The location for exploring Naples was excellent. It provided east walking access to the city provided you are in good shape. The apt was well equipped and spacious, large rooms (small kitchen) and well layer out. Security was excellent, host was very gracious.

It was a perfect neighborhood for us, close to necessities but far enough away from the cruise ships and tourist bustle. Claudio went above and beyond when we needed it and was easy to contact.

Nicely-designed place in the quieter, more residential Chiaia neighborhood, but still close enough to everything as long you’re willing to walk a few stairs. Claudio and the entire building staff were also wonderful and very responsive!

Great apartment in quiet area

The property was spacious and well equipped and an escape from the hustle bustle of Naples. The area felt much less touristy which we appreciated. Salvatore, the concierge, was very attentive also. Thank you for a great stay.

Wonderful Location and Accommodating Owner

Great location to shoppping, restaurants and sites to see. Owner was very easy to communicate with and responded immediately to questions. Very accommodating when our flight was cancelled and we had a later arrival than anticipated. We highly recommend this rental and location. We definitely would stay there again when in Naples.

The apartment was well set up and spacious, and peaceful at night. Salvatore, the concierge, was friendly and helpful even with the language barrier! We would happily stay again.

A beautiful apartment in the lovely Chiaia neighborhood in Napoli. Great access to restaurants, waterfront, and the bustling activity of this unique city. Great communication from host and many nice touches in the unit. Highly recommended!

Our stay in Naples

The property itself is very nice and well-kept. It is safe as well. The check-in process was excellent, and the owner was excellent about communication. The only problem with this property is its location. We are older folks, and it was very difficult to manage walking anywhere. We should have been warned about this.

Thank you for your positive evaluation. I as owner and Salvatore as concierge we take great care of the relationship and communication with our guests. In the city of Naples, there are neighborhoods like mine a little elevated from the level of the coast and for those who are in difficulty with a taxi (5/6 Euro - 3 minutes) you can solve the problem.

Attentive host; spacious apartment; thoughtful amenities.

Claudio is a fantastic host. He is very responsive to messages and has outfitted the apartment with nice towels, bedding, toiletries, and cooking basics. We were able to check in quickly and seamlessly with the concierge, Signor Salvatore, who showed us how to use the keys and appliances. The apartment is in a terrific neighborhood…we couldn’t be happier about our stay.

Chiaia delight

Lovely quiet apartment in Chiaia District. Tastefully decorated. Unfortunately we did not meet Claudio, as he was away. However, communication with Claudio was excellent, from the initial booking right to arranging for a taxi at three in the morning so we could catch the Fuimicino Express bus. We loved our stay in Naples.

Five nights in Naples

Fully equipped with well functioning air conditioner and ceiling fans also. Close enough to walk to the city center and the promenade, as long as you can manage hills. We walked everywhere and used the access to the port for day trips out of the city too. The area streets are fascinating. Claudio was most gracious helping with all questions and helped set up a taxi when we left.

Spacious and Central

The apartment was spacious and close to everything. We had a fabulous grocery store and green grocer just a block or two away. It's also close to the metro line and downtown. Contact with Claudio was great and Mr. Salvatore (concierge) was helpful, checking in to make sure everything was alright. Naples is a crazy but beautiful city. The apartment is in a lovely building but does require climbing up stairs or alley/roadways to get there. We felt completely safe in Naples and in our neighbourhood. Thanks Claudio!

The flat was spacious and tastefully decorated The location wasn't convenient for visitors unless you want to buy designer clothes. Difficult for ordinary shopping and food shopping. There were guides for southern Italy in the flat but not a local map indicating where the nearest metro was. The advice for taxi from airport was helpful

5 STAR ACCOMMODATION, LOCATION & HOST

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would highly recommend this apartment. It is in the prime location of Naples. Close to all major attractions within walking distance. Main metro lines 1 & 2 are all close by. The accommodation itself, is beautiful. Large open space, spotlessly clean, very secure, everything you need. We stayed in Claudio's apartment for 9 nights and it was perfect. We will now go nowhere else when visiting Naples. Claudio was a great host, he organised our taxis and was very helpful and kind. There are two mini marts and a fantastic pizzeria just up the road within 5minutes of the apartment. Do not hesitate in booking this apartment as you will not be disappointed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wonderful stay in Napoli

This was a great place to say in Naples. Plenty of room, clean, nice set up, everything we needed in the kitchen. The unit was on the first floor, easy in and out. Felt safe in the neighborhood and in the building. Actually very quiet compared to other parts of the city. Air conditioning worked well, except it didn’t reach the bedroom completely. This didn’t bother us much, even when it was very hot out, as the ceiling fan kept us cooler and comfortable. Apartment is in a good location, close to shopping and the oceanfront. The owner and building manger were very accommodating and helpful getting us a cab. Would highly recommend staying here!

Dark and noisy

The concierge was delightful and the manager was very helpful. But the apartment is dark, requiring lights to be on at all times. Not very cheery.The apartment is right off the lobby where people gather to chat, and there is very little soundproofing between the two spaces, so everything you say is heard outside the room and all the socializing is heard in the apartment. For these two reasons I wouldn’t rent it again.

