Cette maison de luxe extrêmement privée avec vue sur Catamount Ski et à proximité de The Barn at Liberty Farms est située sur 33 acres au bout d'un cul de sac et est située dans le comté de Columbia à seulement 10 minutes du pensionnaire du Massachusetts et à 30 minutes du Vermont frontière. Cette maison a 5+ chambres (2 maîtres au premier étage) et 4 et 1/2 salles de bains peut accueillir confortablement 14 personnes et plus. Avec les chambres divisées pour que la maison se sente privée de toutes les pièces. Manger dans la cuisine avec une salle à manger formelle séparée. Installez-vous confortablement avec un livre dans la bibliothèque avec un w / fp. Les autres pièces comprennent: salon, grande pièce avec poêle à bois, bureau de campagne, 4. 5 salles de bain, buanderie. Le sous-sol a une table de billard pleine grandeur et une table de ping-pong, un tapis roulant et un vélo tournant. La tanière comprend un piano de qualité pour votre usage. Il y a un très grand pont extérieur ainsi qu'un grand porche blindé donnant sur les montagnes Berkshire!. Il y a un bel étang de baignade et un gazebo. Près de toutes les grandes stations de ski (Catamount, Jiminy Peak et Butternut). Sentiers ferroviaires pour faire du vélo. De nombreux endroits pour faire de la randonnée. Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, et plus près. Trains vers Manhattan à proximité et Uber également disponible.

Perfect for a Family Gathering

What a great house! We had 14 people staying and had plenty of room to visit. The kids had fun in the basement (when it rained) and outside.

group weekend stay

We were a group of nine adults who rented the house for a biking weekend. The house was spacious and well maintained. The location is great and the large outside deck was wonderful for outdoor dining.

Nice stay in the Berkshires!

Paul offers a very nice stay in the Berkshires, close to several ski resorts. The house is large and can accommodate a big group very easily, with plenty of space for all. Communication with Paul was a breeze! He was great and we would love to be able to stay again!

Perfectly designed property for multigenerational group

The house has three levels with sleeping space on all three levels. The feeling is that of a small hotel with common spaces combined with separate suites, so young adult’s can join in group activities but then retire to their own area when they tire of being with the older crowd..

Spotless, comfortable country home

A lovely house remote enough to be quiet but not too far from amenities. Great views from an enormous deck, and several separate socializing spaces, which is good for a big group The vibe was more ‘borrowing a friend’s place’ than commercial rental. A couple of the bedrooms are a bit marginal, but overall a very comfortable house in a good location.

Great Country Setting

This is a beautiful house on a large well manicured plot of land with a great country view. The first floor is quite nice - with a library, large living room, large dining table, eat-in-kitchen, master bedroom with a full in-suite bath, and another large sitting area with a half bath. The second floor has two more bedrooms and a full bath. The reason for four stars, versus five, is that the basement bedrooms were musty and the toilet on that floor was sluggish. The owner, who I found very accommodating, assured me that next time the basement would be on par with the rest of the house.

Perfect for Families

This is a uniquely perfect house for extended families. It's sort of a large number of suites with several common rooms, so each family group has its own separate quarters but all can gather for meals and common activities.

Summer family vacation

Hillsdale is a lovely area and this house was a pleasant and spacious retreat for us (5 adults, 2 kids). We especially enjoyed the screened porch, comfy living rooms, deck, backyard, exercise equipment, piano, and kids' toys and games. Paul is a helpful and responsive host.

Great place for the family!

Nice areas for the family to hang out together, but plenty of room to do your own thing. It's nice and remote but just a short drive to get to groceries and restaurants. The whole family had a great time here.

Wonderful place

Paul was very attentive to our needs and questions. Very clean and very spacious. Outdoor deck, backyard and indoor living areas were perfect for our Family and lots of fun. Would definitely stay there again!

A Welcome Respite

The property was lovely, extremely spacious and welcoming. We loved that there were two masters on separate sides of the house, which was a perfect set up for two families during the pandemic. The deck was amazing, we set up a little pool for the kids to play out there and they had a blast. Paul was extremely helpful and responsive, answering questions about the area before and during the trip. We would definitely come again.

Great Berkshires Getaway!

