Cette jolie cabane récemment rénovée au sommet de la colline du lac Byllesby est une excellente escapade ou des vacances à seulement 40 minutes des villes jumelles et à 45 minutes de Rochester. Le lac est un joyau caché pour la voile, la pêche et la navigation de plaisance. La vue depuis la cabine donne sur 2000 acres de terrain non aménagé de boyscout, donc la vue est incroyable. Lorsque vous regardez le lac, le côté gauche est un parc public avec un débarcadère. Cela en fait un terrain calme et privé sur le lac.

Détendez-vous sur le pont avec un livre et des jumelles à la main pour observer les aigles planeurs, les pics, les oiseaux bleus, les hérons et les pélicans blancs.

Il y a une table à manger extérieure avec 4 chaises, 2 chaises longues avec coussins, 2 chaises adirondak et un hamac pour votre usage. Descendez jusqu'au quai pour prendre le soleil, faire du canoë ou pêcher. Profitez de la chaleur du feu de camp surplombant le lac, faites griller des marais moelleux, racontez des histoires et détendez-vous simplement.

La disposition de la cabine est très propre et simple. 2 chambres, 1 salle de bain complète, buanderie, solarium, salon et cuisine. La cour est assez grande pour jouer au football, au badminton, au volleyball, au lancer des sacs de fèves. Nous avons une terrasse en fer à cheval.
Il y a aussi un jardin fleuri et un jardin d'herbes aromatiques pour votre usage. Nous avons récemment acheté un canot et un pédalo pour votre plaisir.

A gem of a place! The view of the lake is so incredibly beautiful and peaceful. My husband and I enjoyed it both from the fire pit seats and down on the private dock. We also went out for a quiet ride around the lake in the canoe that is provided. The cabin is cozy and well kept. We will treasure our time here and the memories that were made!

We had a nice stay. Really nice to be close to boat launch. Beautiful view. Super hot during our stay, so certain amenities we did not take advantage of like fire pit.

Since discovering this lovely property, we try to return twice yearly. It is so very, very peaceful. The SE part of Minnesota is by far my favorite part of the state and this specific area in particular. It is my happy place! We love this property, it is perfect for my husband and myself. The hosts are pleasant and responsive, the backyard area and deck are especially lovely, and the kitchen is well appointed.

It was a wonderful and peaceful stay! We were there for a weeks long visit to Mayo and the location was perfect! Easy drive to Mayo and easy drive to MSP for day trips. Sunrise was beautiful!

This is a favorite place for my husband and me to revisit. We love this area of southeastern Minnesota. The hosts are always quick to communicate and are very kind and accommodating. The lake home is cozy, well appointed and in such a lovely, quiet area — plus not a far drive from our home. We have already booked our next stay!

Overall, we enjoyed our 3-night stay at this property. It was clean and comfortable. The host communicated with me very well prior to our visit. The lake setting was peaceful and quiet. Since we were bicycling, sightseeing, and visiting neighboring towns most of the time, we did not end up using many of the features that the home provided. Such as the patio, fire pit, bbq grills, canoe, kayak, and pedal boat. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of towels to use. There were two bedrooms but, we used only one. The bed was comfortable but, the pillows were a little too firm for us. Which caused my wife to develop a really sore neck after our 3-night stay. You may want to consider bringing your own pillows. The home also has a nice, in-home laundry area and a garage where the canoe, kayak, and pedal boat are stored. You will need to carry those items down a small hill to get to the dock on the lake. Overall, the area is beautiful and the sunsets and sunrises are wonderful.

This was our 3rd visit to this very nice home on the lake with beautiful sunrise views. Our stay was quiet and relaxing. We always seem to come off season so unable to play in the lake. Easy to get in touch with the owners if need be. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Will return.

Very quaint cabin with all you need for a good old fashioned nice time. Reminded me of my childhood staying there with the adorable decor and cabin feel. It felt like home.

Great cabin on the lake!

Dawn and Mike did a great job supplying everything we needed for our stay. The cool/fun decor of the cabin fits the lake and the area. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay on the lake!

We had a great time for a long weekend at the lake. The house sits on a hill making the dock and waterfront area down about 75 ft which was not how I interpreted the photos. It worked out for us, but we had some family members with us that couldn’t do the hill so that played a role for us. The spare bed in the sunroom is not air conditioned, it affected the rest of the houses AC if we left the door open, which left us sleeping on the couch. Overall, it worked for a weekend but 6 people made it very cramped for us and not good rest. Gravel was a surprise, which we try to avoid with our boat, nobody’s fault but good info to have. Although we had our dogs, random other dogs continued to be in our yard, on the deck, and appeared to plan to hangout most the day. This was not ideal for us with two dogs and trying to watch everywhere. The outdoor area is beautifully cared for and the view this cabin offers is wonderful for sunrise. If you plan to just hangout and have a view I highly recommend. The lake was beautiful, we tried to fish it with little to no luck! Time of year may play a huge role!Would recommend for small groups or 1-2 couples! Loved that my pups got to experience the area with us. Visited the winery one night and it was PERFECT. Highly recommend cannon winery!

Centrally located to beautiful views, hiking, wine country, water-sports, antiquing, the Minneapolis / St. Paul area, Rochester, Redwing, Northfield (St. Olaf & Carleton), snow-mobile trails, hiking, skiing, golfing etc.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Love the easy access to the beach and lake living. It is 3 minutes to the best of golf courses. Wine tasting is right in town. We enjoy just BBQing, making a fire and relaxing. In the mornings I love to take the dogs for a walk to the park and along the nearby hiking trails right out the door. Watching the deer, golden finches, cardinals, humming birds.....