I still thank Kathryn for choosing my apartment for the previous 57 reviews with a score of 9.8/10 . During his stay there were dark and rainy days , and the internal brightness could not be optimal . None of my previous guests had any problems with the residents' yelling on the floor near the elevator . Rather they judged the centrality , the comfort , the furnishings , the facilities etc... Obviously everyone has his own sensitivity ...

Lovely stay in Chiaia

We very much enjoyed our week in Claudio's apartment. It is spacious, extremely comfortable, and well equipped with everything you might need. The location is good: a pleasant 10-15 minute walk towards the center at Via Toledo down via Mille and Via Chiaia. (Depends how much you are distracted by shops along the way!) The historic center, amidst the hub bub of busy streets, is a sight to behold! We especially enjoyed dining at Trattoria Carmine on Via Tribunali, a very reasonably priced, old fashioned place specializing in traditional Neopolitan dishes...as well as Zi Teresa, by the Castel Ovo on the waterfront...also just a short walk away. Both Stephano and Claudio are very helpful and charming, thank you for your assistance. We would highly recommend this apartment, and look forward to our next stay in Napoli! Michaela and John

I had the pleasure of hosting an exceptional couple. Soon he established a friendship like old friends. We met and chatted with pleasure together. I and my friend Stefano do this work with pleasure, but with them it was something special. The apartment at their departure was in perfect condition. I hope to host them again in one of my holiday homes.

Quiet oasis in a bustling city

We stayed at Claudio’s comfortable apartment for six nights while exploring the city and surrounding region. It was wonderful to come home to a cool apartment after being in the scorching heat (AC in LR/DR but ceiling fan in BR). The bed was very comfortable (it’s actually two beds put together) as were the linens and memory foam pillows. We were happy for the extra linens and towels as we made two beach excursions. The living and dining area were spacious with very comfortable couches and armchair and excellent lighting. The kitchen was very small with the basics. Being on the first floor did not provide for any views. As others have commented, to get to the lovely and lively commercial area of Chiaia requires going down (and then up) four flights of stairs (we counted at least 100), which we did 1-2 times a day. Claudio was a responsive, flexible and helpful host. We especially appreciated him ordering us a taxi to get to the airport the day of our departure.

I thank Marilyn for her complete description of my apartment which I think she has greatly appreciated and I hope to host her again . I take great care of the linen in my apartment , but generally the linen not provided is for subsequent tourists and not to use on the beach and return stained ( Towels for personal hygiene should not go to the beach ). Inside the apartment you will find instructions on how to avoid walking the uphill road to get home.

Lovely apartment in a peaceful part of Naples

We spent a wonderful week in this cosy and spacious apartment in Naples with our two teenage daughters. The booking was easy and contact with the proprietors was easy and friendly right from the start. The apartment is very clean and located in a quiet and elegant part of this bustling city, not far from the seaside, public transport, the Via dei Mille and the Via Chiaia. A good freind of the owners named Stefano was there to greet us and made sure we were happy and comfortable during our stay. Naples is a great city where there is lots to see and do, but it is important to realize it is also quite hilly in places and you need to climb some stairs to get to the apartment. No problem whatsoever for us, but it could be a problem for the elderly or disabled. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment feels like a real home, because the owners paid so much attention to the decor and the details. We strongly recommend it and we hope to come back here one day. Naples is a great city in a truly stunning location. Thank you for everything, Fulvia and Stefano!

Monika and her family were welcome guests in my apartment. Although I have not personally known we had a lot of E-mail and maybe we can be almost friends. My apartment on their departure was in perfect condition and correctness has been their characteristic. I hope to again host this family in my apartment .

Magnifique séjour

L’appartement est situé en hauteur ce qui semble être habituel à Naples. La ville étant construite sur un monticule. Il faut avoir le cœur bien accroché pour gravir les 107 marches et puis la côte plutôt abrupte qui mène à l’appartement. Toutefois cela en vaut la peine car l’appartement est vaste et très agréable.

Merci Myriam pour votre évaluation 5 étoiles qui s'ajoute à dizaines d'autres du même niveau. A l'égard du placement de l'appartement, c'est vrai qu'il faut gravir un certain niveau, mais on peut éviter les marches en parcourant la route carrossable ou prendre un autre escalier avec la moitié des marches que vous avez faites.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé 15 jours au calme dans cette superbe location où tout est prévu. L'accueil tant de Claudio, propriétaire, que de Salvatore, le concierge, a été chaleureux et les conseils qu'ils nous ont dispensés, fort utiles. Nous recommandons fortement cette location.

"Endroit calme, cela fait...

"Endroit calme, cela fait du bien dans ce quartier sympathique de Naples. En partant de l'appartement et en grimpant quelques ruelles,on arrive au quartier du Vomero, d'où l'on peut avoir une vue superbe sur la ville. Stefano est très sympathique, il parle français et c'est très appréciable."