Paul's house is tucked away on a beautiful knoll in the NY sliver of the Berkshires. It's very peaceful and quiet. The house is huge and our party of three couples felt that it was easy to distance in the house and enjoy each other's company on the big back porch and lawn. Paul was communicative and supportive throughout. We had a great time and would highly recommend.

Perfect Berkshires getaway

From start to finish, renting this property was terrific. Paul was super responsive to all of my questions and very nice. The property itself is great. The house is HUGE and easily accommodated 17 people. There are so many places to hang out, either in small or large groups. Frankly, the pictures don’t do this place justice! Also, the house was spotless when we arrived, and fully stocked with everything we needed and more. In particular, the sunroom was amazing and the perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee (or evening glass of wine after the kids are asleep).

Spacious house with lovely mountain views

This house has lovely views of the mountains and we especially enjoyed the spacious living rooms (3 of them!, 2 with views) and the screened in porch with beautiful views as well. Air conditioning units throughout kept us cool even in August, or we just opened the windows for lovely breezes. There were games to play, books to read, and plenty of kitchen utensils and even some items in the pantry (although we brought our own food). The house is extremely spacious with lots of room to spread out. As mentioned in another review, the lowest level basement with the pool table and an extra bedroom there have a very slight musty odor, but it was very slight and didn't bother us or our kids (even though I have allergies). There are 4 other bedrooms in the house, two of which are very large and have lovely views. The other two are more regular size, big enough to each have more than one bed, and one has a desk as well. Lots of nice bathrooms too. When we visited, the swimming hole had too much algae for us to feel comfortable swimming in it, but we did drive to 2 hikes with scenic waterfalls we very much enjoyed. The owner was very nice and tried hard to make us happy. At one point the wifi had trouble and he increased the data for us. It was enough for virtual zooms etc but this part of the mountains has slightly slower wifi than we are used to in the city (maybe we shouldn't be trying to do work on vacation!!). Overall, it is a very spacious, well equipped house with beautiful views. We would recommend it.

Hillsdale retreat

We very much enjoyed our stay at Paul's house. It is a sprawling, comfortable house with room for everyone to have space for themselves, important with 3 older teens. The house is set in the woods with a beautiful view. The large screened in porch was my favorite room, and the large deck is inviting for reading and eating dinner on cooler evenings. The kids' favorite room was the large basement which has a pool/ping pong table, foozball, tv and exercise equipment. The space is very practically set up for a large family+ with two master bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. Paul was extremely responsive and checking in was easy, though I would advise getting there in daylight since the house is set back from the road. All in all a wonderful time was had by all. I would definitely book again.

Wonderful trip

With no camp this year, we wanted to get out of the city for a couple of weeks. After being in NYC during the pandemic, we really wanted a large, comfortable house/property, so we could have space! This house was perfect for us. The bedrooms were all great, the 3 living rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we loved the games in the basement. Foosball, pool, ping pong and even mini-pool. We BBQed on the large deck, as our dog happily ran around the yard. We were also close to lakes for swimming and some lovely hiking spots. Paul is a very attentive host, and emailed back immediately when we had questions.

Friend Snow Tubing Weekend

The house is even bigger than it appears in the pictures. Checking in was seamless. Playing hide and seek with all the kids was so much fun because the hiding spots were endless. On our last day we wanted to take it easy before checkout so we spent the morning sledding in the backyard. Overall a great time!

We attended a wedding in the area. The house was perfectly located about 5 minutes away from the venue. Paul was helpful and answered questions quickly. The house was spacious, clean and easily accommodated our group. To top it all off, the view was awesome

Great House in Hillsdale

This is a great house for a group. It has fantastic views and very nice amenities. Communication with Paul, check-in and check-out were all very easy. There was a problem with one of the AC units and Paul was very helpful in trying to get it fixed. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Great place for large gry

We came to celebrate my parents 50th Anniversary. We were a group 9 adults and 7 kids (age 6-13). We had a great time. The kids loved the yard and game room. Paul was very accommodating and very responsive. Highly recommend!

House resides in a private community on a private road with all luxury homes. You will never see a car as we are at the end of a cul de sac. Yet we are close to all the attractions that the Berkshires has to offer.
