Maria's appartement is with two separate bedrooms, kitchen / dining and balcony so spacious. The location is just absolutely perfect. An only 2 minute walk and you're inthe historic old - town with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Even a supermarket, bakeries and coffee shops are just around the corner. Maria is offering a parking garage spot as well, what makes it a real gem, as street parking is always a big challenge everywhere in the area. We definitely will be back - thank you, we had a fantastic stay.

This apartment is in the perfect location! -A supermarket directly across the street and cafes, restaurants and shops right around the corner. The sea as well! The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and the terrace was perfect for eating or just hanging out. Otranto is a special place and our experience was made extraordinary by staying here.

Lovely apt close to the ocean

We very much enjoyed our stay. Maria was a great host and gave us helpful information about what to do in Otranto. Apt is very close to the boardwalk, local beaches and the old city centre as well as restaurants, cafes and a supermarket. Very clean and well-maintained. Private parking was a bonus. Great base for visiting Lecce and the nearby region.

Excellent location, older apartment.

The appartment is minutes walk from al the restaurants and beach. The place is very clean but kitchen, bathroom and sofa are old and could use an update. But for the price we paid we can't complain. Overall we had a pleasant stay in Otranto!

I'm glad you had a good time, I just wanted to point out that the sofa is new, for hygienic reasons it is covered with a sofa cover, just lift it to see it! The furniture has also been renovated, respecting the typical style of Salento!

If you find yourself visiting Otranto, this is a GREAT spot

I recently stayed for three weeks at this VRBO and it was great! The place itself has everything you need for a short or long term stay. Maria was great prior to check in, day of check in and during my stay. The location cannot be beat you are short walk away from everything Otranto has to offer. There is mercato (market) across the street which supplies just about everything you need. Next to that is a macelleria (butcher shop) if you are looking to cook at home. The beach and the boardwalk are a short two minute walk in addition to numerous restaurants, cafe's/bars etc. The location cannot be beat! The flat has plenty of space, plus a balcony, all the cooking supplies you need and a washing machine with a drying rack on the balcony. When, not if, we return to Otranto I will be coordinating with Maria to stay again!

The positives- lovely location, around the corner from the main area in the old part of town.- Comfortable bed- fairly fast response to repeated power failures - nice little balcony overlooking street with food store directly across the road - person who met us on arrival very nice. The negatives- a bit more rundown than expected- the second bedroom though not expected to be used was not set up- beds not made up, curtain not properly installed- unused wiring ( well covered) jutting out of walls in two places - problems with power outages, which were in fact dealt with by an electrician successfully after our several attempts on our part were only partially successful - no lighting in entrance on outdoor pass leading up to second floor apartment (or maybe we could find just not find the switch to turn on) Luckily we had a flashlight - need to remind guests that leaving the key in the apartment on departure may cause big problems if the gate at street level is locked- which it often was)and you no longer have a key to open it

I'm glad you enjoyed the apartment. We prepare the entire apartment and its beds based on the number of people listed in the reservation. Like any vacation rental/hotel, we have a certified electrical system; the problem you reported was resolved within an hour of your report on Easter Monday. Please remember that you must carry your keys with you to enter and exit the apartment, and that you must turn on the lights on the staircase.

Great Location and wonderful host

We stayed 2 months in Otranto at this unit. The location was superb with easy access to Otranto’s old town, boardwalk, and beaches. The unit was well supplied with everything you would need for a stay, although for a longer stay the kitchen counter area was a bit small. Having a garage to park in is highly recommended in Otranto. The garage was underground the apartment complex and gated. The apartment complex was a bit noisy, mostly because of a dog that lived there and barked day and night. The host contacted the building manager on our behalf and hopefully the situation will be rectified soon. With a longer stay we did have a few things that needed addressed and the host Maria was super responsive and easy to work with.

Séjour merveilleux

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Catia à Otrante. On a été très bien accueillis, l’appartement était bien décoré et spacieux, il y avait tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. L’emplacement est extraordinaire car vous êtes au cœur de la ville, ce qui permet de choisir entre les plages et le centre historique, et en deuxième ligne nous étions au calme pour dormir après avoir profité de l’ambiance du soir. Le parking est vraiment un plus pour explorer sans difficultés les alentours sans perdre du temps à chercher une place. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir un jour car cette région est pleine de trésors à découvrir.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen, die Wohnung ist großzügig, der Balkon geht zur Straße ist aber in der Nacht recht ruhig. Der Tiefgaragenstellplatz ist nur für Kleinwägen geeignet da er ziemlich verwinkelt ist.Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und Maria hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen.Es war ein gelungener Aufenthalt.
