Cet appartement spacieux regorge de détails et de charme authentiques du 18ème siècle, conservant les poutres et les boiseries d'origine de l'époque coloniale tout en offrant le meilleur des équipements modernes. L'appartement a la chaleur spécifique à l'unité et la climatisation pour votre confort individuel. Le grand salon meublé dispose d'une cheminée à gaz pour les nuits froides et 55 pouces TV à écran plat. Le câble Fios, plusieurs chaînes premium et le Wifi sont inclus. Laver l'écran de soleil dans la salle de bain de style spa. La cuisine complète et le lave-linge / sèche-linge intégré facilitent votre séjour.

La chambre comprend un lit queen-size et un lit double / gigogne ainsi qu'un grand placard et une cheminée décorative. Le salon a un canapé-lit Queen pour ceux qui veulent un peu plus d'espace de couchage ainsi que des chaises confortables. We enjoyed staying in a home in the historic district, the view of the harbor, short walk to town center of shops, food and historic sites. The car stayed parked, as we walked to all the places we wanted to go. Although they were not needed, the owners live nearby and are very accessible. A very enjoyable stay!

Fantastic location and gracious hosts

We spent the 4th of July weekend in Marblehead with our two toddlers, and loved how this house allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go in old town. The hosts live in the unit upstairs, and were very gracious to us during our stay. They even held a parking space for us, which was incredibly helpful. We will be booking again. Thanks!!

We LOVED it!

I stayed here with a friend for a girl's weekend and we loved it! The apartment has charm and character, but was comfortable and had modern amenities and updates. The covered porch was a standhout amenity for us, and we used it every day.The town is picturesque and walkable, the only struggle was finding parking nearby, but we got lucky more than we didn't. Easy drive to Salem and Boston. Would definitely stay again!

We are natives of Massachusetts and New York - sports team allegiance not withstanding- and lived for nearly 30 years in the D.C. metro region. We chose to move to Marblehead to enjoy all that this lovely town has to offer. It is our pleasure to welcome guests visiting the area.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Our house was originally constructed in 1763 to serve as the home and shop for a well know cabinet maker in his day. Later, in 1795, the home was purchased by a sea captain who provided for his family during the heyday of Marblehead's cod fishing industry.

We purchased the home with the intent to maintain this piece of American history and to share it with visitors to the area. We embarked on a series of renovations, starting with the apartment, and continue to make improvements to the home so that it continues to shine for another 250+ years.

The apartment is a few short steps up from the street and is a fully private unit. We reside in rest of the house above and are on hand to answer any questions.
It has been completely updated and features all the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable while retaining the distinctive charm of its colonial roots.
From our location, you can walk everywhere in Marblehead and we are a short drive to Salem, Rockport and Gloucester. Boston is accessible via car, commuter train, seasonal ferry (Salem) or Metro (Revere).
