to lots of good restaurants. Really, all the restaurants are relatively close. (Our favorite was “Viva”. Really good food and great views of the bay.) The host was really cool to work with and very quick to answer our questions. The check-in process was very simple. Although we didn’t use much in the kitchen, it seemed like everything you would need was provided. Be sure to empty the de-humidifier, as it really does make a difference if you keep it consistent. The host does have a couple chairs you can use, but there are also some umbrellas with chairs that you can rent from local companies for about $30 a day. Again, it was a great time. We’d easily go back.

NOT "OCEAN FRONT CONDO"

The listing with VRBO is very misleading. "South Padre Island Ocean Front Condo-Cute as a button". So is the picture of the oceanfront view from the balcony. It is a "side" unit as stated in the description (at least the balcony is on the side), the "unit" faces the street. The balcony is set back into the side of the building and gets absolutely no breeze. 2 pics posting, the second pic is standing at the front edge of the rail on the balcony."Cute as a button", I guess it might have been "cute" 35 years ago.The pool area has lounge chairs but no view of the beach as the wrought iron fences are covered with a black material. It hasn't been updated as far as the furnishings since?? I'm guessing the 70's, that's okay, but the bed and the futon are atrociously uncomfortable. There are 2 plastic chairs in the unit you can sit up straight in, but nowhere that would be comfortable to play cards, no table that is "waist high". There are a few plastic cups to drink out of, but no glassware (ex., no wine glasses or any other). The oven is electric and the cooktop of it has the old electric coils. I fried bacon in an old frying pan that was probably my age (old). On a positive note, the location is good, it is quiet (with the exception of the window air conditioning that is constantly roaring on or off to regulate the temperature), and the owner gives explicit instructions with easy access.I should have realized with the "price" for South Padre, you get what you pay for.
